Yes, I love the specials too. The last few years, they make the Christmas special an end of the season special which works just as well. I am really sad when the specials are over though. It's been a good season, but this special ranks highly for me. It reminds me of the Africa and Vietnam special. I really loved how nice the locals seemed to be and James responded by being more "Buddhist". It was cute when his lorry got a nudge from a local road worker.

I agree the show lost a lot when Richard died. I've been indifferent to Nucky and most of the characters for awhile now. It's the right decision, and I will tune in to see how my remaining favourite characters fare.

I'm cautiously optimistic about EBay. I watch a lot of shows for acting and chemistry, and honestly, Vanessa and Sean had some mad chemistry. I don't even ship that much, but they always sell their OTPness to me. Bay only started dating Tank when she realized she could lose his friendship and he was a total rebound after Ty. I am also glad Toby decided to take a crazy trip. He's young and he needs some self-discovery through travel. I think everyone saw the signs of his marriage/relationship failing. He was always the one making compromises and sacrifices for her. He practically gave up his music for her. Anyway, I'm glad that plot is over and Gabreel was able to showcase his talent. Furthermore, John's sweetness as a father in that scene almost killed me. I don't think you see that kind of father/son scene in TV that often.
