Well, I've been soundly whomped for giving an Unpopular Opinion in the Unpopular Opinions section.

It was because the original plan for the Ejami wedding was to go to Italy for the honeymoon and Sami felt unprepared to participate in his world. But what sucked was the angel motif Abby had from Jack that made EJ comment to begin the seduction even before the the covereup, is is one of the most popular angel icons ever and even on a postage stamp. The bored angel. And Abs was impressed he knew about it, really?. No wonder her friends excluded her from any discussion about what happened with Melanie. I think she's shrieking now because she finally realises years later that none of her age group ever included her in what was going on. Stephanie too. It actually makes me laugh, because I laughed back then when everyone knew except Abs.

Eric Jordan Kristen - we've heard for months about her coming back, it's like she never left.

Sami is the heart and soul of this show and when she leaves the show will decline. There is nobody to take her place as leading lady other than Kate. I love EJ even if it shows he is unhappy with the writing 1,000 personalities for him to play. Most handsome, definitely. I don't blame him for wanting to try something new. I can't think of anyone else on the show to take his place either. I love JJ but he's too young. WilSon maybe, but they need better storylines. I guess I'm saying I'm worried about the show after Sami and EJ leave. I was watching during during Lumi and they are still my favorite pairing. Yes, they have taken on a brother/sister feeling now, because they were friends to start with, and are very good at coparenting. I find Lucas very cute, and shorter man have a lot of advantages in many situations. Rafe with Sami in the plaid housewife shirts was the worst. I just saw a live NBC promo of NuEve hugging TruePaige. My unpopular opinion is that they don't look remotely related to be mother/daughter, which is where this seems to be heading. I think that accounts for some of the confusion over how Eve would fit in. I understand talent over looks (made myself laugh a little bit there, thinking of the pretty boys/girls on the show), but even given possible family resemblances, Paige is strange looking, has a huge head and speaks very slowly. She reminds me of Ghoul Girl weirdness back in the day. But I'll admit she's a better actress than Chloe ever was. Speaking of resemblance, it has bothered me for a long time that Ari looks exactly like NuWill. No casting for talent excuse there (she's not even a very smiley baby) but don't tell me they couldn't find a little hispanic girl who would be a plausible child for Gabi's huge brown eyes and smooth dark hair. It's awfully disappointing because their real child would be gorgeous. But hey, that's what the Unpopular Opinions section is for.

John Julie Naggie Theo and Ciara might be on my halfway down the list vote, Ciara plays the spoiled manipulative brat way too well to be other than true to life. And Theo just to spare him from being used and hurt by Ciara again. Dan's gone? I hate him too but didn't see that one coming so soon. LP, you read the interviews. Do KM and MR have a clue what the audience thinks of them?

Ha ha with the weddings. The last AS interview I read was that her favorite scene involved going through her closet with all the wedding gowns hanging there. I remember that! They really aren't sorasing the Samikidz. Or Bope's kid. Yeah, Will is just graduating so 21 or so is about right. The twins who played Johnny just turned 9 and they were on the show for 5 yrs. Allie looks way bigger than Ciara, and she is supposed to be several years younger. Then again, Ciara is the bad seed of skeletal Hope. No wonder she's greedy, she's probably starving.

Wait, if Eve were the cousin or the mother then JJ would be related.

I don't remember exactly how Eve is related except she is a Donovan. And yes, they had to recast her since Charlotte Ross is as old as Jenn. Alison Sweeney said she wants to come back for holidays and big Days anniversaries so no, she isn't going to be recast. When Days gets its next renewal I think she'll be back but for now she has a lot of offers. Good for her. I don't know about Kayla's contract but she is always excellent and many have noted she has great chemistry with Abe and Aiden. She is underutilised for sure. I love her because she's the only Brady who actually helps out at the pub even though everyone is aware Caroline needs help. Sami just dumped her kids off there. We'd all like to see Joey, too. Ciara is controling Theo; maybe Joey could call out the bad seed.

It looked nothing like Theresa's apt. Sami's old brown glass backsplash anyone? Where she was apparently trying to raise 3 or 4 kids in what is max a 2 br apt? Even smaller than Rafe's. No kitchen in either one. No wonder she fled to the DiMansion. Very strange about TruePaige since JJ seems to have known about her since he came back. So TruePaige has only been in town briefly or her mother hasn't had contact with her daughter for how long? Eve must be the pretty cousin referred to. I need to check Days family charts now.

I'm wondering if the reason TPTB don't pick up on audience opinion on who has chemistry with whom, is because they tape something like five months ahead, so unfortunately it's way too late to factor it in. I did see a glimpse of audience input today though, with Sami calling out Mar for her judgment. I was actually shocked when IcyMar got up and walked away from her own daughter who had just honestly admitted her pain, after Mar kept saying why didn't you come to me right away? Hell, even Dr Phil says reality is perception and if yer hurtin' yer hurtin'. So Mar gets up and walks away knowing Sami will run after her? Really evil. Oh, and Kami's confession isn't protected by dr/patient privilege. Great job stalking your daughter, Mar.

I was trying to get the quote function to work about how queenie wouldn't watch the show the rest of the week. Maybe that's a good plan. I think her last show date is 6/12. Because I guess you don't like Gabi. I'm equally sick of the visitors but Julie did some acting today! Of course she had to ruin it with the last snarky comment "I hope you hate yourself for the rest of your life." but I think she's angry because what Hope said about him being disturbed is sinking in. CB did another excellent job today. See what happens when the writing is good? I did see how scared she was of Nick in their last few meetings, I posted about it. She told herself she could "try" to love him. She convinced Nick and everybody else that she was just going along with it but I'm convinced, in her own stupid way, she was trying to protect Ari. I don't think she would have confessed if Will hadn't been so stupid. Anybody who thinks Nick was mentally disturbed can't really blame Gabi for being unable to take it anymore. She explained herself really well to Julie. And I hate Julie. Not her fault the producers wouldn't let her show the fear earlier, she's clearly capable of it. And her scenes after the "drowning" were hilarious with her bumbling and confusion. She really contributed to the black comedy aspect with Kami. The girl is talented, I wish her the best. I hope the AS exit story is as good as this.

I think the budget cutting has resulted in one person coordinating everybody's outfits that they have to wear for days. I think it works the same way with the makeup. I don't know, makes it easier for the lighting? Remember when the overstock.com truck backed into the Days set last fall and gave everyone matching leather jackets? (Eric's of course, was grey and he wore it for weeks.) However, I loved the colors for the WilSon wedding and I'm glad they've given up Neon Week for the time being. Happy to see LK in blue with her blue streak. Her floral blouse was the only thing that broke the crayon box look.

Dan's head looks like the dried up hairball my cat left last night. Dressing Eric like a 10 yr old then seeing tears roll down his face makes me feel icky inside for thinking he was handsome at one time. I feel like finding him his favorite baseball cap and getting him an ice cream. Looks like Days has moved on from the taupy grey oatmeal to classic crayola colors.

Ok I guess I never bothered to look up Dr Grope's age but I always felt he was playing 40's with Chloe and Nicole, and Jen was playing early 50's because I remember when she had her kids. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I sort of understood he was almost40 when he conceived with 30something Chloe. So yeah, in-story assumption so no problems. And yes, I remember it wasn't really a "walkabout" I was talking about how Jack left the family with an excuse and Jen kept repeating that word.

And Jen would ignore the fact that Dirty Dan is about 5'7". Years ago they put him in a lineup with marks that made him look like he was almost 6' lmfao. NuBen looks like 5'10" or so, but I don't think Jen would mind. There's no way in the world Abs is taking the birth control.

I haven't given up on the thought Abby is pregnant. But it will take her until the EJami wedding to figure it out - whenever that is. At least we'll be spared the "talk" from JenEric about making the "decision". She'll be 6 mos along by then. Didn't the affair happen back in January? God I wish Jack was there to pull her out of her self absorbed idiocy and go do something random and stupid and open up her world a little bit. He'd be all for JJ moving out. I hated Jack's selfishness by leaving the family for a "walkabout" (shut up Jen) which was doubly stupid because it occurred off camera, other than the fact Jack wasn't there. This is what happens when you let Jen raise your kids, Jack. As far as Jen getting preg, it's interesting nobody has mentioned Jen is probably ten years older than Dan. He fits better with Nicole. Not that there's anything wrong with dating younger men, hell no.

Midol pushing the tylenol/caffeine blend on pregnant women leaves me speechless. Watch your cold and allergy meds, it takes me a lot of time to search for those that don't bundle tylenol in everything. Abs is about to miss her third period and still not have a clue that birth control is ok, and if you don't use it, you might miss three periods. Remember they made the big deal about how she was in the Virgins Forever Club in high school. I love Chandler Massey, I miss him too, grins and all. I'm glad he's getting his education. I had a very open mind about NuWill but his features are so small he looks like he's across the room even when he's face to face with Sonny. No wonder Sonny loves acting with NuWill, he finally has a chance to shine so I don't blame him for preferring NuWill but I missed CM in the wedding and the scenes this week.

Hope tried to get Bo to eat some heart healthy Cheerios a few years ago. But yeah, definitely condoms for EJ. Sami could hold one up prominently when she busts him on the affair.

I hope I don't eat breakfast the day Abs tells someone gee, the fake doctor told me I wasn't pregnant and the next month Nick was shot so I figured it was normal for a healthy young woman like me who wasn't using birth control to skip two periods, and the next month I thought maybe if I took some midol... I can't be pregnant!! And what is midol doing promoting their product for pregnant women anyway?

I hope it's not to start a rift between Sami and EJ (ahead of the EJabby reveal), that could put Sami back with Rafe. Her confrontation with Jordan was very weird. Despite the many reasons to hate Jordan, Sami has been pretty tolerant. If there are spoilers, thanks for putting them in the spoilers. I'm going to miss Sami and EJ a lot and since these things drag out a long time already I'd rather not know ahead of time. But it sure is fun trying to pick up clues.

You know Mar was all ready to hand Nick another referral card had she received the message in time. She had to be convinced twice to talk to her own granddaughter and mother of her great granddaughter after the shooting. The last example of her "professionalism" was when she confronted (!) Aiden about why he never followed up with his request for therapy. While she was interrogating him in public (!) she decided it would be more fun to belittle Roman in the middle of the Brady Pub for having an actual date (gasp) for charity purposes, as if he was a 12 year old, then just said dismissively "we'll talk later" to Aiden. He must have been so relieved. Can you imagine if Mar starts shipping JenEric? Ugh, we should start a "Please say it won't happen" thread.
