Why would it be an accident??? I'm assuming Rachel shot him on purpose. My assumption is that young Rachel has heard/ is aware of everything he has done. They've already established previously that Rachel eavsdrops on people in the house. She shot EJ for kidnapping her grandmother and taking away her partner in crime. She overheard what he did to Johnny and her aunt Sami. She is aware of his back and forth with her Aunt Belle, and her wanting to take him down. She heard that EJ messed her brother Tate's adoption. For a soap opera she has a ton of "legitimate " reasons to shoot uncle EJ.

Also let's not forget the part of the story that EJ had a gun, and wouldn't let Sami leave the car, and find alternate help. The "rape" aspect of that plotline isn't something new. It was discussed as a sexual assault back then. I think that we discuss the idea of consent more openly today, but that doesn't dismiss it back then.

Actually the Parrot Man was a character on the show back during the original Aremid/Woman in White storyline. He was also instrumental in revealing Lexie's paternity and that Stefano was her father. He was an eccentric man who would carry a fake parrot on his shoulder and talk to it. He was around when Celeste was hiding out there and gave birth to Lexie. He also knew Rachel of course. I was hoping we would get a cameo from him actually, but nonetheless it doesn't seem like they were interested in really exploring Rachel coming back. Celeste, Peter, Jennifer, Jack, and Parrot man should of all been apart of this story.

Like Sand Through an Hourglass: Behind the Scenes of DOOL

Actually Maggie was put with Victor pretty quickly after Mickey died. It was more that Mickey was off screen for a couple of years so we didn't see him before he was killed off. -
When she was first introduced as the woman in white she was still in a state of confusion. She thought Peter was her dead husband and Jennifer his new young bride. She tried to kill Jennifer a couple of times before she got help. This is what's definitely missing from this storyline. Marlena should of dropped everything when she heard Rachel was alive. It doesn't help that Peter, Jennifer, John, and Celeste are all off canvas. This Rachel might as well be a brand new character.

Aremid was always in the US. In the 90's it was more of a coastal small town. Think New England small fisherman's town in say New Hampshire or Maine. Previously it was never near Salem. The whole point was that Celeste fled there to be anonymous and give birth to Lexie where no one would ever think to look for her there. Stefano joined her there at a later date and they became friends with Rachel and her husband.

The Susan saga was one of Days best. As much as people complain about Kristen, her transformation from the "good" Dimera and Alice Horton's protege to who she is now was incredibly compelling to watch. Having Rachel and Stefano each fighting to bring her to their side was really great tv. I wouldn't mind if this storyline had her grapple with her past and how much she has changed. It's hard to sympathize with her now but she really did suffer a mental breakdown that drove her crazy.

It's actually a different actress from back then. Rachel Blake was on in the mid 90's for a couple of years. Different houses. The Aremid house is where Peter and Kristen grew up with their birth parents, and also where Lexie was born. Maison Blanche is where Peter and Kristen grew up after Stefano and Celeste took them in. Also where Hope lived with Celeste during her missing years. Also Rachel and John were friends when he was younger and posing as a priest (unbeknownst to him of course). He was a big confidant to her at the time.

Lots of people across the board have been mentioning their resemblance. I honestly wouldn't put it past Days if they wanted to keep Kerry around to make him Brady's son. Brady easily could of slept with a girl at boarding school before returning to Salem. Said girl could of been pregnant and never told him. Could actually be a nice parallel to what Tate is going thru.

Its more an issue of accomodations. If you are being displaced, finding somewhere to go that is also pet friendly, wether that is a friend/hotel/shelter. Or people are running around finding areas unaffected that can border their pets first and then figuring accommodations for themselves. Just to clarify I'm not talking about anyone who just leaves their pets. -

As someone who lives near these communities, but has thankfully escaped the destruction, everyone in this situation deserves compassion. Entire cities were burned to the ground and rebuilding is going to take years. Personally while I donate to some "go fund me" accounts and volunteer next week, I can also simultaneously feel bad for anyone who's home/neighborhood/city just burned to the ground.- 5.8k replies

Nicole is a great example. Although they connected her to Abe thru Fay and Brandon which was a great way to connect her to somebody without being related. Please stop giving these elderly characters more children. Kat is a dynamic new character that doesn't need to be related to anyone besides her immediate family. The cast is way to incestuous as it is.

Well Parker should be early twenties, so no need of a HS set for him. I must admit the Sami/Carrie rival phone call did make me chuckle. Although hearing Noah "play with his toy" made him sound like a toddler. Noah's a teen at this point. I too was surprised they mentioned Tamara, especially from Paulina's pov, but finally glad they acknowledged the tension that they would obviously have. They should bring her back, there is a good amount of story to mine w/ her character. Always love the Lani/Kristen friendship, although the scene could of been a bit longer. I'm already over the Rachel as the texter storyline. This is what the 3rd iteration of this plot. First w/ Chloe, now she is obsessed w/ her parents being together again. The character just comes off incredibly bratty and not endearing at all. I actually liked when Rachel didn't want them together, and found them to be toxic for one another.

I have no problem with this new family being related to Konstantin. This show needs a new family to diversify. Konstantin was a miniscule blip in the show's history. This new family has nothing to do with him besides DNA, and the character is dead anyways. As far as I'm concerned this family is brand new and has a minor connection to a handful of people on the show.

Alice was the bridge, then Maggie later on. I don't remember specifically if they were on when the reveal happened but they certainly were on during that time period. Tbt, Doug would be the guy to relate to Lucas. Julie and Lucas have always been close, so not a stretch. I know Paulina is not a favored character around here but I was hoping she and Stephen would get a scene together. Jackee and Stephen used to play best friends on Another World.

Just so people know, this is run by the PR department of Peacock. He probably has no issue with them, and is still part of the Dayplayers who performedduring the lunch break. Also Brandon came out with the cast introductions at the beginning of the event. The crowd went wild and he seemed really touched by that. -
It's a real office. When they aren't filming the other realtors (those not on the show) use the space as an office. The cast of the show is a fraction of the total employees who work there.
