It’s in quotes, so I doubt he wrote that…

But if all ways of life are valid, would that mean that people that live non-conservative non-christian lives have are not wrong and have equal rights? Then why do these conservative christian trying to take their rights away and want everyone to live under their rules?

Or maybe, I just don’t understand that quote.

  2. I think they know he did it. They know about his porn addiction. The real question is if they think it's a big deal or not. They do have the mindset that all sins are equal, that all porn is the same and all is forgiven if you believe in the right Jesus.

So even if they know he did it, they may think it's not serious since he didn't actually abuse anyone.

That would be amazing. An instant thirteenth vote for guilty!

The body language in that clip is really interesting. Josh is not only not holding Anna’s hand (which would be he natural thing to do if you are trying to impress the media with how much you care about your wife who is so pregnant she might squat down on the sidewalk and pop your baby out at any moment) but the hand next to her is actually in his pocket. Either she refused to take his hand, or he really didn’t want to take hers. I can’t imagine it was the former, so I’m guessing he didn’t want to hold hands with her.

I think, on some level, Josh fundamentally hates Anna for being the constantly pregnant, clingy, creepy-eyed, vapid shackles that have kept him in the dungeon that is his life. Which isn’t fair, of course, because she didn’t make him look at CSA images, but still. I don’t think he’s ever cared a bit about her or any of their 11 billion M kids. Meanwhile Anna just keeps getting clingier and more vapid because she’s desperate to keep him. I’d feel sorry for her if she wasn’t such a dumb bitch.

That’s the thing right there. I don’t think Josh cares about Anna and treats her badly, but she just stays. She’s so brainwashed about being a martyr and against divorce that she will never leave.

One of the last CP trials I had, the suspect was one of 9 kids.  The court was filled with his family, including young nieces and nephews.  His minister showed up and testified about what a good Christian he was, and how often he went to church.  So, yes, there will be pressure on the kidadults to show up and support him.

As if going to church makes you a good person…

I totally agree that the lawyers will want the family to be present to make a good impression. What will be interesting is to see who will not show up.

Jeremy probably doesn't want a professor job, largely because of a key word in that description - "job."

But I continue to believe that his best bet going forward is to earn a doctorate of some sort. Largely because if this "hi, I'm trying to be trendy, I like expensive sneakers, and I eat out a lot" social media is not exactly shrieking "hire me to be the compassionate Christian leader of your church," combined with the low level TV fame, it might be of interest to various small Christian colleges - many of whom need to have doctorates on their faculty to help maintain accreditation. And Jeremy can then leverage the doctorate and "professor" title to help pick up a few speaking gigs here and there, or lecture opportunities on those "biblical cruises" or trips to Israel. He doesn't even have to be a full time professor for that - agreeing to teach one or two courses a year at a small college would be enough.

Honest question here, but is being compassionate an actual thing in their religion? Because I don't see Jeremy, the Duggars and people like them being compassionate about anyone but themselves.
