Once again, some are great, some have had better, and some ... was that really the best? I will never understand why they don't photoshop the stray hairs - Abby, Kayla, and that weird color patch on Marissa's head? It's not like this is hard to do? The four senior ladies - Chandi, Armani, Jada, KD - that first row looks great. Camille as always looks like a supermodel. For rookies, my favorites are Ariel and Julissa. Not sure what they have done to Taylor. I wish she would go back to her true brunette coloring. Zoe looks different this year, and it's not just looser curls. Trinity is a natural beauty, but her makeover has made her look more plain. Kelee and Kleine gorgeous as always, but they usually photograph much better. Was this really the very best of Sophy, Reece, Darah? I don't believe it.

Also, congratulations to former 2023 TCC Darian Tisdale, featured briefly on America's Sweethearts, for making the 2024-2025 D-town crew. She made this team in 2022 but withdrew or was cut for unknown reasons.

Congrats to former DCC Jenna who will be an assistant director for Allen Americans Ice Angels, along with former AAIA and TCC finalist Melannie Montalvo (who withdrew from DCC finals this year due to a foot injury). Also, this year's TCC Savannah Arevalo made the AAIA team! I know former DCC Lisa used to be in the assistant director role for AAIA. I am thinking she did it for only one year?

Congratulations to former DCC Tyra! She is officially part of the 2024-2025 Laker girls.

Caroline was a DCC 5 years and had both a hip and a foot injury when she retired. I think she considered retiring at year 4 but stuck it out one more year despite her injuries.

Marissa posted on her IG she is having destination wedding in Italy, June 2025. That would be a really fast turnaround to be back for finals later in June, but you never know.

Chandi is the first point, 6 year vet Jada is the second point, 5 year vet They will both be shared point for the upcoming season as well!

I think the Chandi-Jada point split looked awkward with the Oxnard footage. The height difference was glaring. They are both phenomenal but I wouldn't have paired those two as split point. I will riot in my head if KD returns in 2025 and isn't in the triangle. Love her or hate her, her performance style is better than most. This is her third year in a row in row 4. She will probably get the Jalyn treatment though. Sophy is a star, but I wouldn't have put her as point yet - we still have KD, Kelee, Jada, Armani, Chandi, and Lea as phenomenal brunettes. After they retire it is going to be a huge run of blondes - IMO the most likely point/triangle material is Sophy-Darah-Ava. I would bypass the 2023 rookies for point entirely, none stand out to me as point material. But that is just me.

“Was” because it was the 2023 group. Both Claire and Dani have retired now. Sophy did return for the 2024 team and was assigned group 3 again, but her leaders will now be Jada and Tori.

Congratulations to former DCC Selina! She got married this past weekend. Unfortunately her social media is private so I have not seen a photo of the bride and groom together! I will post one if I am able to find one.

Sam's wedding was June 8th. America's Sweethearts wasn't released until June 20th.
