  1. And the kids who never met a drag queen and still turned out to be LGBTQ+. Also the ones who never saw any movies, TV shows, cartoons, books, songs, etc, featuring anything LGBTQ+ but still somehow turned out queer.
  2. I have.
  3. In some parts of the country, that miscarriage might even get a police investigation opened.
  4. Same. Trump's horribleness shouldn't excuse previous people being horrible. For some, the groundwork for that goes further, to Newt Gingrich in the early 90s.
  5. This website tracks flights times and flight routes, and it looks like traveling from Palm Springs to Salt Lake City averages out to an hour and 45 minutes. https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/SKW3726/history/20241116/2046Z/KPSP/KSLC
  6. To be honest, nothing against Denise Richards, but I wonder if Carmen might have worked a bit better had someone else played the role.
  7. This song just does a masterful job of creating a scene (or scenes) and moods...
  8. They also don't seem to give a fuck about the baby after it is born.
  9. I'll wait for the truth to be pointed out then.
  10. By the logic of some on here, Florida should not be allowed to exist at all.
  11. Oh, I know all that. I was just curious if she already had her green card before she got married or not.
  12. But did she have a green card, ie, permanent residency before the marriage? Just curious, since you can be a legal resident on a work visa before getting the green card.
  13. Irish actor and comedian Jon Kenny dies aged 66. Best known as one half of D’Unbelievables, Kenny also starred in Father Ted, Angela’s Ashes, and The Banshees of Inisherin.
  14. Yes, and females include women who are trans and who aren't, regardless of how they were born. But if it makes you feel better, I can go ahead and edit my original quote?
  15. Why isn't in trans-inclusive? Because for whatever reason, trans-men don't seem to trigger people the way trans-women seem to. Yes, we are all people and persons, but some people don't seem to consider trans-women as real women/females/whatever word is your preferred choice.
  16. Not as unpopular as you might think.
  17. I thought that was because she was the only one willing to sit next to this season's "Friend of"?
  18. Shhhhh, you'll ruin the narrative... Also, was Meghan McCain alive during McCarthyism?
  19. Ah, that's good to know. Someone else posted the site that she still wasn't a US citizen yet.
  20. She is originally Brazilian, moved to the UK, got British citizenship there, then moved to the US. Apparently she solely only uses her British citizenship, as she either doesn't use her Brazilian citizenship or let it expire. She is also probably a permanent US resident, as marrying an American citizen gets your a green card. At this point she could still get US citizenship even if she divorces him.
  21. Yes. And if some choose to react by boycotting someone, that is fine too. And people should also have a right to react to it. If we all acted like that, people would still be saying the n and f-words in public.
  22. How do they define the difference?
  23. No, you didn't. But others did, and probably for not the best reasons. How an urban myth about litter boxes in schools became a GOP talking point.
  24. Which would be?
  25. My point about regression was society regressing back to when women, racial minorities, queer people, etc, had less rights.
