Whoo boy, I only got one strong contender right. That TCC being Brooklyn. I had a few of these other TCCs in the maybe category. But there were definitely some cut that I thought for sure would make the team this year. My assessment of the rookies (if cuts are done and they keep the team at 36). Anna Kate - She's prepared. She's Caroline jr. She will probably have a great season because she didn't come into this with any blinders on. Brooklyn - She's their stunner. I expect her to shine. Camille - Drop dead gorgeous. I see her struggling to keep up with the Pros at first. I hope she continues to get better and better and never gives them a reason to do the rookie trial then cut that they love at next auditions. Kennedy - Super blenderific look. She has strong clips posted, I expect her to be a strong performer. They have certainly glammed up others, so we will see how she evolves. McKenna - She's got a great look. I have heard she is a strong TCC. I had a feeling judges would love her. She reminds me of Kleine in a way, we will see if that stays true. Reece - They must really like her dancing because her look is only one thing, and yikes, animal carcasses. I expect this TCC to SHINE since she got a spot. Do not disappoint. Taylor - LOVE a comeback. LOVE that she is from the PNW. Can't wait to see how she performs with the team. I think she will be strong. Zoe - Same advice as Camille. Don't give them any reason to do the rookie trial and cut next auditions. She also needs a glammed up look - she looks so young, needs to evolve into the DCC woman (not girly) look. Congrats to these ladies if the team is final! Sad to see Leah, Anisha, and Charly go. I hope Ariana moves on to another team like the Raiderettes, because DCC just isn't working for her. I wonder who will try again next year, and who we may see in training camp. Statistically there are usually 2-3 prior TCCs in each training camp. I hope to at least see Anisha again.

Congrats to Ashley Holland (MTT 8,9,10) who got married this past weekend!

The first husband was no good, but I am not sure what the rumors were. I also suspected he was the reason she retired. Immediately after the divorce, she had an abusive and stalkerish boyfriend. It sounded like absolute hell for her. I am so glad she has moved on and found happier days.

Mel was one of the standouts on the D-town crew. It's definitely a loss for them. I wonder if she is leaving Dallas all together.

I agree on the MTT episode quota, but I wonder when they have spots for 16 rookies again if they will need a longer training camp.

Leah - shocking since she was so strong in showmanship and power pom - but she was very petite, and likely too west coast and not enough Texas for them. Anisha- her loose arms and rushing was going to drive Judy crazy. She probably couldn't mold fast enough to DCC style while some of the TCCs had perfected it. I also think sometimes being a pro cheerleader on other teams hurts their chances. She joins a long list of other pro cheerleaders that have been cut in recent years. Becca - beautiful gal, but no surprise. She was going to need to stand out against the competition. Kelly - only surprising because they featured her so much on their social media (more than Becca) the past couple weeks. The two previous cuts - Darian T. - she was an underdog for sure, other TCCs were on a whole other level of dance than her. Kaylin, the clips I saw of her as a Cardinals cheerleader weren't great, I guess she hadn't improved enough. Two cuts left! Who makes it - I think they would have cut Ariana and Taylor by now if they thought they weren't right for the team. Other locks - Anna Kate, Charly Who knows? - Brooklyn, Kennedy, Reece, Zoe, McKenna, Camille I think Brooklyn has the best chance of this group. My favorites of those left: Charly - unique look and love her dance. Taylor - she is from my home state and I always love a comeback. I feel like the last two cuts might be surprising again, so this entire post is probably wrong.

For context for the non-Reddit readers. AYTOL__ is the one that creates all the graphics we repost here, like photo charts of the vets returning and the new TCCs. Making a graphic to announce they are filming this summer is par for the course for this person. AYTOL__ gets insider info and it has proven to be very accurate. They don't post misleading stuff or "bull." The wording "new show" was probably too specific. What has been confirmed is that two Cheer documentary producers are somehow involved with the new TCCs and there has been filming going on related to training camp beginning. There has been other info passed to regulars on Reddit privately, and they all confirm the same thing. The filming has come up in several different Reddit posts, and everyone is coming to the same conclusion and getting pretty much the same info - in all likelihood there is outside filming being done by the Cheer producers in hopes to launch something like a DCC special or pilot show on a streaming platform such as Netflix.

I am not sure y'all read Reddit as well, but it has pretty much been confirmed over there that some sort of filming is happening for training camp this year with The Cheer documentary producers.

Truthfully, I think I looked at the wrong thing for Kennedy. She can dance really well. I don’t know what category to put her in now 🤷‍♀️ Kennedy has definitely moved up to "maybe." Zoe - she may be moving down to underdog. She has dance experience and can kick but I feel like the powerhouse dancers will out number her.

WAAY Early on this post, but I did a deep dive into IG. I will be wrong on most of these, because I am wrong a lot. Here ya go... Strongest TCCs: Leah R. - UCLA dance team, she has perfected the power pom, but is also a versatile dancer. She is definitely one of the strongest. It will come down to how the uniform and boots fit her, she is a shortie. Charly - A natural redhead! Rivals Claire in dance ability, and comes from her alma mater ASU. She is guaranteed to be a standout in training camp. Anisha - She has got style and energy and an untouchable look that is different from all other DCC. I think she is smart enough to know where she needs to improve (hold her counts, less loose arms). If she can conform to the DCC style fast enough, she will make the team. Brooklyn - She's been ready for a decade and is gorgeous. I will be surprised if they don't put her on the team. Ariana - She's always been strong in the power pom style, her cut last year was a surprise to many. I don't think they will cut her again. Maybes: Taylor - That year on the GSW really helped. She was already a "highly trained" dancer. She just needed pro-cheerleading experience. Kaylin - She did 4 (?) years with the AZ Cardinals and was even a captain. I couldn't find any dance clips except for one, but I assume the NFL cheerleading experience means she is ready and will be a strong contender. Anna Kate - Certainly the Caroline connection and her years of dance will help her. I just don't know if she has the same "it" factor as some of the other contenders. McKenna - I couldn't find any dance clips on her, but I know they will love her look. And I had heard her name a lot before this audition so she was already on the radar. Zoe - Confirmed - she does have high kicks as a Rangerette. She looks a ton like Kylie and I wonder if she is ready to keep up with all these powerhouses in training camp. Underdogs: Darian T. - She has a lot of clips posted. A lot of improvement in the past two years, but I think she will get out danced. Kelly - I don't see her standing out next to the competition. She needs a makeover (less tan, back to her natural hair color). I feel like this is one they may encourage to try out again if she doesn't make it this year. Reece - Ok she is a highly trained dancer. But the Jesus stuff to the nth degree and the dead deer on her IG. I put her down here. But that is just me, who knows what K&J will like. Kennedy - I didn't see anything that would think she would make training camp. She must of knocked it out of the park at auditions. Becca - I think she may fade in TC and not stand out. She will have to bring her A++ game to beat the competition. Camille - She got outdanced in Jenn Amburn's clips compared to the gals around her. She is drop dead gorgeous. I want to be wrong on this one.

Yeah that was my point. Chelsea is only following the new TCCs (and a few DCC as well). A lot of these pro-cheerleaders follow each other because it’s a small world in social connections, but since finalists like Alyssa and Bre were excluded and only new TCCs included it lends to the idea that some sort of show/project is in the works this summer specific to the TCCs.

I posted this over on Reddit as well.... Chelsea Yarnell, the director and co-producer of the Cheer documentary on Netflix, now follows nearly every single new TCC on Instagram, as well as a few DCC. They also all follow her back. https://www.instagram.com/chelseaotter/ I don't think this a coincidence. She does not follow other auditioning dancers in the Dallas arena - like Mel Park, Alyssa Barkin, or Bre Harker. She specifically began following only the new TCCs. So.... it is kind of a very big hint that there is some sort of future project Chelsea is working on with DCC! Her last few documentaries aired on Netflix, so here is to hoping some incarnation of the show will return.

Damn! They made a stupid mistake! No good reason they could not have taken 45 to training camp, instead of 44. She outshines by far all of those potential TCCs. (Yes, Anisha is great). Sidenote - they cut Hannah A. when she was working on her clinical Masters as well. Comment winner goes to Megan! Wow, I am underwhelmed by all potential TCCs except for Anisha. I really liked her (going by IG). I would not have cut vets for this group. Yes I know I am judging solely by instagram. Sidenote - not sure Kayla Garcia was even at finals. I don't think Bre was either.
