No Goonies sequel happening at all I am glad because what would you do without Anne Ramsey and John Matuszak?!? It is better without a sequel and that is my opinion. Let's face it: you have four good character actors like Keith Walker, Mary Ellen Trainor, Lupe Ontiveros, and the irreplaceable Anne Ramsey who are all no longer with us. It just doesn't sit with me and I thought it was the right call. Sorry, but leave it alone. Good call on Donner!
