  1. Does anyone remember which episode was it when a socialite was blocking Samantha from enterting restaurants because she slept with her husband, and Samantha went to apologize?
  2. This is really interesting. It reminds me of something that happened to me a few weeks ago, where I bought a mouse for my laptop and took it back the next day because it did not work well. When I returned it, the girl at the desk didn't check inside the box or ask many questions, she just processed the request immediately. I assumed they do it this way because customer satisfaction is more important than getting 1 sale on a particular product.
  3. The running bit with her was so funny. It would have been great if they expanded on it in one last post-credits/final scene or something. It's such a random detail to notice about her filmography.
  4. To build on @auntiemel 's great comment, the show "I'm Sorry" is a true hidden gem. S3 is currently being shot and it will air later this year, I think people who like B99 have a high chance of liking that show too because both show have a similiar sense of humor, specially in the aspect of the show where Jake sometimes makes these random throw-away comments where he doesn't expect anyone to respond to them. Maybe consider giving "I'm Sorry" a shot if you are looking for a new comedy to watch. It reallly is funny.
  5. In Jill's defense: salmon toast is friggin' awesome. Yum!
  6. It happened in season 5 episode 11 "The Favor". It's well-worth a re-watch, it's so funny.
  7. I really liked that father - daughter storyline in this episode, and how after a while Joanna expected her dad to tag along with her on her dates. It was nice how he comforted her, the whole thing was very sweet. Dating really is hard and it can take a toll on you when you have one bad date afterr the other.
  8. It was just renewed a few days ago for another season so at least for another year.
  9. I am heartbroken. This show was just so amazing. There will never be anything else like it.
  10. That reminded me of the episode where Charles kept referring to The Godfather as a Diane Keaton movie and he defined the members of the characters in the movie by their relationship to Diane Keaton. It was so funny how Jake found it frustrating while Captain Holt thought it was helpful.
  11. Watching Delia crumble under the pressure of having to support her husband was kinda entertaining...poor her. I was glad when she stood up for herself and was honest...communication an important part of any relationship.
  12. Bonnie's "Sounds like it was cursed" line was so clever and hilarious 🀣 Margerie looked just stunning at her "date", that red color really works on her. I felt sorry for her when she was disappointed, but the "I'm fine being alone. I'm like you in that way" line was clever because it's so untrue. Last week's episode showed us just how desperate Christy is to find a man.
  13. I'm glad Carol got suspended, it is more realistic that way. I need a day like Garrett’s day off 😭
  14. I love how much of a badass Charles is this season. He deserves some shine! Also, the β€œYou can’t keep saying mischief managed every time we finish sex" line was hilarious. 🀣
  15. I wonder if Stevie knew what she was getting into when she agreed to go for "drinks". She spent a lot more time with Jake than David so this might not be her first rodeo.
  16. Ronnie and Roland repeteatedly roasting Johnny together was so good! It reminded me of the comedy roast episode which was also a great one. I love storylines like this because the dialouge is always so sharp and it lets the writers really shine. Also, they better not break Alexis, her poor heart! My sweet cinnamon roll must be protected.
  17. You are so right. And the scenes with just Abishola and Bob are the gold of the series because they really have something special on screen. I think we see little of just the two of them interacting because if them being together took up more screen time of the episodes their relationship would progress a lot faster and the show would be over in like 12 episodes with them getting married / maybe getting a child.
  18. I liked the exploration of Abishola's approach to emotions and how the way she was raised up alters how she expresses herself. Many people find it hard to say those 3 magic words. The part with Olu and Tunde not wanting to say the word "love" to each other was hilarious. πŸ˜„ They are such a good match.
  19. Marty's sly trick with the mail was adorable, I liked his delivery on the line of not being interested in a felon πŸ˜„ . And his Chandler impresson was so good! Could this BE any better? I was surprised by how insecure Calvin was about finding out everyone's opinions about him, he usually has such strong convictions about believing that he is right and the opinion of others does not really matter. But I totally did not see the twist with Tina coming, that was a really cool plotline and I liked how they flipped it yet again towards the end.
  20. Mitch. The actor has been really branching out in recent years I have seen him in so many series and movies as well.
  21. I actually forgot why Holt is demoted too, so I re-watched the last episode of the previous season. Looks like it's his own fault: he let it slip to Madeline Wuncth that he only spent 1 month as a patrol officer before making detective, and that is against regulations because it has to be at least a year. So she sent him back to the lowest rank to do his time, and when the 1 year expires he can go back to being a captain.
  22. I feel like this show relies too much on stereotypes, like the grandparents being flat-earthers just because they are old. But the moment when the oldest kid wanted to pierce his grandpa's throat was genuinely funny. I also liked when Maggie Lawson's character managed to get along with the grandma because you could tell it was important to her.
  23. I thought Christie's storyline was so charming in this episode. I never saw a person bribe someone with an egg-white omelette with bacon and cheddar cheese before 🀣
