  1. I think she told her friends that she didn’t feel well enough to try to have sex on the wedding night, so I’d guess her condition does affect her sex life.
  2. I believe Becca has endometriosis. And Clare was probably in heels, so the height gap is even bigger. As I said, I’m kind of tall, so it’s very rare for me to meet a man that much taller than I (we’d be getting into NBA-player heights for me to have a height gap like Clare and Cameron), so I can’t imagine having to crane your neck to look at your partner. I dated a guy who is 6’6” and while he was markedly taller than I, even in my heels, the gap wasn’t so big that I had to strain to look at him. (Conversely, I cannot tell you how many first dates I’ve had with men who lied about their height.)
  3. She’s a therapist; at her age she’s likely a very new therapist so she probably doesn’t make much. As a tall woman and early bloomer, I used to get annoyed in my teens when I saw a short girl with a tall boy. I was waiting for most boys to catch up to me in height and I’d be like “stick to boys your own size!” I don’t know what their heights are but I kept thinking that Clare must be getting a stiff neck looking up at Cameron. Thought Cameron asked about the brother memorial very respectfully. His “zoinks!” face when Clare revealed she’s a quadruplet was funny. Lauren really does look older than she is. Her whole comportment reads older. (Her dad is handsome.)
  4. I guarantee she’d have looked younger with a better dye job and more mature clothing and makeup.
  5. I once listened to a podcast in which a woman who had been married to a wealthy man lamented that she was no longer wealthy. She’d kind of worked as a freelance writer but hadn’t made enough to support herself; she’d never had to. She said that her lawyer told her “often the hardest thing for women like you to understand is that life as you knew it is over.” (“Support her in the lifestyle to which she’s become accustomed” is rare, and I think her kids were in college so there was no child support. She was very clear that she was living a middle-class lifestyle at best.) I thought of that when I watched this episode. Like, that home/lifestyle was a perk of the marriage, which no longer exists. It seemed like the HH was having a hard time facing that fact.
  6. I think that was a rerun. I didn’t see it recently but I have seen it.
  7. They referenced her paying the mortgage alone several times though, so it seems like whatever the outcome of her divorce was, it wasn’t enough to pay cash?
  8. Charleston SC divorcée’s hair was killing me. Three inch black roots and the blonde was too brassy. Her pink ruffly dress and hair accessories looked like something a child would wear. I got the impression that she was not happy to find herself single and likely less well-off than she had been (her marital home was huge). (I love Charleston! I would use a pool there - summer humidity there is rough.)
  9. Not “starting three!” DEAD
  10. No. I need to shampoo. I only wash twice a week (I time my swimming accordingly). Natural hair gets dry if you wash too much. Really, if I worked out less (I work out a lot-a lot), I could wash weekly but my workout regimen demands more frequent washing.
  11. I put off washing mine (curls, it’s a whole process) until I couldn’t anymore - my head itched. I went swimming at the gym yesterday to force the issue.
  12. THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS?!
  13. Yeah, I liked him. What he was saying made sense and he seemed professional.
  14. I’ve been cyber-mugged before. I got my money back but it was a pain - had to file a police report to show the bank, etc. I pay meticulous attention to all my accounts. (I also rarely use my debit card at all now, except when getting cash.)
  15. Was that savings or his day to day? And Brittney has literally nothing, so she’s in no position to … do anything, really. I might dislike Brittney more than Andy.
  16. “Part of me thinks this is almost a money grab.” ANDY KEEP UP.
  17. Brittney has a lot of fucking nerve scoffing at $2700 when she doesn’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.
  18. We’ve seen her dad though. Has she ever been married? I know kids get survivor benefits.
  19. If she’s a maid she may indeed qualify for food stamps because the pay is trash. I don’t understand the Social Security though.
  20. This is what I don’t get. Food stamps, I get, but what benefits is she getting through her dad?
  21. I’m very confused. What benefits is she getting/losing?
  22. Wait, Chelsea has more than one kid? We’ve seen her son but have we seen others?
  23. “She has to get over it.” The audacity.
