  1. It was an alright premiere ep. Although I did fall asleep for about 15 minutes about midway through, but then again, once I get in the stretched out mode on my couch, I'm usually a goner for anything I may be watching. I've seen the trailer,so I know I missed a part where Molly is running after her son in the park...and what... they find a dead bird and she thinks he killed it on purpose? And some balloon guy gives her a message? I know I missed that chunk of the ep. I do love me a creepy kid in tv/movies. The creepier the better. I want to know what's up with the NotDead guy that came back and gave Molly the ominous messages...and looks like he will throughout the series. ETA- was it me or did it seem like Halle was wearing the same outfit throughout the ep? I kept seeing beige on her.
  2. That's right @Tippi! And to add to that sentiment... Of course when you say don't watch, I now have to @Tara Ariana. Reverse psychology, nice. Except you really meant it. :)
  3. My highlight was when Jack called Mark an idiot! "Blah blah blah, you IDIOT!" Love you Jack! Damn, I really wanted Jack to tell Audrey about that a-hole Mark.
  4. I got an email from PBS about new stuff that is coming on and this show was one that was highlighted, so I clicked the link to check out the trailer. It was good enough to make me want to check out the show and I was pleasantly surprised. I laughed more than I expected to(I usually don't care for British sitcoms because anytime I watched,I never thought they were very funny) I was watching with my 93 year old dad and even he was laughing, and he is usually particular about sitcoms. But I quite enjoyed Vicious and will be in for the long haul...well...short haul since it's only six eps...which is fine by me and my short attention span brain. So far, I like lecherous Violet the best. She had some great lines in the opener and I love her delivery. (agreed, the Zac Efron person or place gag was a highlight!) Facially, she kind of reminds me of an older, haggared Allison Janney. I didn't mind it much because my dad can't hear too well(but HE doesn't think he has a problem, oy!) so at least he could hear what they were saying with the yelling! Nice to see there's a forum here for Vicious! On the topic of British shows, was there ever a forum here for Luther? I couldn't find one and I so wanted to read other fans thoughts, since I am one ep away from finishing there series.
  5. If anyone wants to listen to the audio commentary of a first time viewer of Wrecked,(Alirio from the Potentialcast group on FB) you can listen right here! I haven't listened along with watching the ep yet, but I'm expecting some good/fun comments from him. The comments have to be more entertaining than the episode!
  6. Happy Fourth of July! I'm just mainly excited for a three day weekend and some extra sleep; when you're a kid,it's mostly about the fireworks and such. Not looking forward to hearing those big ass M80's going off anywhere near here. I never expect to hear them,so I friggin' jump out of my skin sometimes when they go off. *old and cranky* aka...Get off my lawn! Harvester- great news about the new job! Vibes to CR4.Hope things get better for you.
  7. My head DID explode and my eyes rolled back! Your mom and brother are lucky to have you Loandbehold! Well, I was little ambivalent about it @Endeavor. It was an ok first ep and it looks like there are a bunch of questions to be answered, but it didn't really having me thinking when it was over, wow, I can't wait to see the next episode....like say, the pilot of Orphan Black did for me. (that's a high standard) But I will keep watching because it seems like a very different sort of show, but the minute I lose interest or storylines get too out there, I will cut it loose.
  8. Yes, that was a very cool apartment you had there cko....and it was a fun day meeting everyone for the first time. Wouldn't you just love to get another place like that for a few weeks again? Huh,huh? *lessthansubtlenudging* Vibes to you harvester! I hope the job sitch all works out. AnnieF-Glad that you're so close to your new place,at least that makes going back and forth not too bad. Do you know if the new place is a squirrel heavy zone? ;) Anyone going to check out the new HBO series premiering tonight called The Leftovers? Looks weird enough for my tastes. I haven't even watched the first ep of S7's True Blood. I was spoiled on some things(not that I care) and haven't heard great things so far, so I'm not really feeling the motivation to watch. I'd rather try to get up to date on other stuff first. I'm two eps behind on Penny Dreadful but now I'm at least caught up with 24. Hell yeah! With all the creamy goodness it has to offer!
  9. Definitely will be checking it out. It looks interesting/strange/bizarre/compeling....and headscratching knowing me. The trailer hooked me in though. @Tara Ariano, has EHG done small segment on this? (I am slow on listening to all the podcasts I have,so I am not up to date with EHG right now)
  10. Loandbehold- yes,let us know the dates. KPC can always use two pimplicists! :) I'm the same way AnnieF. If I were married to Mr.F, we'd just may have had a hoarder's house! (minus the smell of dead animal carcasses) And I've got the evidence to prove it! Mwahahaha! *sharpens big ass knife* Finally got to watch the Fargo finale tonight(when my sister visits, my tv watching get all backlogged, but she went back to her home today :(... so now I can start to catch up on a bunch of things. Anyway, it was an enjoyable finale and season but I did wish
  11. Nice callback to the first ep, but positions switched with Emma being the one freaking/crying and Maggie being the comforting one. I too don't also don't love the introduction of babies on shows, but hello, that's a big part of what this series was going to be about from the get go, I just hope it doesn't ruin any of the dynamics of the show. Depends on what they do with the timeline, like will one season be = to one year. Or will they just make a season = a month or two? Then you'd have to deal with the kids growth and suck. But I kind of dreaded the kid growing up on Raising Hope, but actually thought it was brilliant what they did with it in that they rarely had the kid utter any cutesy dialogue...or and dialogue at all! Which I loved. She was there looking cute. I mean, I can see them doing funny stuff with Charlotte, but I also don't want to let it get in the way. But I think they can pull it off. Oh thank you @Tara Ariano..because this is my belief too, (I'm looking at you Walking Dead)but I kind of hate writing it down because it's not that I don't like kids, I actually get along with them great, they think I'm a big kid,I can talk their language.... it's just I don't want to hang out with them any longer than I have once we are done with the fun stuff. Bye now, go back to your parents and have them pull their hair out with your real life child care concerns. Believe me I've seen it with my nieces and nephew. And yes babies are adorable and bring joy to most people's lives,etc....but I just never had that I-yearn-to-be-a-parent gene.(which I know you can get weird looks for that) I'd be happy with a cute dog instead. Yes, I will die old and alone.
  12. Agreed. I think I first got a little choked up also when Emma was telling about how Maggie felt she didn't have the strength to go into her parents funeral, but she did it anyway....etc. Oh man... *gulp* And it was really good acting by both. Going into the show,I was happily surprised how good they both are at the dramatic parts because I just expected pure comedy and nothing of the heart felt variety. They both do their crying scenes so well. Damn it show, I was not expecting this! But then again, I'm always amazed and impressed when actors make their crying scenes so believable. I did like this ep better than ep#10 though. I think Totes Kewl was my least fave....and Bird Bones was my fave, along with Unfinished Business,Spaghetti and Meatballs, and 37 Weeks.
  13. Yeah they were circular-ish. What I remember seeing, it was kind of blurry or not focused,so couldn't get a precise look. Good pickup linking it with Helena's tveyeonyou. But boy,the crazed look in his eyes was creepy.
  14. You better, or I'll sic Helena on you Endeavour! I was iffy about watching when it first aired, but now that it's on Netflix,I threw it on my queue(I still don't want to say "my list") Just don't know when I'll get around to watching...as usual. My friend at work said it was good though. Let me know what you thought of the whole series when you're done Endeavour, sounds like you are enjoying it so far. And if you really thought it was great, I'll bump it up in my queue. No pressure though. :) I probably mentioned it before, but I highly endorse the USA channel sitcom called Playing House. I got my sister and niece into after one day of burning through a bunch of eps. They liked it after watching the first ep,but I think the second ep sealed it for them. The first season ended last week (10 eps) but I don't know if it got picked up for a second season yet. *fingers crossed*
  15. I supposed I should reserve judgment also but my initial feelings were I didn't want the clones spread to the males, wanted to keep them just the way it has been for two seasons and was cool with that. I suppose I'm just one of those folks who is stubborn to change...but of course this is what writers do. They usually switch things up to keep stuff fresh. But we'll see how it all plays out. Add me to the list hoping it wasn't Felix in that glass cage. I kept saying to the tv, "no, no,no, not Felix." I was at an OB finale party with my BFF and sister(sestra!) so I'm just now catching up reading all of your great comments and trying to respond to some. Oh, while we were watching the ep on the couch, I had my tablet out and turned on the video camera on us watching the show, hoping there'd be some OMG moment to capture. Unfortunately, I was so into the show,I didn't think to start recording until late and only put it on like in the last 20 minutes and damn it didn't have it recording for the pencil to the eye scene. Too bad, it would have been awesome because when that pencil landed in Rachel's eye, in unison we all said.... "Oooooh!!",(pause, then see Rachel's bloody eye) ....eeeeewww!!" But I did get us laughing at the dance scene, mostly at Helena's crazy dancing. She should get together with Elaine Benes and have a crazy dance off! They have really been nailing hand intertwining this season! Me too, I thought it was sweet but wished we could have seen Kira meeting Auntie Cosima for the first time like they did with Helena. Heh, I was the opposite, I thought he looked rugged and handsome. A man in uniform and all! That's what I basically said to my sister and BFF. I looked at my watch and said, something bad has got to happen, you can't have a happy ending. I really thought they were going to be throwaway characters after this season. I didn't really even expect them back in the finale, but Paul I did. That was awesome, the end was cool with the creators, crew and extras dancing. fun to see. Thanks for that link @Souris. Yes! I am counting on super pissed off,eye patch wearing Rachel.
  16. Motown the Musical was a lot of fun. I went with sister,my cousin and her aunt. I really didn't know it was about it's founder,Berry Gordy. There were tons of songs, and it was nice to know the majority, there was a few original songs thrown in there too. But everyone was singing along to the ones they knew. The lead guy who played Berry Gordy had a really amazing voice but I think the act that stole the show was the little kid who played a young Michael Jackson in the Jackson Five numbers. He was so cute and sounded pretty much like him. He got the biggest applause at the end. Another time someone got a crazy amount of applause and hoots and hollers was the guy who play Rick James, when he pulled back his jacket we got treated to the most amazing abs! Holy crap, I know vocalized some wooo's! It was a beautiful day out too, like 91,so it was perfect for walking around in the city. My cousin wanted to drive into the city instead of taking the train. We were running late and got into Manhanttan around 1pm but man it was extra crazy NYC traffic that day;bumper to bumper and crawling with people out and about, it was lunch time so even more people were out. I could never drive in Manhattan, too stressful but my cousin was a pro since she had worked in the city for years and she knew her way around really well and knew how to manuever around traffic. Took us about 50 minutes to find parking garage that was not too far from the theater. We walked very quickly to the show and made it with time to spare. Afterward we had nice Italian dinner at a place called Becco. Looking forward to the Orphan Black finale. My sister is visiting so she had only seen three eps, so we had some catching up to do before the finale, but we made it through all nine. We're going to my friends house to have an OB finale party. I really wanted to try to find a Helena wig to wear, but didn't even know where to look and didn't have enough time. Enjoy the finale all you OB fans! Buffyjunkie think you'll let us seem some of your drawings eventually? Late congrats Loandbehold.
  17. Not going to look, not going to click, not going to look. Who is this new ally?!!! think they'll be introducing another new clone or have we filled the quota of one new clone popping up when we least expect it, as in Rachel in the S1 finale and Tony this season? and I don't know if this is considered a spoiler or not but I heard that
  18. Finally I can say yes! Going to see a Broadway matinee today, I believe it's Motown the Musical with my cousin and sister. My cousin got tickets for us, since she knew my sister would be coming to Long Island for her hubby's niece's wedding last Sunday(it was really nice: see FB pics) It looks like a fun show judging by what I saw them do on the Tony Awards last year. At least I'll know the songs. Also, my sister had only seen the first three eps of Orphan Black, so we just watched ep 4 &5 last night, and we gotta keep pace watching at least one a night to be ready for the finale on Saturday. Oh man, my sister jumped out of her skin when she saw Helena all of sudden jump on Gracie's back after she tried to suffocate sweet little Helena! :) Don't evah turn your back on Helena! Awesome news KPC! I know how much you love Shakespeare,so doubly awesome you got the role! I hope Loandbehold can take some pics of you at the play.
  19. Similarly... When your friend texts you: "Sestra we have a connection." and then you keep texting back and forth using sestra all the time.
  20. Up votes to all who have Kennedy on their list! Cause she's on top of mine. @Desperatelibrarian summed it up pretty well,so I don't have a lot more to add. But I disliked her the second she hit on Willow. And when she mouthed off about something in a meeting, I actually cheered when Faith basically told her to shut the hell up. And then there was one ep where they faked us out, thinking she would die when I think, a bringer tries to choke her.(after CWDP,the eps seem to run together for me,so I can't remember what happens in what ep very well) Anyway, I was so bummed when it was revealed that it was just a trap, using her as bait. Man, I was so disappointed she didn't die! And I'll say it now, she's a big reason I will not buy the S7 dvds...and I have them all except that one. Nope, not doing it,even if it's too complete the set. Kennedy and the general suckiness of S7 are the two main reasons I won't purchase S7 but that's a different topic. And don't get me started on those damn Potentials. They're probably second of my can't stand list and why I also won't buy the dvds. Andrew might be third in line for characters I don't enjoy. These people were taking away precious screen time of the regulars and it pissed me off. Sure he had some funny moments, but way way too much screen time for my tastes. But the writers loved him,so we were stuck.
  21. Oh AnnieF, that's cool you're going to see Mark. I never knew anyone who went to one of his events. He seems like a cool guy. I followed him when he was watching BtVS for the first time and recapping. And some of his videos of watching BtVS are amazing. In fact,I recently rewatched his Seeing Red vid. OMG,I forgot how awesome his reactions were for that last minute. Everyone knew how big a Tara fan he was so I was kind of dreading it while also loving him see what happens. He looked so devastated. Let us know how Mark in the Park was! Job vibing for Erratic! Beautiful day today and supposed to be in the 80's on Sunday. I have a wedding to go to on Sunday so glad it's going to be nice.(my brother-in-law's and sister's niece) When I got the invite a few months ago, I didn't even realize June 15th was Father's Day! Probably got a better price booking that day I'm guessing. Along with my sister and brother-in-law,my niece and nephew who live in California came in for the wedding(it's their cousin), so it will be nice to see them there too because I don't see them often. And my dad is invited too,so still spending Father's Day together. :) It's going to be at a place in Huntington Long Island called Harbor Club at Prime. At Prime? Whatever. Looks nice though. Any place with the word "club" in it is usually nice. BTW- the bride is expecting a baby girl in October. Hello there instant family!
  22. I was the opposite because I loved those two tonight. But then, I've always enjoye the comic relief they've always supplied. I forgot about Vic's "I hate this garage!" Ha! I hope there's no smell from Leekie's body even though they put cement over him. And once again, I didn't even notice or miss him. Didn't even see him in the finale promos.
  23. I wish I was as aware as you jjjmoss and anyone else who figured it out, and I guess I should be leery by now, but I totally didn't see that coming. Maybe because she looked EXACTLY like Sarah. At least in ep #10 from last year, I could tell it was Helena as Sarah after a few seconds by the red under her eyes. I almost forgot about the Dexter shout out from Alison. That was awesome. Her "do we have a boat?!!" made me burst out loud. So did Rachel deliberately have that pic of that guy on her pc so Delphine could see it?
  24. W-w..what the hell just happened?! I have to admit, I yelled, Oh come on! when it was revealed that Rachel was posing as Sarah. Loved the ep though! He bumbled in that classic Donnie style in the beginning(which was hysterical) but made up for it in the van with Angela! Definitely my fave Donnie ep, except could have done without that last shot! :) Then I'm going with you @Neener Neener because that was awesome! and ouch. Go Helena! Glad Mark stood up for Gracie. But did Helena just burn the farm part down, not the house with all the kids right? And I liked that scene when she was in the face of that girl(Tatiana's acting double,Kathryn Alexandre) it reminded me of when Sarah and Helena were fighting it out in season one's finale, but this time, Kathryn was herself.
