S11.E15: The Dinner Party from Hell: Part Two
RoseAllDay replied to jewel21's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Hah! No. The old saying that “bad publicity is better than no publicity” applies here. All she cares about is that eyes are on her. Is Court TV still a thing? I can hope. Shameless. And disgusting — because widows, orphans, and burn victims made this “great honor” possible. 🤮 She can’t get off my TV fast enough. -

If that happens, then I’m OUT. I watch these shows for entertainment — not to be subjected to one person’s self-inflicted legal problems, subsequent whining about said problems, and sucking everyone else into their drama. Erika has ruined this season. I’m hoping her off-season issues make it impossible for her to come back — I think they’re serious enough that they might. But as you said, this is Bravo, and nothing is probably too radioactive for them as long as people watch. I just won’t be one of them. -

Agreed. I didn’t especially care for Shannon on OC at first, but she grew on me. Sometimes people need another year to find their lane, and this has not been a typical Housewives season. My mind is still open to Crystal, but the first impressions haven’t been good. -

I’m still on the fence about Crystal, too. She reminds me of a junior high queen bee who picks out one kid to torment for no good reason. She may turn out to be the Howife With A Heart O’Gold, but I’ll always think of that smirk on her face when Sutton had her meltdown at Rinna’s lawn party. Everything had been leading up to that moment for Crystal. The convo at the lunch was right up her alley — judging someone’s status by whether or not you’ve heard of her. GTFOH. Most people probably never heard about Crystal until just a few weeks ago — at least I hadn’t — and I’m sure folks in Hollywood refer to her as the “wife of the guy who directed Lion King.” My point: Just because you may be known in one universe, that universe is part of a much, much bigger galaxy. So get over yourself, Crystal. -

Rewatching the DPFH Part Deux now… I think there was more than one butler there? Maybe the man has never worked at a dinner Kyle was at? Dunno. But the man had a very Michael-from-Southern Charm vibe going — maybe make him a Friend Of? 😀 Sounds like a nice (and patient) man. Dorit….I’m going to date myself here but when I saw her hairdo I flashed on Boy George on the cover of Culture Club’s first album. I’m glad the ambience met with her high standards, but was the champagne served in the right glasses? Pretentious AF. Kathy’s face when Rinna rang the bell: “Well, shit, this night is over, and we barely made it past the appetizers.” Rinna chewing her food as she watches what she started with that damn bell. And the snicker at the end of the episode. Ugh. Erika gets the “shit kicked out of her”? When she comes in to every room, chews up the scenery, and sucks out all the oxygen? By herself?? Kyle…how in the holy hell is Sutton being two-faced? All of the flashbacks back her up. Almost everything Erika has said has been shady to some extent. Her changing story about Tom, and how that seems to be their defense now, is definitely a huge, waving red flag. Kyle just wants to stay on Erika’s good side…the bully’s sidekick. -

Personally, I wouldn’t go to the expense or trouble of feeding these people. They hardly ever finish a meal, don’t appreciate the effort, and ruin the evening by bringing up stuff best talked about privately. Kathy just should have just gotten another big bag of tacos and been done with it. Maybe Ruth’s Chris. And Erika’s snarl to Garcelle really pissed me off. She’s always crying about wanting sympathy and compasssion, and when anyone tries to make an effort, she tells them to fuck off. Same to you, Erika. -

Yes, the butler did say that, and I thought Rinna’s behavior around him was just tacky. I was embarrassed for her. She was in essence making fun of someone who takes his job seriously, and mocking someone (Kathy) for wanting to make for a nice evening. What an ass — she’s not cute and she’s not funny. And didn’t Kathy politely suggest that everyone just zip it and eat, before the Erika blowup? Disrespect all around. These women might as well go eat at McDonald’s for all the class they show at these dinners. Lu on RHONY was right. -

C’mon! Have some pity on that poor woman. She lost her glam squad and has to do it all by herself. Life is hard! Just ask her! LOL. -

Garcelle is a very good listener. I’m sure she’s filed a lot of that conversation away for possible future use. In her talking head, she already called them out on their snobbish bullshit about nobody being that important and then in the next breath running down Sutton. That’s not the first time passive-aggressive Crystal has made a comment about not knowing who someone is as a way to pass judgment on them. Garcelle’s right — if it weren’t for Rob Minkoff (who I really didn’t know before this season) would anyone know or care about Crystal? Highly doubt it. People have been wondering why they’re so hard on Sutton. That scene explains it. According to them, she doesn’t belong — with them, or in Beverly Hills. And that is especially rich, coming from that grifting, social fraud Erika. (Oh, and Erika? The country club called — they revoked your membership. You aren’t their kind.) -

Where is Camille to call Erika “The morally corrupt Erika Girardi”? Erika is way overplaying her hand by trying to milk more sympathy by now throwing down threats. She may be fooling the women, but all of this can and probably will come back to bite her in her padded ass. She looked very, very, very bad. I think we saw the real Erika Jayne tonight. -

Re: Lies 1 and 2 — I think Sutton is right when she says that Tom probably cut Erika loose when things started to fall apart. But wasn’t she the one who filed for divorce? (I need to go back and watch that scene.) Why would Tom and Erika agree on a story about his accident that is so easily disproved, thanks to Erika herself? If he thinks that will be a defense, he should surrender his law license just for that. -

I don’t know about everyone else, but I enjoyed Dinner Party From Hell Part 1 a lot more than tonight’s shitshow. They should have invited the psychic with her e-cig to give Erika a reading. Erika was downright Cruella de Ville evil, right down to her footlong eyelashes. Yet she still expects people to support her no matter what — because she says so. You can tell that she gives not one damn for all the people Tom defrauded, so that she could have the privilege of being on that show and sitting at that table. Just toxic. I certainly hope karma is a thing. -

I really hate to say it, but I think it’s because they see her as still an outsider, not really a part of the exclusive BH vibe. Erika let slip with the “small town” jab. I think on some level they all think that. I find her refreshingly honest, and not pretentious, but I do question her fashion sense at times, LOL. -

They say things among themselves, and agree among themselves, but then when they get in the presence of the con artist they throw each other under the bus. 😡 Ladies…Erika is like the Wizard of Oz…looks scary until you pull back the curtain. She needs to be called out on her shit. Sutton, hold your ground and run this harpy off. -

Because she likes the attention. But with every week she’s getting worse at the “poor, poor pitiful me” routine, probably because more of the truth is coming to the surface. She’s angry and defensive. And hateful. How she can still intimidate some at that table into defending her is maddening. She is in the weakest position of everyone there, as most bullies are in most situations. -

And of course, Kyle and Rinna are now turning on Sutton. Erika, you did at least lie about Tom’s injury…it’s on tape, for God’s sake! -

Just when I think I can’t despise Erika more than I already do… Full-on bitch and bully on display at this dinner. Really, they should all just walk away from her, especially after the threat about remembering who was with her or against her. She deserves no sympathy. None. Tired of this con hijacking every damn episode with her shit. -

Erika Girardi/Erika Jayne: Let them eat cake
RoseAllDay replied to ryebread's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
She’ll most likely do what a lot of them have done when their seat gets a little too hot. She’ll get all indignant and then leave. (If that happens, I hope they get reaction shots of Garcelle and Sutton.) I can’t imagine her answering anything related to the case, anyway. (At least I hope she’s learned that lesson.) When are they taping the reunion? I would think Erika’s degree of radioactivity will determine the level of Andy’s groveling. -

They weren’t friends — they were paid staff. Loyalty only goes as far as the money. Actually, with some exceptions, I think Erika looks better without all the get-ups. She’s really just ordinary looking, IMO, as she was before Tom. Speaking of the glam squad…I wonder what tales good old Mikey can tell?
