  1. TBH her first year I didn't really see the beauty because her hair was SO BLONDE for her skin tone. And her makeup was super dark and not blended properly. Second go around was much better for her, at least in terms of appearance. Dancing, not so much.
  2. I think she's one where she's photogenic, especially when caught at the right angle, but not telegenic. A lot of her cameos and swimsuit shots were good because they took so many and filtered through to get the best ones, but she never looked great on the show because it's real-time, unedited, and a moving camera that can't only get your good angles.
  3. It's a pic of her profile on SeekingArangement, under the name "Blonde Bella Barbie." Member since October 2019, so at least this profile didn't exist while she was on the team.
  4. My faves are Kelcey, Erin, and Amber! I feel like Amber is overlooked quite a bit but she's an incredible dancer and is super powerful, especially for being so petite. Erin is obviously gorgeous, but she's also had one of the most successful comeback stories in recent history and for some reason that was totally glossed over. And Kelcey is probably my favorite overall because she just looks effortlessly natural with everything - she doesn't overdo her hair or her makeup, she isn't stick thin, she has great power without losing her technique, and her smile is gorgeous! She also has my favorite cameo headshot of the year. #girlcrush
  5. Thanks for giving the time of the full dance! After watching just that I was very underwhelmed. Even if the choreography is aimed at beginners, you should still put effort into the execution, and she didn't really use her facials or have any power, placement, or precision behind her moves. I'm also surprised by her appearance a little bit - not upset, since I appreciate seeing the DCC girls dressed down and looking like normal people, but we so rarely see it because "the girls always have to look their best" and a full dance video with hair in a bun, almost no makeup, and a baggy top and shorts is not DCC style.
  6. I was thinking of her last night, obviously, but she was also called in to talk with Kitty and K&J along with Allie and got emotional as soon as they asked if she would reaudition should she be cut that year. She was also pretty upset the two years prior when she was cut at auditions. Maybe emotional was the wrong word for it, but I think she just invested a little too much into DCC and would have gone crazy worrying about all of the expectations on her through the year and whether or not she would be benched or get cut or something. Agree with Maddie's kicks! There are some where it's mentioned maybe once and then never again on the show even though they never really improve - I think I've mentioned Ashley N from S8 before on this topic, Christina's never got much better after her rookie year either, and so on.
  7. Link provided on the image doesn't work - get it together SM team! Here's a link I found giving details: https://dallascowboyscheerleaders.com/news/dcc-auditions-intensive-prep-class/ They've also got four audition prep class videos available, $25 each. Jazz taught by Amy, Jazz Pom taught by Rachel W and McKenzie, and Kicks taught by Alora Rose. Didn't actually buy them, so I'm not sure how good they are - if someone is interested enough to buy one let us know all the details!
  8. Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I really wasn't a fan of Amy. I didn't dislike her, but I didn't think she should've made the team, especially as a 38th team member that year. She reminds me of Shelbi in S10 or Malena, where she's super intense and emotional to the point that I worry about her ability to handle the emotional stress of being on the team. Combine that with low kicks, a bad memory, and a lack of fluidity, and I honestly don't think she should've gotten half as far as she did in TC.
  9. Love that Dani is the only one who knows how to do a proper calypso leap lol
  10. I think it's because she has smaller eyes and the dark makeup doesn't help her.
  11. Right, but at what point in the year do we normally see a table for the new season? Is it normal for a table to be up with only confirmed returners at some point?
  12. Wikipedia now also has a table for the 2021-2022 squad with confirmed returners listed. Interesting...is this something that always happens? I would think that whoever updates the page (with legit info) would wait until auditions to put that stuff in.
  13. Someone is having waaaaaaay too much fun with this...
  14. Good point...in that case I'm going to keep crossing my fingers for Dani to get ROTY!
  15. Yay for Dani! She's probably my favorite rookie, so I'm really glad she got that recognition. I'm happy for Savannah too - I know she's been upset the last few years about not making SG and hopefully this makes her feel a little better. I wonder if she might follow in Angela's footsteps and come back purely to try and make SG? Savannah also may want to go for a GL/2GL role too, she probably didn't like that as a 4th year she didn't get any leadership positions.
  16. I hope she's retiring but she might not. She may want to finish out her DCC years with a proper football season where she gets to dance on the field (and maybe have a chance at ProBowl too). If I remember correctly, Cassie's surgery was in the February/March region too, right? She managed another year after that, although she clearly struggled throughout the season, so that shows that her injury and surgery don't guarantee a retirement. For her sake though, I feel like she should retire so she doesn't do any permanent damage.
  17. Agreed! Last year was weird since there wasn't any "finals," and Meredith would have most likely been cut then. Possibly Lily and Kat too depending on their solos. If they have a proper finals this year, then handle the vet cuts early and then only cut a vet in TC if absolutely necessary (like a Jenna/Holly situation).
  18. I can't remember her name, but there was a girl who dropped out of TC this last year for COVID-related reasons and would supposedly get a pass this year. Does anyone know how that's going to work? Does she go straight into TC? Join the vets at finals? (Also her name, because I cannot for the life of me remember.)
  19. It's funny, in some lighting and with some makeup I thought it looked like a super dark, chocolate brown and it really did make her eyes and skin look gorgeous, and then in other situations it looked kind of faded and muddy and not that great.
  20. I vote for ankle boots, they make everyone's legs look great! Although then Kelly would start complaining about "cankles" wouldn't she.
  21. RaeLynn is adorable and a great country artist, but she was not a good choice to bring into a practice. Aside from when she was asked a specific question, all of her comments (at least the ones shown) were about trivial things, like Christina's hair and Lauren's abs, and never about the actual dancing.
  22. Do you know of any other confirmed returners that haven't been mentioned here?
  23. I wonder if you could use their CORE test results to figure it out. Commander, organizer, relater, entertainer - not sure how Slytherin comes into play, but I feel that someone who is primarily a commander would lean towards Gryffindor, and someone who identifies as an organizer might be more of a Ravenclaw, that sort of things.
  24. Here's the thing: I'd love to know who it is, but at the same time I have next to no connection with any of the new rookies. We barely saw them at games, they weren't allowed to post anything until the show finished airing IN JANUARY, and the show itself focused so much on struggling (or not really but supposedly struggling) vets that we didn't get to fall in love with any of them. So whoever it is, I won't be super sad that one of my favorites is apparently toxic, or secretly thrilled that someone I don't like might get kicked off due to attitude. But I'd still love to know!
