  1. I couldn't agree more. Why do they have to make it so it's totally skewed on the side of the big strong manly women and men? A guy is most likely going to win again. Why do they keep doing this? Probst's hard-on can't be the only reason, right? And gratz, Wendell!!! I called it way back when. You were the dude this season.
  2. OH. MY. GAWD!!! She is so ridiculous. How can he stand her? No, he doesn't. Does he count as a man to you? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feeling awfully mean today... Why in the hell didn't they vote off Wendell tonite? It was their one chance and they freakin' blew it. Because of this, I'm team Wendell all the way. Win, Wendell, win! Laurel and Donathan deserve to be voted out as soon as possible. Kellyn's ouster has to be a no-brainer, doesn't it?! If the ladies and Donathan weren't going to to after Wendell, why didn't they vote Sebastian out? He's the misogynistic pig that didn't include one single woman in his playground reward pick. What an ass! Voting Sebastian out would have given them the numbers and they could have (hopefully) picked Dom and Wendell off if those two didn't play idols at opportune times. So, now that Chelsea is gone, I don't think any of the women should be in F3, except maybe Angela, and she's kinda weird. My picks: Winner - Wendell Runner-up - Dom, because of his stupid wife. I know, I know -- it's mean-spirited, but what does his marital choice show about HIM? I had a mini-argument with my girlfriend about Malcolm. She was in paroxysms about how handsome he is, and it made me a bit jealous. It's stupid, and we laughed about it afterward. Even though Malcolm is (according to my gal) "Chris Hemsworth gorgeous," (are you KIDDING me), it would be so awesome if he were playing now. He could kick their butts and win this thing, and then we'd all be very happy.
  3. LOL! I keep expecting him to pull a blunt out of his shorts and fire it up right there on camera. Just a few observations: if Des hadn't lied in such a big way, she might have been okay. She lied about her lies (if that makes any sense) during tribal EVEN THOUGH several people said that they were privy to what she had said. She needed to go. I don't like liars, and I like damn liars even less. This is strange, but I kind of want Dom to win. Yeah he's paranoid and arrogant, but there's some kind of "every man" thing about him too. He be fun to hang out with after work. Michael is boring. He never really shows emotion or laughs or acts silly. He's just deadpan. My girlfriend makes jokes about what having sex with him would be like, which I can't repeat here, but you get the picture. Please, please, please vote Kellyn out ASAP!
  4. Me too! It would be great if Michael, Wendell & Laurel go to F3. Donathan, meh, although he really did do well during the challenge. He seems to be growing as a person. Kellyn, Jesus where did she come from??? She's the most unappealing player since Hatch, Heidick or Hantz. Something about her gives me the willies. Ick!
  5. I'm not a big Chris fan either, but Jeezus, commenters! You're being way too judgemental about him. A bunch of you have said that his mom is in assisted living, so he has nothing on Donathan. You're absolutely wrong. He was born 7 years after his mother was diagnosed with MS, so he had to live with this terribly ill person all of his life. She was very depressed, and he couldn't understand why. She'd have seizures, and she had "drug brain", and at times she couldn't do anything. His parents split up when he was 12, so he had to pick up the slack for much of her care during his teenage years until she went into assisted living. In spite of all this, he was an all-state high school baseball player and graduated from college as well. I understand why we don't like him (he's way too arrogant for me), but perhaps we should think about him contextually. He has worked very hard to rise above his past. Be fair and be nice. That is all.
  6. Kellyn has the most annoying voice ever!! Also, I wanted to hit something when she cried on the island AND was too scared to try the advantage challenge. Jesus, who DOES THAT? She needs to to get the boot as soon as possible. Not liking any of these people very much. They're either totally forgettable or totally awful. Take your pick.
  7. Yep, Gonzales must be a Trump fan. Her tweet could be: "Terrific non-girly girl voted out of Survivor by fake tribe. Tribe should have voted out Donathan, who is the worst (and crookedest) loser of all time. Sad!"
  8. I can't stand much of anybody now. I was liking Lauren for a while until she told Ben about the advantage. I'd forgotten that she and Ben were in cahoots together until then. Please, God, PLEASE don't let Ben go to F3. The same goes for Chrissy and Ryan. Anyone but them. For some reason, I've started rooting for Joe. His annoying personality beats arrogant Ben's all to hell, IMO. At least Joe is playing hard! The only other ones I can stand are Dr. Mike and Devon. The lifeguard gal is forgettable, so she should leave too. My F3 wish list: Dr. Mike, Devon, Joe.
  9. Okay, I think this bothers me more than anything else about Survivor -- the filthiness of some of the contestants. I realize that they're out there without soap and shampoo, but that is no reason to forego scrubbing themselves and trying to stay as clean as they can. When Cole was talking to Ben, I noticed that Cole's hands and face and every other exposed part of his body were crusted and black with dirt. His fingers were so black that it looked like he had never even attempted to wash them. These were the same fingers that were dipping into jars at various times and being placed in his disgusting dirty mouth. I'll bet he stinks like a landfill too. If I were there I'd stay far, far away from him. Cole is like a box of plague; you never know what disease you're gonna get! I'm not really liking any of the contestants very much this time, except for Desi and Devon and maybe Lauren. Let's hope none of the terrible three (Ryan, Chrissy and Joe) win this time. Ben can get voted out anytime as well, and good riddance!
  10. Yeah, I hate that too, and they should quit saying that right away. Unfortunately, Riley IS bad. As soon as she's old enough to really comprehend the consequences of her actions, her parents need to get her into a child psychologist. This isn't going to go away -- she was born with these traits and she'll always have them. She needs to learn how to control them and develop acceptable social skills. I don't agree with one of the other commenters -- toddlers can be bad too. In a 2010 study, researchers found that sociopathy and related disorders are 56% genetic. Riley has tendencies, and that would be enough to scare me to death.
  11. The Easter Bunny part was hilarious! When we were very young, my dad used to put on a Frankenstein mask and chase my brother and I around the house . One of my earliest memories is of us cowering under the kitchen table with that Frankenstein face hovering closer and closer as he crawled under there to get us. Good times... Later on, I realized that I kind of liked being scared. I missed it when he could no longer scare me. This show is boring. It's filled with either screaming chaos or Adam whining about his PPD. I get enough screaming and whining in real life (and it's all from me). Unfortunately, I'll probably keep watching because my girl likes it and I like to cuddle with her on our giant couch ( : Please, no more Adam and Mimi drama! We just want to see more of the kids NOT screaming so much. Well, maybe it would be cool if they could arm Riley with some sort of weapon, and she could go medieval on her sisters' backsides. That child is as scary as my Frankenstein Dad!
  12. Well, this forum's battle about Sean was entertaining (and kind of sad). I don't see anything wrong with commenting that Sean is a douche at times. We must look at Down Syndrome as its own macrocosm in which all different types of DS personalities are represented. You can't compare people with DS with all of society. In the DS community, you're going to have appealing people (like Rachel) and unappealing people (like Sean). I'm not crazy about Sean's parents either, but I wonder if the commenters are a bit too hard on them. I'm sure they've tried in the past to get him to change some of his behaviors. Sean's IQ appears (to me) to be the lowest in this show's peer group. Sometimes, he looks so confused about even the easiest concepts. Someone will explain something to him and you can see that it doesn't even register. Even if it's reinforced 100 times, it still won't register. It must be extremely difficult to raise a child like that. As far as Kris goes, I think she tries. She did the baby doll trial with Megan; she told Megan to let Sean know that they weren't together; she has told Megan time and again that romance doesn't happen like it does in the movies; she's nice about Megan's absentee father, etc. Kris may not succeed all the time, but she really does try. I think our problem with Kris is more personal. There's a whiff of arrogance and entitlement about her that grates on the nerves.
  13. God, Malia is such a loser! I would never look at her twice because she's waaaay too conceited to be appealing. She always says that she's "cute" and "pretty" and that's why men go for her. Well, Malia, I have news for you -- men may be initially attracted to you because you're cute, but after they realize that you're more arrogant than they are, they'll leave skid marks as they run out the door. So, STFU and GET OVER YOURSELF! My girlfriend says you make womankind look stupid and shallow, and I agree.
  14. I wonder if Riley is a little sociopath... She attacks one of her sisters and gets in trouble and just stands there with a blank look on her face. She doesn't cry at all. Later, she's put in time-out and it takes her awhile to cry then too, even though she has been in time-out before and knows it's no fun. The real reason she finally cried is because she tried to sneak out and was put back in time-out without the toy she wanted to play with. When she gets a little older, Danielle and whats-his-face should get her checked out by a psychologist. Speaking of whats-his-face, I'm not too fond of him. He seems a bit too narcissistic to be a good husband to Danielle. I do think he cares about the girls, but he needs to contribute more to Danielle's well-being. She's there all day in a huge baby mess and she needs more support than he gives her. He just sits there looking all mournful with those big buggy eyes and tells her a bunch of meaningless platitudes. It's a good thing that Danielle is pretty laid back. If she were more high-maintenance, she'd kick him to the curb.
  15. Oh, she did the deed with him. I hope the Captain finds out that Hannah lied to her and she gets in some major big trouble. While I'm not a fan of Bugs, I think Hannah's offense was worse. It's one thing to lie to your fellow crew mates, but it's another thing altogether to lie to your Captain. Hannah needs some comeuppance, but I don't think she's going to get it. I wish karma would sneak in and really mess with Hannah, Bugs, Adam and Malia. They need to pay for the shitty things they've done.
  16. I know, right? I used to like him the best, but now, not so much. My favorite quote from this episode was when Megan asked him (after he was all poopy when she joked about "her" boys), "Are you crazy, or is it just me?" I think Megan and Sean belong together. They both have the biggest egos of the bunch, and I think they may have the largest libidos as well. They also seem to be a good match in the intellectual and emotional development domains. Like the rest of you, I'm sick of the Megan love drama. Show more Elena and Rachel, please. Oh, and John too.
  17. I have a genetic clotting disorder, so I'm on strong blood thinners. Onions contain adenosine, which is a natural blood thinner. If I eat onions, there is a possibility that I can start bleeding from every orifice. It can be a big deal, requiring hospitalization, and it probably can even lead to death. Adam's recklessness, callousness and arrogance were inexcusable. He should have been fired.
  18. I know, right? Tebow is totally gagworthy, and please, no more John songs, EVER! Isn't he supposed to be quitting the "music business" pretty soon? It can't come soon enough. I realize he loves it, though, so we'll see what happens there. I'm surprised at how hard viewers are on Kris. I'm not exactly a fan of her personality, but I think she does the best she can with Megan. She has instilled some (perhaps misplaced) self-confidence in Megan, which is better than making her feel like she's worthless. She keeps an eye on Megan too, and tries to ensure that she stays as safe and as happy as she can be. I'm also pretty sure that she's told Megan practical things a million times about boys and jobs, etc. Megan has a severe intellectual disability, so she probably doesn't retain all her mom's advice and doesn't look at things rationally. I have grown tired of this series. Something fundamental has changed. I think it's just too scripted now, and it has slipped into mediocrity. I'll try another episode or two, and if it doesn't get better, that's it! I'm out.
  19. I wonder about that, too. I think she's one of those people that has mean thoughts and a bit of a temper but has learned to (mostly) fake it on the outside. I kind of respect her for that, because it's hard to do. I agree. It's a race, and they want to win. It wasn't sneaky either, since their photo was posted on the board for everyone to see. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'd be happy to see London/Logan or Tara/Joey win this one. Not crazy about Matt & Redmond because of their arrogance and sense of omnipotence, although I kind of like Matt. I wonder what he'd be like with another partner. I must give kudos to Redmond for one thing, though. He has a great sense of humor and is very self-deprecating about his leg. That makes him almost likeable. As for Brooke & Scott -- it has all been said by other forum participants. She actually annoys me more than Flo, and that's really saying something. And her VOICE! It's like nails on a freaking chalkboard! God!
  20. Maybe they weren't always awful TO her, but they were often awful ABOUT her. There was a lot of backstabbing. Times were numerous when Deb, Culpepper, Aubrey, just about everyone had horrible things to say about Michaela. It's true that Michaela didn't have many filters: she put her foot in her mouth, she didn't shed crocodile tears like the other players, she didn't play their game the way they thought a nice little girl should play it. It was sad for Michaela. She could never really be herself because the others would be mean about her behavior. I appreciated it when she rebelled and openly dismissed their judgement and derision. I think if she weren't such a strong person and such a fighter, she probably would have been the victim of overt bullying. I wonder if there actually was some bullying and they edited it out... I think a lot of this is sexism. Michaela is a GIRL, but she doesn't act the way a GIRL should act. She was too strong, too athletic, too outspoken, too in your face. Plus she had no fear, and that scared the other players. Cirie saw her as she was and got to know her and liked her. The others didn't give her a chance.
  21. I agree. If Tai is at F3 with Troyzan and one of the women (I hate to say it, but it may be hard for one of the women to win against 2 men due to blatant sexism which is so often apparent in this contest), he could win. If the 3 guys go against each other at the end, Culpepper will probably win. If Culpepper wins this, I'll beat my tv to death with a sledgehammer.
  22. I would be just fine with Michaela kicking EVERYONE. They were pretty awful to her.
  23. Meeee toooo! Finally, Andrea's huge head and huge ego are out, out, out! After her ginormous mistake, I hope Cirie can stay in the game and get rid of Sarah and Aubrey. Go Cirie! Now I know why I dislike Culpepper so much. His behavior after winning immunity was juvenile. It's a wonder he didn't prance around saying "nanny nanny boo boo," and picking his nose and trying to wipe it on other players. He's such an ass. The thing I'm worried about is that if Aubrey is in the final 3, she'll win. If Cirie miraculously makes it to the end, Aubrey will probably beat her, and that would a tragedy of epic proportions! I like Aubrey well enough, but she's no Cirie. Also, Aubrey's a Cochran fan, and that's a real turnoff for me.
