I would have expected Clyde to be smarter than that. But this is Ron writing. Yeah, I'm not buying Ciara being stuck on a boat for weeks, or months on end without someone doing her hair and makeup. uh, not going to happen.

IMO, I could see Eli requesting a transfer close to where Lani will be sent to prison. That way him and the kids would be able to visit and be close to her. I can't see Eli depriving Valeri, Abe, Paulina, and Julie of being a part of the twins' life. Plus, this would be a way to write out Eli and Lani.

It was really sad watching Sarah yesterday. Ron managed to turn a strong self-confident woman into raving lunatic. If they can't give Lindsay anything better than this, I'd rather they wrote her off.

I don't know what's happened to Marlena. She only seems to liven up is when she's either boasting about or around her favorite serial killer. Nothing could have kept her in that townhouse if that was Ben's life in danger. Why Tripp keep wasting his time on Allie is beyond me. She did Tripp a HUGE favorite.

I agree with your hubby. I think Susan was Kristen. And the phone call Gwen made I think was to Kristen. And I think that little scene between Gwen and Abigail was staged so Gwen would pretend like she was making peace with Abby. I don't recall Abby ever sharing scenes with Susan. It seemed way too staged. We'll probably see Abby pop up with a babe in a few months. lol

IMO, I think Chandler's best work was the coming out story. Actually, I think that's the last time I really enjoyed Deidre as well. Up until he hitched up with Sonny, I enjoyed that storyline.

One thing I can say about Ron, he chooses the right characters to play these types of storylines. ( Brady, Chad, Shawn, and Jake) That proverbial stupid stick is always working overtime with these individuals.

It would have been a perfect time to show some flashbacks of Tony/Anna/Renee while Tony/Anna were in the crypt, but yet we had to be subjected ONCE AGAIN to Jack's spawn LONG ASS pity fest. ENOUGH ALREADY! TIME TO MOVE ON!

At this point I just don't know what purpose Gwen serves on the show, but than I could say that about a lot of other characters too.

Neither will I. The character is just useless, imo.

Since the writers finally decided to pry her away from making out with her serial killer husband more than five minutes, they could have just put in a few lines to say she was going to go check up on her aunt Kayla, you know, since she might have gotten killed or worst. But it was all just a lame plot point so she could run into Tripp, so she and psycho hubby could piece together that Johnny is the one now running around with the yellow eyes.

There it is right there, lol. And sadly, the only characters he would only want to leave behind is Hattie, Bonnie, Paulina, Leo, etc, etc,,,,,,,,,

I love reading the wacky history of these characters. It's more interesting than the actual show these days. lol

In the latest SOD article, Sarah is very fragile because of the injection and thinks she's Renee' DuMonde and in love with Tony DiMera.

I just watched a deleted clip the show released of EJ/Belle. They are so going there with those two. And I have to admit there's some nice chemistry between them.

Sadly, the only thing the writers want to use Jack for is to be a sounding board to prop up a poorly developed character. Gwen has been on the show for almost two years, and she still doesn't serve any real purpose.

Someone posted a pic of RSW on the Days set yesterday. I'm guessing he probably posted it to reassure his fans.

Ron has to have a character like Paulina onscreen at all times. (Bonnie, Hattie, Susan, and unfortunately, now Nancy.)
