As much as we may not want to admit it, that bias when it comes to voting for president might not just be limited to conservative-right Christians. You have to wonder if Kennedy, Obama, and Biden might be outliers with regards to the outcome of future presidential elections. I do hope I am wrong though.

Oh, it wasn't meant to reflect on the presidents themselves, but an interesting unspoken fact about voters as well. America isn't ready to elect a woman for president, and they seem just as hesitant, though less so, to elect someone who isn't a member of a protestant church. Because as @bluegirl147 points out: I remember back in 2000 there was a lot of coded statements from people about having Joe Lieberman next in line to be president if something happened to Al Gore had Gore won the election.

With all the talk of religion in the US, there is another interesting statistic about US presidents, besides the ones about how they have all been male and only one has been non-White; only 2 of them have belonged to non-Protestant churches. Make what you will of that...

I was only pointing out who that person may have been in response to someone else asking who that person was, ir, is it someone who is famous/semi-famous/a blogger/etc that they didn't recognize. Yeah, I think many would be ok for Harris to have lost to man who was qualified and not such a horrible person. But to lose to that man...

I find it interesting how some women I have seen who say that "women are the equal of men and can do anything a man can do" start hyperventilating about trans women in sports because women suddenly "can't win against men".

There is also something else I have noticed, things like free healthcare, education, etc are seen as being getting something for free, ie, it's socialist and communist. Basically, things like free healthcare and education don't generate profits for corporations, so they need to spread the message that stuff like that is bad. Many people feel in the UK that the NHS there is being gutted so that the UK will end up having a health care system like the US, where some good money can be made for some... Is this another argument to keep supporting the occupation?

They weren't doing much for Gaza. Other than issuing stern warning and redlines which all got crossed. Much of Gaza has been leveled, it's infrastructure in shambles, almost all of it's hospitals and schools are destroyed, and the north is being ethnically cleansed so it can be annexed soon. Not sure how much worse things can get by the time Trump assumes office, esp since Israel is still bombing the crap out of it.

Actually, I was mistaken, if you go back and watch the show, Angie said she was going to text her (Heather) from her room and say hi. So no, Angie was not going to call her. Now, if they were going to film several women in Angie's room just texting Heather hello, that would have been funny.

Bingo. And it was arguably during the reigns of Clinton and Blair when that started happening.
