I have been thinking about this and I think that there will be a lot of retiring vets this year. Personally I would want Ashlee and Jalyn to come back as a fifth year but it most likely won't happen :( I still think that Rachel W. might come back for a fifth year as well as Caroline and Madeline M. but who knows? Personally this is my list of girls that I wouldn't mind if they retired... Amber M. (I like her but I'm pretty sure she's retiring) Caroline Erin Gina Kat Kristin Lexie Madeline M. Rachel W. Taylor (confirmed) As for the 2021 rookies? Well it's pretty obvious that at least one of them will either retire or get cut, but this year...it is hard to predict. 1) because I haven't seen the season, since my cable provider took my CMT away :( and 2) because they are all so talented. I mean I do have one prediction but it is like...the worst case scenario for me. Madeline S. :(

YAAAAAAAY WE FINALLY GOT THE CAMEO PHOTOS!!!!!! Here are my thoughts... Most Improved From Last Year's Cameo Photo goes to Kat. They have finally found a good photo for her. Best Rookie Photo goes to Kaydianna. GURLLLLLL SHE IS STUNNING!!!! Most Disappointing Rookie Photo goes to Tori. I was expecting a better photo for Tori since she has had killer field photos. I blame it on K and J for picking this photo. Best Veteran Photo goes to Kat. Most Disappointing Veteran Photo goes to Gina. I guess it's because she has changed so drastically since she got injured back in 2019 that it still shocks me every time I see a photo of her. And I am not talking about her figure, I am talking about her tan. I like that they stuck with the white background instead of the clipped out transparent background that they did for last year's cameo photos. Also we better get a real squad photo next year, cause I am done with this photoshop mess.

Why do I get this weird feeling that Rachel W. will come back for a fifth year just to get the "first point" position? (and possibly Pro Bowl if she doesn't get it this year, my money is on Gina for Pro Bowl)

It's pretty obvious that they will always be at least one "one year wonder" every year whether it is because of retirement or cuts, and if everyone decides to come back like in 2019 when all of the 2018 rookies decided to reaudition, K and J will make sure that there is at least one girl that gets cut. I am pretty sure that there is not one instance where all rookies becomes vets (I'll have to double check on that to confirm, but I am pretty sure it has never happened in the history of DCC)

Ugh Alyssa 😭😭😭 I need to see her in the DCC uniform so badly. Also Madisyn needs to try out again. Both of them are STUNNERS!!! And Sara Beth OH MY GOD!!! She's so pretty. Ok at this point I wouldn't mind if DCC is made up of a majority of TCC showgirls.

I am a fan of Madeline S, but I also agree that she blends in with the rest of the team and her dancing doesn't have that wow factor that is needed for DCC. I still have that devil in my head that's saying she was only chosen this year cause Victoria took a break and once she comes back, Madeline will get cut and become a one year wonder. I really hope that doesn't happen, but I can totally see it happening and that's the sad part :(

FINALLY I have gained access to the super top secret 2021 squad photo lol. Thank you so much Holly85 and Pau84 for sending it to me. Now let's analyze it without showing the photo. The formation resembles the 2014 squad photo in terms of formation, but with some changes. The best way to put it is, it's basically if 2014 and 2020 had a baby. Yay me for predicting that they'll use the 2014 formation (ok I didn't predict it I just suggested it, but still...) It was obvious that Kat was going to be in the front. I just didn't want to believe it lol. 4. Claire went from top row to third row and I am here for it. 5. I don't like that Ashlee got bumped back from front row to third row, but since she's one of the centers, I'll let it slide. But for god sakes put Jalyn in either the front row or the second row. She's a fourth year and she is stuck in the middle.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but after watching Overtime and seeing all of the other girls who were point before her, I realized that almost none of the girls that have been point before Gina have interested me. Maddie and Amy were average at best and I still think that Rachel W. got point because she's pretty. I don't have an opinion when it comes to Mia and Jennifer cause I wasn't watching the show at the time (I started watching during Jennifer's rookie year but I was just a casual viewer and wasn't as invested as I am now) Kashara had the performance factor that I think is needed to be point and so does Gina. So Gina was the best choice for point in my opinion. But you guys already know that I am a HUGE advocate for Gina.

Can we just get the squad and cameo photos already? I am dying over here, lol.

Ok just finished episode one and I will say that there is a 90% chance that Amanda will get the Erica treatment, which sucks but if the rumors are true then it makes sense for them to not talk about it because whether you like it or not the COVID vaccine is a controversial topic to talk about, especially in a place like Texas. If they were to air it I think they'll get some backlash from the public. But again, that's if the rumors are true.

Here's my analysis of Episode 1. 1. Judy finally got her Kelli Finglass moment and I am here for it. Although she looked awkward AF. 2. I am happy to see both Tori and Ashlinn at Training Camp again. Those girls got robbed last year. 3. Kleine is so adorable with her glasses. Pulling off the academia aesthetic very well. 4. Ok that 64 year old should have gotten to training camp just for that split alone. Where were you back in the 70's? She would have made it no problem. 5. HOLY GUACAMOLE TYRA!!!! The portions that they showed of her audition video were AMAZING!!! I'm in love. 6. MADELINE S. Welcome back!!!! My second favorite legacy girl (first being Dayton of course) Hopefully she doesn't get cut this time around. 7. Is Kelli wearing Givenchy? That blouse is worth 1,420 dollars (although its on sale for 568 on Saks Fifth Avenue, but still...that's expensive) 8. Okay Melissa, Maddie wasn't THAT great. Gina on the other hand...So glad she got the number 1 slot. Apparently that's a pretty coveted number to have. Being first and last are always saved for the best vets, so I am glad that Gina got it cause she's an amazing dancer. 9. Looks like Alora-Rose improved from the last time I saw her. Not bad. 10. YAAAAAAS CLAIRE YAAAAAASSS QUEEN!!!!! 11. Still don't like Kat. She's just not my cup of tea guys ok? 12. All of these rookies and vets are talented. The solos were very fun to watch. This is going to be a very competitive year. 13. Wait...Madeline S. was on Barney and Friends? IDK why I found that funny. 14. Idk what the judges mean when they said that Madisyn was boring, because I liked her a lot. But that's what happens when you don't show the whole solo. 16. I am tired of Melissa kissing Maddie's behind, like she's not even on the team anymore!!! Move on!!! 17. Hey Judy, here's a suggestion for point....ASHLEE!!!! Why are they sleeping on her? 18. Ava is Kelli's pet project for this season. That's not a good thing. 19. I was never a fan of Daphne, I've always thought she was forgettable along with Madeline M. and Taylor, but I totally feel bad for her. Why are you letting her do a solo and kicks when you know she's injured? That's a recipe for disaster. That's it for now. My thoughts are that this year's rookie class are really talented from what I've seen so far. So far so good but I am always cautious about this show, especially after what happened last year.

If a veteran wants to reaudition but they are legitimately injured, they should be given a pass to skip auditions and go straight to training camp. They have already proved that they have what it takes to be a part of the team, so why not give them a pass? Again it will all depend on the severity of the injury of course.
