  1. I'm late to the party. I think part of what played into Debbie's anger here was the kidnapping storyline hitting a little too close to home. In the ring, Zoya is keeping Liberty Belle from her child. In real life, it's (at least tangentially) Ruth's fault that Debbie doesn't have Randy all the time. Her response to seeing Mark and his new gal with Randy was to abuse all the substances and get in the ring where Zoya/Ruth is taunting her about keeping her child from her. I think Ruth's lucky all she got was a broken ankle.
  2. So it was right there all along and I didn't notice until the end. Van Delorey sounds like "vandal".
  3. I'm coming to this discussion really late, but holy shit that last season was bad. The whole Gangs of Hemlock Grove plot was terribly out of place. Shelly's adventures in homelessness thing was painfully embarrassing. I like Shelly, but I think the show would have been better if she'd succeeded when she tried to hang herself. Why the hell didn't anyone kill Olivia? She was vulnerable many times, and everyone hated her and knew she was dangerous. Annie was awful. I'm sure I'm putting way more thought into this than it deserves, but what was Spivak's plan? He spent years and years manipulating the upirs to make Nadia, and then he bred with her. But why? Wouldn't the point of that be hybrid offspring that are immune to upir venom? But the little baby manta rays weren't immune. So... ? And somehow there's a tunnel under the cabin in Erie, Pa that leads to Niagara Falls? That's a four hour drive, at least. Ugh. This show.
  4. Perhaps the use of hazmat suits is a clue, if there are 2 timelines.
  5. So Marcella went to Grace's house and said, "you know my husband," and Grace let her in. Where was she when Henry showed up and killed Grace? She had to still be there, right? Because why would she confront Grace, leave, then come back? But if she was there, why didn't Henry see her?
  6. It's clear she wants Jason back (or at least she did before she learned of Grace's pregnancy), and Jason knows that, so to sleep with her is a really cruel thing to do. Plus he was a dick about telling the kids, abdicating responsibility.
  7. Oh, Maddy Maddy Maddy. When Marcella found Grace's body in the woods, did she uncover it to make it easier to find? That would be... not smart. And she put her fingerprints all over the plastic bag, too. It's interesting that she has such a strong need to be involved in the case, even though she's pretty sure she killed one of the victims. She's not just there to cover her own tracks, though, and I don't think she thinks she'll discover that she's somehow innocent.
  8. Sylvie is a horrible person. Very punchable. I can't stand her. Cara doesn't seem to have an overly developed sense of self-preservation.
  9. The Jinx could be fun, but Armison plays Robert Durst in the new Kimmy Schmidt and they might not to go to that well too many times.
  10. I believe she was just black in the wrong neighborhood.
  11. Paul looks like a young Roger Ebert, and I agree he doesn't deserve to be stuck with Lindsey.
  12. Since when is February in New Hampshire so green and leafy? Why did they make it Presidents Day weekend when it could have easily been some non-snowy time of year? Why would there be a migrant farm worker hanging around in NH in the winter? Isn't the whole "migrant" part because they travel around to where there's farming to be done?
  13. I generally hate Pamela and the way she treats Louie, but here I think she was in the right. Her timing maybe wasn't great, but breaking up with him was the kind thing to do. He was never going to be happy with the sort of casual relationship she wanted. And she wasn't an asshole about it either, which surprised me.
  14. I like Alfredo, but I HATE his hats. How many of those awful things does the wardrobe department have on hand to torture the poor actor, and my eyes?
