  1. I guessed Die Hard. I have never actually seen the movie, maybe bits and pieces so I started question if it was a thriller. I thought it was more action.
  2. This. Her face sad it all! it made me laugh so hard! I loved how she politely responded to Michelle by saying something like let's just focus on the wedding for now. Ugh! Did the really have to show Josh eating Anna's face on their wedding day again? I almost do not have that memory etched in my brain, but then they have to replay it. It is what nightmares are made of. I really love Jessa's wedding dress. It is so pretty. I like the blush color. I wish they would do more talking heads with the other kids and less with Josie. I am so going to hell for saying that. Also, Michelle telling Josie that she could come along dress shopping. Really Michelle? Am I to believe you were going to leave her home?
  3. Unpopular opinion, but I do not mind Adam and Blake's schtick. I could do without one or the other winning most of the time, and I have to remind myself that I should be rooting for whichever contestant that I like best despite the coach. I do not mind Adam and Blake giving each other hell. I really liked last seasons judging panel with Pharrell and Gwen added, though I do not mind Usher or Shakira either, but enjoyed the other two more. I dislike Christina way more than I dislike any of the other coaches, but that is just me.
  4. This. It is like you are going to an audition and you pick that to wear, some 70's Austin Powers pantsuit? It was distracting. I liked Sawyer and I usually do not like the younger contestants that much. He has a cool laid back attitude that I enjoy. It is nice to have him around when I have to suffer through Daniel Seavey on American Idol.
  5. Any tips on applying the nail polish strips better? I have tried Sally Hanson, Jamberry, and Essie, but I cannot seem to apply them very well. I get tearing and creases at the tips. I love the colors and the designs, but feel like an idiot after I put them on and they look awful.
  6. I have the unpopular opinion that I enjoy the technical categories as much as the bigger categories. I have enjoyed their speeches more than I enjoyed the ones who won in the big six categories. I do not mind winners getting played off, because some do ramble a bit. I think the people who won that wanted to talk more talked over the music anyway. I also, enjoy the Best Song performances too. It breaks up the show a bit, and I enjoy seeing the likes of Trent Reznor, Bret McKenzie, Glen Hansard (I LOVE me some Glen Hansard), and others win Academy Awards.
  7. I am pleased Eddie Redmayne won, but I would have been happy about anyone in the Best Actor category taking it. I thought they all had great performances and the category had a deep field to choose from. It is why I did not get upset that David Oyelowo was not nominated, because it was a deep field of fantastic male performances this year. I am totally blanking on who I thought could have squeezed in with a nomination with David Oyelowo. This. I like the Academy Awards because they are movies I like to watch. I am not a big fan of blockbuster/superhero movies. That said, I would not mind seeing the Academy having some sort of comedy category. I thought NPH was not good and thought very few of his jokes were actually funny. They need someone who can ad-lib and improv better. NPH is great at hosting the Tony's, but I thought his Emmy and Academy Award hosting was very lackluster. It is too bad, because besides that I like NPH. I also, do not mind that the awards went on longer than usual. It does not bother me at all. I expect it to run over and be about four hours long. I do think they should have started a half hour earlier. Do we know if the people who got Lego Oscars during the show got to keep them? That would be awesome.
  8. If this was The Bachelor I would say drink since they said "journey", but alas it is not.
  9. I liked the portraits, because some of the people that work behind the camera do not get clips. I like that portraits puts them on somewhat equal footing. Benedict......yum.
  10. I do not need an extra song after the In Memoriam montage. Couldn't JHud sing during the montage?
  11. I would love that. I also like, that with Tina and Amy at the GG's that there are two people, so they can play off each other. I feel like SNL people would be good as well. I would love a Stephen Colbert/ Jon Stewart duo, but it will never happen.
  12. Small voice....I hate superhero movies. I was an extra in one and I still did not go see it.
  13. Not loving Zoe Saldana's dress and the pleat that is coming out of her vagina.
  14. I like the GG's because they are a mix of television and film. I do wish the supporting actor/ess categories were not with basically everyone lumped together, but I prefer them over the oscars.
  15. I cannot believe Meryl got nominated for Into the Woods, where she chewed scenery. It is almost like she gets nominated for being Meryl. Love Emma and her Lego Oscar on her lap.
  16. I know it was a nod to Birdman and Whiplash, but it is like NPH is throwing out all the comedy cliches to make people laugh, song and dance, audience chat, and underwear. It is like he read an old sitcom comedy guide with all the wacky hijinks.
  17. I will be at my table for one for rarely finding Billy Crystal funny. I thought when he returned to host he was so bad. I just think this is a hard show to host. I think she is like Taylor Swift with all their "friends". I think they confuse "friends" with "acquaintances".
  18. My five-year-old niece loves Gwyneth's dress. She does love flowers and the color pink. She said she would love it more if it had sparkles.
  19. I like that the nominated songs get to perform. I am biased, because my favorite musician won an Academy Award years ago. Though it did make his concert tickets go up in price and sell out quicker.
  20. This is what I thought of Ellen as well, very vanilla. I like people with a bit more bite like the ones you mentioned. Steve Carell was funnier in that bit than Neil has been so far.
