Lately, sometimes when I hit Submit Reply, nothing happens. The other day, I couldn’t react to posts — kept getting an error message.

Oh, so it’s not just me, and I haven’t been drinking, as much as I may want to. I’m on an iPad, and same. Things have been kind of shaky since the upgrade a few weeks back. EDIT — Things are OK now.

Yeah, the world of the one-percenters. Agree with this. Everybody — audience included, probably — was scratching their head at that dinner wondering what Denise was going on about. Then, Denise continues the argument at taco night. I don’t blame Erika’s reactions at either party. Denise embarrassed herself royally. Maybe Kim is finally working her sobriety and getting things together. I’m rooting for her. Dorit is exhausting, and Garcelle does not suffer fools.

Them not being married complicates things. I would never enter into any kind of contract, like real estate, without having something like a prenup in hand spelling out exactly what would happen if there’s a split. And I would never have anything like finances (or real estate) jointly held, especially in a cohabitating situation. CYA. That said, Tom is being an absolute assclown by not selling the house and taking his share of the proceeds.

Aren’t they hypoallergenic, good news for people with dog allergies? I love Doodles. They look so adorably goofy.

Not a lawyer, but all I can say is, I’m damn glad there are no kids involved. I did a quick search, though, and it sounds like Ariana would have to buy out Tom, which means he could name his price. How far could he push this with her? How much is it worth to her? Otherwise, if I understood correctly, you can’t force someone to sell.

Would “Drama Queen” be better? Dorit, you should show some kind of understanding and empathy if you are going to equate your experiences with Garcelle’s. Common ground, y’know? Dorit was not “attacked.” She was, maybe, “challenged” or “disagreed with” — if that. I think that if people don’t agree with her, or listen to her yammer on and on and on…she’s been “attacked.” Look up synonyms for “attack,” and they’re almost all violent, which isn’t a huge leap to the “Angry Black Woman” bullshit that Garcelle was calling out. Dorit may not be consciously racist, but she is clueless and clumsy with words.

Displaced anger. It builds up. I would be buying what she is selling if I thought she was sincere about wanting a reconciliation in the first place. But to do that, you also have to admit your shortcomings. Kyle has never been able to do that…look at how she’s always come off as knowing what’s best for everybody else, and her bullying behavior (mainly of Sutton). She wants some version of the “perfect family,” which does not exist. I think she tried to get that with Mo, but it’s not working anymore. She can’t work through all this shit without help.

Helen Mirren’s dress — just looked sloppy and unflattering. She deserved better.

I’m coming at it a little differently. I read Kyle’s comment as conflict avoidance. Rather than risking openly airing disagreements (and arguments are that) everyone pretends things are fine — until they’re not. My ex and I grew up in similar situations (unpredictable dad), so we always just kept concerns and disagreements hidden, no matter what, rather than risk conflict. Then “prided” ourselves that we never fought. It wasn’t until the marriage was imploding that all the buried resentments came out. Kyle has always tried to present herself as having the happy family, and this may explain it. The way she said it just hit a small nerve with me. If the Richards sisters want any kind of reconciliation, they need therapy, and a lot of it. Parents, whether deliberately or not, can leave a lot of scars. I almost posted last week about how perfectly beautiful her skin is. It was glowing in the limo on the way to the taco party. She is pretty.

It just so happens Bravo’s airing “Paris” this afternoon…right after the BH marathon. (What a coincidence!) Caught a few minutes of it and already my eyes are rolling so hard they may become unscrewed.

As much as I ever hate to be on Erika’s side, I totally got her exasperation with dealing with Denise, and as much as I hate to rag on Denise, she really needs to get over this. It’s been four years, FFS. These women need to learn, too, that Bravo will happily go to its vault and pull out scenes that will correct revisionist thinking and selective memories, and that clip of her talking about Aaron’s junk made Denise look even more ridiculous. Erika was right to bring that up. But really, ladies, move on. But Kyle’s “wise” comment about kids being “off limits” was really rich, especially with Garcelle sitting across from her.

One thing stood out to me about Kim and Kyle’s conversation. I can empathize with how terrible it is to be in a volatile family relationship. But when Kyle said that there is “no yelling or screaming” in her house, I kind of saw that as conflict avoidance. But things that boil just below the surface eventually come out. Does Kyle actually think that her kids aren’t picking up on the tension between her and Mo? If I could feel it by watching them at Portia’s party, what was it like in the room? Verbal or physical violence is never okay, but putting on a big happy smile to mask issues isn’t healthy either, which is what a lot of adult children of dysfunctional parents do. I think they’re called the “peacekeepers” or the “caretakers.” As hard as it is to admit, there are some families that are just broken — the Richards sisters included. Kyle wants an ideal that will never be; worse, she seems to want it on her terms, and she wants everyone to see that she’s been the wronged person, which is ridiculous. But they all must be on the same page with wanting to heal things, and they can’t do it by themselves. I thought Kim handled all that really well. I thought for once she looked pretty and natural. I liked her hair down like that, instead of whatever’s been on her head in her THs. She also wasn’t a walking billboard for CHA NEL or Gucci, either. She’s pretty — except for her personality.

Has anyone ever seen these women even eat? 😄 I hope at least they ask for doggie bags when they stomp out of these places in a huff.

I think Garcelle is tired of the microaggressions that she’s most likely had to deal with for most of her life. Dorit’s yapping at Crystal’s party was probably the proverbial straw. Maybe with what’s been going on IRL, Dorit has learned a few things. But trying to have a conversation with Dorit — any conversation — is fruitless. She turns everything back on the other person and talks over them. There was no point to that lunch, unless Garcelle got some level of satisfaction later. As she said, no one has the bandwidth to deal with Dorit. To me, PK is over the PTSD, not that he ever believed it in the first place. I hope Dorit goes the way of Diana after this season, TBH. She’s annoying, and just trying too damn hard.

I thought Crystal looked healthy. If this show is triggering her, and if she’s comparing herself to Erika of all people, then it’s not worth it. EDIT — I tried posting most of the morning after the site came back up, but they wouldn’t go through for some reason…I hope I don’t end up spamming the board, LOL.

Dorit is rapidly entering most hated HW territory with me. I am so glad they had the flashback with Dorit saying she’s employed a lot of “multicultural” people at her house (read: “brown people,” as Garcelle said) and that her mother’s “best friend” was black. That is always huge tell — it’s not being “enlightened,” it’s being phony and patronizing, and yes, in some cases, racist. (I’m not throwing that word around lightly. If the shoe fits…) Dorit, just by who she is, has had a much easier road in life socially and culturally than Garcelle, and for her to try to say that she hasn’t, and to imply that her experiences have been similar to Garcelle’s, is just bullshit. “That was a learning lesson for me.” GTFO. You’ve not learned a damn thing because you don’t want to. Some things — such as words — just land differently, depending on who receives them. Shut up and learn. Remember how Sutton got her shit jumped over a well-intentioned, yet cringy, comment to Crystal? Yet Dorit gets a pass on her offensiveness. Nope. She deserves every bit of blowback for this. That was one of the more enraging scenes I can recall on any HW show because she just doesn’t get it, nor does she want to. And, oh yeah…fuck you, Dorit.

Coming in late to this, but brava to Garcelle for trying to get Dorit to see beyond her own self-centered world. “ I’m not here to educate you, I don’t have the bandwidth to do it”…none of us do, Garcelle — Dorit was acting like she was doing you a favor by listening to you. Once again, Garcelle for the win, and Dorit can STFU. EDIT. OMG. Dorit — when you’re in a hole, STOP DIGGING. Shut your mouth, listen, and learn. I love the way she turns it back to her being the victim, when her own words call her out. A learning lesson? Really? I seriously doubt it. There is latent hostility with her.

I always thought it was funny how he was always watching from the sidelines while Lisa clearly favored Schwartz and Sandy. Nobody to blame there but yourself, dude.

Not out of outrage over Ariana/Rachel, but out of pure jealousy and spite? I’d never heard of it before, only saw the commercials. Violence is always under the surface with that man.
