Back in the first season, you had Regina want to go back to regular sex with Rome and of course he couldn't due to his depression and his medication. She acted like: "Hey, just like old times." That's twice they have depicted the women on this show just ready to jump into bed instead: "They have some major shit going on with their lives right now, you just don't get over that and go back to things." It makes less sense because Katherine has been so hesitant with Eddie on things given his past. Now, she wants to jump his bones when the guy can't walk and is in pain most of the time and relapsing again. I mean huh?

Yes and Owen and Richard going at Teddy was what made sense. I mean, why wouldn't they be mad at her. Teddy has basically made up her own excuses or reality to make herself feel better. Now, all this out in the open and Owen laughed, because how stupid it all is, but at the same time he is: "you are a stupid and horrible person!"

True, there was truth to the story and at the same time, you knew they were setting up some type of rift between the Station and and the police after they revealed that Dixon was kicked over to being a training manager. The one thing I really wanted to see was Vic with her parents as it's shown they are back to being workaholics again with curbside pick up.

Sadly not as much as we go, except Bob was connected to the Red Head Human Trafficker from last season and this was part of her ring. The problem is, it also made her dumb because after what happened, most traffickers get the fuck out of dodge when they get discovered or avoid places they might be recognized in, even if they are wearing a mask.

I agree on all of this. Plus, I could see Larroquette and of course most of the cast is alive, Hell John Astin (Buddy) is still alive. The show could work, but really, they have a center like Anderson was. The entire cast gelled very well, even if for the first three years, they had to go with a new bailiff and defendant due to death and payment disagreements. It's been 30 years, it could work, but who knows.

It was a bold move and sadly, trafficking has been going on more because they are kidnapping people of minorities and also how uprisen thanks to COVID it has happening. As Owen said: "Who kidnaps someone during a pandemic?" Yes, hundreds of thousand of people are dying, but that doesn't magically keep people from: robbing places, killing people because they looked at them wrong, or stopping black markets. The problem is, Bob was not going to flip on the red head and eventually his: "It was them, they started it." would have eventually been exposed even with the dumb ass cops over on Station 19. Though, what really makes it a problem is, the idiot bitch went to the hospital hoping to kill Bob or thinking she could flip this. Shows as she might be able to lure girls on social media and then have goons like Bob kidnap and lock these girls up. She is too dumb to be: "Oh crap, I have to leave Seattle and set up somewhere else."

Sad to say, something like this happened a few months ago north of me. There was someone who tried to start a fire and kill a young family and then said they purposely started the fire and not him. The difference was, the cop had a brain. The problem is, this sadly has been built up with the race issue that has been going on for a while and also how many sex trafficking rings are happening. They are targeting young girls through social media. Going after minorities, so local authorities think: "Well, this is a cliche case" instead of realizing what is happening. What I do call BS is NONE of the cops had masked or showed to do it. Plus, cops are not allowed to question others until after they receive treatment. I know they needed to end things on a cliffhanger and I'm more than sure this will bring Dixon into things too when the show returns in March.

How true or with the now "dead" Trooper. Get a damn divorce and move far away to do what you like.

That's the thing with these shows. They "do it for the money" but then that's it. There is rarely any talk of what they do with the money they get. I mean what? Retire early and move to islands? Pay some relatives cancer or terminal illness? Go buy that three story house with 5 fire places? I mean what do they do with it?

We are also to expect that Luka didn't see signs of Forest Whitticker's character having a stroke or how he did some crazy illegal stuff after he lost his court case and then goes and kidnaps Abby and their son and also add in the fact he still had a key to his property that fell under he was hiding in. I mean the writers really didn't know how the courts or how the Chicago Real Estate Foreclosure market worked.

Leslie Bibbs even calls out how stupid the episode was an episode later with: "Then why did you decide to go in? Why did you even think of driving?" She was concerned for him, but Luka was just in trainwreck mode then and the writers had no idea what to do with him and even the actor himself was planning on leaving in a year once his contract was about to end.

Exactly and if it was just to make Eddie feel better and to exonerate that Eddie being hit at 5 mph was really just that an accident or to "confuses my sins before I go to the great beyond." It still just becomes stupid.

Supermarket Sweep - General Discussion

He was like not even trying to shop. He was: "oh, let's get the special bonuses." When Leslie told him after it was over: "What were you doing? The worst you could have done is just swing stuff in your cart and go." He is probably one of those people who just gets what's on a grocery list and then check outs and goes home. -
You also have to see shows that bring that up in the past 10 years tend to be writers/producers who don't know how to write the characters they ultimately put together or move towards that position. Plus, you get an almost "anti-couple" attitude then from other show runners/writers who come on later. Best examples are: Grey's, Castle, ER, How I Met Your Mother, The Middle and Friends. Where all of a sudden "it's the worst thing ever! WE have to stop it, because you know, reasons!"

Since the show has it's season finale in January and looks like it will get another season. I hope people who eventually go on here get the point of picking up the DAMN bonuses. -

I know it's like: "Oh, bonus bad, get out of our way!" I want to yell at them to just get the damn thing and move on. -
I agree, because Niles and Daph felt like a real couple. Both the writers and actors were ready to go there and it felt actaully, organic and not the: "Well, this is wish fulfillment." or "Well, we are out of options."
-
Plus, a few years before that you had the chemical plant explosion that got it everywhere. They pretty much explained it was a few hours to get everything cleaned up and patients taken care of. Yet, oh a possible pox virus and the entire hospital shuts down for weeks on end? In the middle of Chicago? No, that's major fiction right there.

Not to mention, Mel was just as controlling as Marris, she had to have things her way and when she talked to Daphne about why she was "pushing" Niles on things. I wanted to go: "He is a grown man and he can decide what he wants to do." It seems like Niles had a thing for women to tell him what to do, of course as we learned both on Cheers and on Fraiser, their mother was a very "my way or the highway" type of personality.

That's the thing it all came up too stupid, plus Romano even was shown to basically have "never gotten married". So, really a guy like him, who was apparently given every excuse because he "was the most awesomeness" surgeon. Never got married or had regular relationships and then Lizzy walks in from the UK and he's head over heels in love. Then the helicopter the first time, seriously, not only the fact he was not paying attention, but how the clipboard blew that far away towards the back rotor. I mean, medical choppers are designed to keep things far away from the main door area to keep that kind of stuff from happening. Plus, he got up in just the most perfect spot to cut his arm off. Then thinking to the situation that lead to the helicopter crashing because the wind just changed on the dime and the pilot was: "oh no, me no remember flight school!" Then all the people who died in it were some rich dumbasses, but hey forget the poor nurse that was in there too. Plus, Romano having a: "NOOOOOOOO!" And no one seeing or hearing him or the fact he didn't run like hell towards the doors.
-
The problem also was the fact they were pretty much establishing early on that Marris had pretty much whipped Niles. She NEVER wanted to be part of the family in anything. I mean Roz and Daphnie were more involved in the family events than a person who was "suppose" to be part of the family. It didn't help that when the writers did start moving more towards Niles and Daphine, they backed up and then threw some dumb reason to keep Niles and Marris together. I still can't stand the episode where everyone from Fraiser to Martin are trying to get them back together. It completely rang false. My mother who also loved the show, said during the episode: "When writers don't know what to do with the characters, so they act dumb." Loved my mother pointing those things out.

Supermarket Sweep - General Discussion

Very true, and Leslie even said the episodes were not shown in order, however... since the teams had to "find their names" and not have some air head trying to get them coffee or something. Seems more like a later episode, plus notice the flower shop took like almost no time to get the bouquet. -
Hell, it's like they have a special box ready go with: "Oh great, we get to cut you open now, wheee!"

Tonight's episodes, showed how you DON'T do Supermarket Sweep. I mean, what was the first group doing? I mean they barely grabbed anything and tossed the bonus to the side. Huh? That last game were some hard clues, I mean I completely forgot about Aqua Net, but yep, my friend's older siblings used it a lot in the 80s. -
Right and that's why people enjoyed Roz so much despite these stories. Though, still trying to figure why the creators were so bent on Marris being a caricature character like they did with Vira on Cheers. You know, it just makes you wonder when show creators make up so much with a character to the point even the main characters are like: "How is this person real?"
