do you guys think lisa is actually gonna make it back next season? i wasn't sure even before the show was cancelled, whereas, if the show were still going on, i'd feel like they'd be less willing to cut a vet onscreen (especially bc it was due to just injury) after the blowback they got last time + all the love and rainbows vibes of last season, BUT we witness vets coming back after breaks SO rarely that i can't imagine it actually happening. i can see victoria, of course, being the rare exception in this case. but for both of them to be back...idk. if we were able to see training camp, i could see them pulling a 'we have two strong vets coming back but with all the amazing new talent and more recent DCC we just don't have room for both—this is the most talented rookie class we've EVER had' etc regarding lisa, someone on reddit said something along the lines of TPTB not wanting to look backward, and i totally echo that. especially considering her slightly non-DCC look and the fact she didn't seem very popular with fans or her teammates anyway i feel like the team is a lot blonder, younger, "all-american" (cringe) now and has become so in just the past 2 years, even though there are probably the most black girls on the team at once they've ever had (yas) also completely unrelated but i just realized no one ever mentions ashlinn in any context and i forgot she was on the team lol

Did they even comment on Allie's weight? I can't even remember what the actual cut reason was, at least what they said on tv

Just caught the final episode of season 14 and wow, I forgot that Alanna roomed with and encouraged/supported/mentored Lily. Lily was crying talking about how lovely Alanna was to her, and then I started crying too, lmao. Alanna has always seemed like such an amazing friend and wonderful person. Underrated queen And this clip reaffirmed my fondness of Lily. She seems like such a sweet, sweet soul. Sad that she was cut after this but I hope she's really happy where she is Something about season 14 (even though I find Meredith and Kat super annoying) is really likable to me—it's so...HD? We get to see a lot of dancing? Charm? Idk. But whatever it was was lost in the next two seasons, due to Covid and otherwise

what a generous interpretation haha if she were undereating i doubt they'd care (i mean, she was thin but not like...sickly looking) + didn't they imply she had a problem with weighing too much? didn't she herself imply that? i will never get over how absurd it was to see brittany schram called into the office for weight issues honestly same with chelsea...yes she was mediocre as all hell but she had visible abs and looked completely fine weight wise. that's so weird to me

honestly the taylor audition is still odd to me because it's not like you'd cut someone based on a 'one-day' audition—there's just not enough to assess, yeah? so i feel like it goes the other way, like, is one day enough to prove you should get your spot back? i mean i'm sure they'd never have cut her anyway, but i find it kind of annoying lol. but i'm biased because i feel like taylor is super boring and isn't she bffs with kelli's daughter?

It is so unbelievably idiotic to be like, "You're her height so you need to be exactly her weight." What the actual...it's embarrassing, truly. And EXACTLY—blah blah blah custom uniform blah blah blah. Just ignoring the fact height =/= build, body composition, amount of muscle...just embarrassing So stupid and arbitrary. Vivian's first season in TC made me so mad—she was rock hard muscle, but she wasn't a twig, so they told her she needed to lose exactly 9 pounds to be where other girls her height were. Kelli literally even said, "I can't think of any healthy reason to say lose weight." So you admit it? You admit your standards are ridiculous?

As a 26-year-old woman...I totally agree, especially regarding the younger ones. Aren't Jensen and Kleine engaged at, like, 21? Come on. I thought I wanted to get married to the boyfriend I had at 23, and it all seems so silly now lmao. We're still together, but I'm glad I didn't jump the gun. It's just so young. So much can change. This isn't, like, real life? Right now they're young, they're hot, and their job is being a cheerleader. You have, like, no real responsibilities...it's just like playing house, playing adult...they're basically still kids. With Kristin, it makes a little more sense—I think she's 28. But I don't think her guy is good enough for her, either lol :/
