Seems a bit harsh, but what do I know? I went to a lowly state school. My gets were hinny, walking papers, six, and autonomous. I got FJ after first considering 12 Days of Christmas. I'm happy for Travis. He played very well.

It's a good thing Donna or LaKedra weren't in this game. I can't imagine the stupidity we'd have gotten from Alex. It would be something like, "Donna, you're gonna love this first category! It's Hip Hop!" He's such an ass. I don't remember my gets, but for FJ, I first said Stonewall Jackson's home. Thrn it took me about 10 seconds to remember what it was called. I was happy to see Ami lose, but overall it was a meh game for me.

I would've stopped at Yukon myself, but I felt bad for him.

My episode aired at 9 pm, so I watched it this morning. I'm glad Donna lost, but she was definitely a good sport. I said Barrie for FJ. Boo hiss.

No one is going to kick you off the forum for having an opinion. We're all allowed to like or dislike whomever we want. It's not that serious. If you like her, enjoy her. I found her a bit too much, although I acknowledged her gutsy wagers and said I would have liked her if she'd tone it down.

Umm, the best thing ever? Be cool, eat a Rita's!!! I took my girlfriend, a native Arizonan, home with me last summer for my sister's wedding, and she asked the same thing. Then I bought her a Rita's. She stopped thinking it was stupid. (She also now understands why I complain about the cheese steaks in Arizona, and also why people in my hometown still drink tap water. Oh, and also why I hated Mexican food before I moved to AZ. Mexican food in PA is an abomination. Neither did I. But I knew the answer, so I wasn't looking that closely at the map.

I guess I've been pronouncing it wrong my entire life. In my defense, I'm from southeastern Pennsylvania. When I meet someone who tells me they're from PA and they name a city I've never heard of, I know it's west of State College.

I love that we're seeing more women of color on Jeopardy! However, Donna needs to tone that shit way down. I hope she'll be more tolerable Christmas. I loved her DD wagers but hated her constant prattling and being surprised every time she was right. Own your intelligence! It's not cute to pretend you're not smart, especially on Jeopardy! (I don't know if that's what she was doing but it felt like it.) Like another poster, one of my favorite albums of all time is a U2 album, but mine is Rattle & Hum. I was in high school when it was released, and it changed my life. It introduced me to BB King and Billie Holiday. Legend by Bob Marley is another favorite, so FJ was an instaget for me. Despite my abysmal performance yesterday I still drank during tonight's game, so I failed to write down my TS's. I know I had Monongahela since I'm a PA native.

I said Marlboro for FJ. I said aquarium for the planetarium. No more Moscow Mules during Jeopardy for me! I agree that the winner was the least objectionable of the three. I thought the retired teacher was going to run away with it. Nice comeback for the new champ, but I'm not predicting a long run.

I haven't been tracking my games for the past few days, but I wanted to add my name to the list of folks not enamored with the champ. For me it's her voice moreso than her game play. We are having a run of female champs, which I do like. Yes, we have had male ones in between, but I like that we are seeing more women win on Jeopardy.

Outside of the Pandora sketch, I thought this was awful. I really hate the boat guy character, and I thought the music was awful. This episode was the worst of the season for me.

To my knowledge, he only dates women.

Here I come along to admit that I missed FJ. I got stuck on the year part and didn't think about The Lion King at all. I thought that was the year Aladdin came out. Turns out I was wrong. Aladdin was the first Disney movie that I ever saw, and I'm pretty sure I saw it in 94. Must've been a Blockbuster rental. Lol. I don't think I've ever seen Lion King. I'm just not a Disney fan and never have been. My parents always said Walt Disney was racist. I don't know if it's true or not, but it's one of those things that's stuck with me. I got Ronald McDonald, Death on the Nile, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Baal, and Arthur Miller.

Despite having been out as lesbian since 1996, Rick Fox still makes me swoon. I agree his appearance helped an otherwise meh episode. What happened to Wanda Sykes? Did I miss her in this episode?

Way to go, LaKedra! I watched Dunkirk last Thursday, so I got FJ immediately. My only other gets were Braille Institute DD, Macbeth, and victim impact. LaKedra was really great with those anagrams. I only got the first three.

I found Ben more distracting today than last week, but I think he has something physiologically going on with him, so I'm giving him a pass. Hooray for a black female champ. It's been forever, and I can tell she's watched the show for a long time. I watched with my dad too, so I loved her story. I didn't log a single TS. I thought of the FJ answer immediately but changed to sun and moon based on the colors. Boo hiss for me.

The best thing for me in this episode was being exposed to SZA. I added her music to my phone this morning and have been enjoying it all day. I'm not a Franco fan, or a fan of his posse, so I knew this wasn't going to work for me. Weekend Update and the spelling bee were the only things I liked besides SZA.

Obviously you're entitled to your opinion, and it's not something I'm going to argue about. Your experience is different from mine.

I think the Jeopardy writers don't know what Can't Feel My Face is about... I got gulf of Alaska, anvil, and Into the Water. FJ was an instaget. I agree about Kyle's bad wagering, but I wasn't bothered by Ben. He seems to have a condition, so I give his tics a pass.

Agreed. She was nasty and also combative with Josh. Of course parents have favorites, but you're not supposed to make it obvious! Taking that ring was an awful thing to do, and she doesn't seem to have an ounce of remorse. I knew it was the partner when they didn't show his interview with the police. Everything else was a red herring, and this episode could've been an hour long.

It was a boring game to me today. I thought poor Joe was going to melt. He was really sweating! I'd like to thank Alex for telling us Peru is in South America. I guess he didn't want us to confuse it with the one in Africa. My gets :Calavares County, Bartleby the Scrivener (It's one of my favorite short stories. If you like it see Crispin Glover in the movie), Flavor Flav, One Republic, adverb, Hawaiian, Gal Gadot, Randy Travis, Now I lay me down to sleep, and Calhoun. FJ was an instaget.

I agree that there were a lot of TS's in the game. The ones I got that I wrote down were: Usher, toy, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Melissa Gilbert, Uranium, gaucho, reflexes, and Erykah Badu (one of my favorite singers). I also guessed College of Cardinals for FJ. I thought it was a tough one. Once again, I continue to be perfectly fine with the contestants. No one is jumping out at me as doing anything that drives me nuts.

I'm with Angela. I think the landlord was being a jerk. My never-to-be-born kids are lucky because they'd be rocking a flip phone, if they had one at all. When I taught middle school last year most of my kids had fancy phones... All of them had cracked screens. Kids don't take care of shit. One of my high school students this year asked why I don't have the new iPhone. I asked her what it could do that my old smart phone can't. Crickets. That's the same mentality that makes them go finance cars hey can't afford. Idiots.

The former champ reminds me of Jack's mom on Will & Grace. I was rooting for Alice for selfish reasons. I think she's gorgeous. Anyway, my gets were Catherine, calm before the storm, quarterback, running back, Rosie O'Donnell, Chuck Yeager, and TWA. I got Fj immediately. Too bad they're not football fans. I'd have liked to see that whole category.

I don't remember what else I got, but I did get FJ. I really thought middle guy had it.
