Anna can't leave the Duggars because she has no financial means. I don't think anyone in her family is willing to support her and she would have to get a real job at one point. I don't think JB is supporting her completely for free. He may have her "work'' in some of his businesses.
She's probaly still in shock or denial at this point. Maybe she'll come to her senses after a few years and start a new life, but probaly not.

It's not luck, She's in no state to be going anywhere. And if she survives, she will be facing legal troubles.
The luck is that she didn't kill/hurt anyone (unlike the actress who replaced her on AW).
I too remember her from Another World and being amazed at how good she was as the Hudson twins.
I just find the whole thing sad and tragic for everyone involved.

I'm guessing the Rodrigues are banned from pools and beaches because they won't put on swimsuits. Also, Jill doesn't want her boys and husband to see women in bikinis.
Jill is so stupid for letting her kids swim in disgusting water with their clothes on. It's mindblowing that she can't see the danger.

She keeps asking for money to the same audience. Some of them might have decided it was enough. She was probably able to get some cash from their ''concert tour''.

That's such BS. She's always asking for donations for this or that. She also doesn't exaclty say what the money will be for. Food, rent, medical bills?
Her father could go to work while other adults in the family stay with his wife.
It is horrible that people that age have no choice to work. It should not be that way, but that's what you get for electing people against social services.

In recent months, she asked money for her son, the storm and now her parents. There is a limit to what people can donate and tolerate. Maybe some people are finally seeing through her schemes.

I think a lot of people believes Derrick and JIll have changed because of the feud between Derrick and JB. They love that he has publicly said that JB is basically an ass. And they think that J&D have changed. Jill has because she's doing a lot of stuff that her parents are against. But Derrick is just the same guy he was. He was not raised quiverfull and in the Gothard cult.
But like J&J, J&D are living a more mainstream life but still have hateful beliefs.

Jinger started wearing pants because Jeremy said she could/should wear them, After they got married, he basically gave her a makeover. He probably threw away all her old clothes. He can't have his wife look frumpy.

By the time her parents are old or dead, she'll have a dozen of kids. She won't be able to spread her wings much.

My take on Josh has always been that he thinks he's too cool for school. In the early specials he always gave off the vibe to me that he was in on the joke, and that he believed that his parents were complete rubes. I think he swings between believing that he's a cool, modern guy who likes sex and porn, and being a devout believer in the real Jesus. I don't think he's ever going to completely fall into one camp ot the other.
I don’t doubt that Josh is Christian and believes in Jesus. I just don’t think he was into the whole Gothard/quiverfull/extremist aspects of his parents beliefs. I think he just wanted to live like a very conservative Christian. The ones who lives just like everyone else but still have horrible beliefs on politics and social issues and are trying to impose them on everyone else. It’s still borders on extremism but it’s not as apparent.
