I'm watching season 9 right now and just saw Erica's introduction. Her child/teen picture look so much like Erica who was called out for dancing in a younger age group on Dance Moms! I know DCC Erica grew up in Texas and is a little older than that Erica would've been, but every time I see those pictures I feel like it's the same person...

I have a feeling she'll be stronger this year. I remember Amy saying that she felt she would be much stronger upon completing her college years and I think she's graduating this year? Not sure though. So I'm hopeful!

I think it's less age and more life experience. If you've gone to college, especially farther away from home, you grow a lot. But once you get into late 20s/early 30s, a lot of women will want to get married and start a family, which isn't easy to do when you're a professional cheerleader. I'd say ladies right out of college are the best candidates as far as having enough life experience while still being flexible enough in life and fit enough to handle DCC. Although I graduated from college at 19 and a lot of people would still consider that too young, so what do I know.

Watching season 8 and wondering how the hell Ashley Nicole made it with her kicks. And then managed to make show group the next two years. The only time her kicks were mentioned was at finals, then nothing, and it's not like they got amazingly better over the years.

The Packers actually use the University of Wisconsin cheerleaders, so it's not a professional team. (NGL I looked into it because I'm moving to WI in a few months and was considering trying out...sad face)

Not sure if this is at all related, but I remember she was shown as having problems with her knee at the end of TC 2019 on MTT, maybe it's a recurring injury? I don't keep up with the girls' SM so if it's a recent injury I wouldn't know. Frankly, I think she should retire after this year, purely because it's not going to get much better for her. She's group 1 leader, she kinda got demoted as far as which part of point she danced in the promo video, she's been on SG for five years, there's not a whole lot she's missing aside from PBC, and quite frankly I don't think she has the eloquence to be picked for that. Also, there's a decent chance the cheerleaders will be back on the field doing their normal kickline and jumpsplit next year, and trying to do that six months after surgery could be really dangerous.

In her bio, Alora Rose didn't say anything about being an Ultra Angel. All she mentioned was the Rockettes and then "dancing on many stages around the world." I wonder if she was encouraged to avoid that or if she did so on her own, since it's pretty clear K&J only care about her being a Rockette.

Neither stood out to me in TCC, neither stands out in a group shot, I don't love their cameos...meh. 5: I think she's very pretty, especially the way she did her hair for cameos. It looked awful during TCC though.

It always surprises me too, but at the same time I kind of understand it. Once you know what you're doing they really aren't bad, but you should really have someone walk you through the technique for it when you first try it. I'd prefer the girls come in having never done it before than having tried it on their own and injured themselves. I sincerely hope they do more teaching than what they do on the show... Class of 2017! I'm a baby apparently...

I don't see the front row of the girls in standard view, but I can if I go to the developer view. Firefox doesn't show the girls' cameos beneath the squad photo but Chrome does. And those cameos are not formatted correctly, they're all different sizes so some of the girls appear much smaller/bigger than the others on the row. Savannah in particular is tiny compared to the rest of her row. And what's with the rookies all being at the bottom and all the vets being ordered alphabetically? Either do it all by year or all alphabetical, but don't mix it up.

Words that are way overused on this show and that I absolutely hate: Heartbreaking Devestating Nerve-wracking Any additions?

LOL pretty sure I just saw it, that's not a good look. On a similar note, why do they do so much booty-popping in the first place? Don't the judges always comment on the girls that just do twerking at auditions? Well newsflash, you have your cheerleaders do the same thing and it rarely, if ever, looks good.

I pretty much expected that - if that weren't the case, there wouldn't be such obvious differences in the ways the girls answered the questions (full sentences versus phrases, ending punctuation, conversational vs. professional tone, etc.). However, while the cheerleaders would ideally not be making any spelling or grammatical mistakes, it is up to the social media team to make sure that they are presenting content that has been proofread and approved. A world-class organization does not post "colleg" no matter if the girl wrote that or not. If it was the cheerleaders posting on their own websites or social media pages, then I would absolutely expect them to go over their content and check for mistakes, but this is on the social media team.

Is there any way to actually navigate to these pages from the website? Looking on the "Our Team" page I don't see any link to these bios.

I think this makes it really clear that MRS is basing all of her opinions off the show. Had she even said, "Hannah's telling a different story than what really happened," then maybe we'd be wondering if we missed something, or if MRS had a private conversation with Hannah, but no. She's just saying something that doesn't go along with the narrative written by the show, and DUH that's edited as hell! She clearly has no validity to any of her points and she just felt like she had to throw in her two cents, but she doesn't know what actually happened (or she does and is just doing damage control) and is just saying what everyone has been saying since the episode aired - Hannah says there's more to the story than what was shown.

I'll take the job! It's not even that hard, unless they're writing everything for the website in HTML from scratch, but I doubt it. And even that isn't too bad, HTML is a pretty easy language to learn, and it's not like they've got anything super fancy that requires integration with a large database.

I have a feeling that she'll be the next Maddie, where she stays as long as she possibly can and tries to get every award and position possible. And with her being only one year behind Victoria, she may need to wait quite a while to get point or GL1.

I'm not sure it was specifically show group, since Armani was there and she's not a show group member, but some of the girls were in the Salvation Army Christmas video. It was posted in the Auditions thread.

I feel like I remember her getting corrections on her kicks as well. She would throw her head and neck into it and wasn't very controlled - possibly a contributing factor to her cut?

That's really not a good picture of Victoria. Her hair looks overly processed and like it ends at her shoulders and her figure does not look good, especially when compared to Madeline's. Frankly, the quality of the picture, and the girls specifically, makes me almost think they were Photoshopped into the picture from another shot that was maybe a group shot or further away. But I don't know that she could recreate that reflection, so maybe not?
