I agree 100%! From the set to the decorated desserts, not springy!

A bunch of thoughts! I think Duff or another baker should have to make the assigned cake in the given time before they decide to use a challenge. There is no way someone could make a legit Minecraft cake in the time given and it showed in ALL of the cakes. If they had to do Minecraft, then why not have pairs make one cake? And I expected the portal to be something that would connect the cakes, more like a tunnel. So far, I like the bakers. They seem like a nice bunch. And kudos to Nancy for rocking the Minecraft hairstyle! Unpopular opinion here, but I like Nancy! In my previous post, I said the set seemed like fall, now I'm thinking it seems like Halloween with the dark gray streaked walls. Maybe I just need something light and cheery!

I don't like the set for this season of Spring Baking Championship. It looks more fall to me...not at all springy!

Manny seems like a nice guy so I'm okay with him winning. However, did anyone else think his vampire looked more like a T-Rex?

One of the judges, I think Duff, commented something about how the lines on Steven's cake could've been cleaner! I was thinking, did you not just see the "lines" on the previous two cakes? I can't believe the judges didn't really ding Nikki and Robert for not making stained glass!

Did anyone see the episode with the couple buying in Beaufort, SC? Was the house they bought (the pink one) a condo or a house? It looked huge on the outside but the inside wasn't that big.

I thought giving Natalie the advantage in the preheat because she came in last the week before was really unfair. And then she got first pick of the insects. Of course she stuck Derek with the spider, the hardest one! Spiders are more for fall and aren’t even insects!

I like Derek. He might’ve had a miss tonight with that thick pink stuff, but I have a feeling that the judges have turned on him. They seem to gush on the ladies and forgive a lot of their mistakes.

I didn’t like this challenge. One reason is because everyone was yelling to each other. And I don’t like the host.

I saw an episode with a young couple moving to Amsterdam (I think). They would be there for a few years for his job. What stood out was that snippy realtor. The wife wanted two bedrooms which I didn’t think was unreasonable considering how small they were. In the one bedroom apt, the room was so small, all that was in there was the bed and it about touched the walls. Anyway back to the realtor. I thought she was rude with her snide comments directed at the wife.

I watched Danielle and Bobby on their season and am hearing that a lot of people now can’t stand Bobby. Guess I missed why. Anyone fill me in?

Brandon came in wearing his work clothes after possibly spraying poison and sat on the bed! Yuck!

How do they have so much money? They can’t possibly be only spending what they first said was their budget, can they?! I forget what it was but it seemed way out of proportion to the size of the job based on what I’ve seen on the many renovation shows I watch!

My hair is 100% straight, fine in texture, and now that I’m older, thinning. My best “hair days” were the Mid 70s when I was in high school and the straighter, the better! I envy anyone with natural curls.

Wouldn’t Brandon make enough money doing full time pest control to afford a small apartment for the two them? Also, the dad frightens me
