  1. This episode was perfect the whole way through. It was all the conversations I never knew I needed. Both Johnny/Patrick and Moira/David, even the Roland/Johnny convo at the beginning, was perfect. And it also demonstrated one of my favorite aspects of the show: Long term relationships still filled with love. So often in TV and movies, you have long term couples who can’t stand each other. Especially when it comes to “opposites attract” type couples, there is even a “I love you but I don’t like you” even when they start. I love that Moira and Johnny (and even Roland and Jocelyn) love each other and like each other. I love that they can show this long term love while never making everything look easy, and fake. Moira’s comment about even though Johnny and Patrick’s notes are more subtle doesn’t mean they require any less attention, really illustrates that point.
  2. It was one of the best episodes yet. Both funny and informative. Tunde & Olu have a great dynamic with Dottie. All their scenes together are entertaining,
  3. It's clear he's been somewhat depressed for years but he accepts it as normal, he does not recognize it as a problem. He has been hating his job since day 1 and he always just looks for ways to slack off and get paid for it.
  4. LoL, Gemma's aunt dressing up her cats for the holidays was such a cool one-line joke and Tina's reaction to it was perfect. Even though it's been done before, Calvin entering the house in that mask just when his children were watching a horror movie was so funny! I loved Marty's over the top reaction haha.
  5. I like Tunde's exasperated "Oh, Bob!" when Bob says the wrong thing, Tunde said it in the exact same way in the episode where Abishola's son told her that he wants to be a dancer and it's always funny. The episodes really must be shown out of order if Bob said his relationship with Abishola was still in it's early stages, when last week he told her he's in love (Plus it seems like he never left his job). I liked that the show adressed the issues many people have with their relationship, that yes they are very different, but Abishola and Bob do make each other happy and were miserable without each other.
  6. Zoey's kinda mean way too overconfident neighbor "friend" is not likeable. It is grating to watch her be bitchy again and again to perfectly polite Zoey. It was funny when Zoey's boss shot down the idea of "crazy hat day" before she even suggested it 😄 Why would she even think that was a good idea.
  7. Does anyone remember which episode was it when a socialite was blocking Samantha from enterting restaurants because she slept with her husband, and Samantha went to apologize?
  8. This is really interesting. It reminds me of something that happened to me a few weeks ago, where I bought a mouse for my laptop and took it back the next day because it did not work well. When I returned it, the girl at the desk didn't check inside the box or ask many questions, she just processed the request immediately. I assumed they do it this way because customer satisfaction is more important than getting 1 sale on a particular product.
  9. The running bit with her was so funny. It would have been great if they expanded on it in one last post-credits/final scene or something. It's such a random detail to notice about her filmography.
  10. To build on @auntiemel 's great comment, the show "I'm Sorry" is a true hidden gem. S3 is currently being shot and it will air later this year, I think people who like B99 have a high chance of liking that show too because both show have a similiar sense of humor, specially in the aspect of the show where Jake sometimes makes these random throw-away comments where he doesn't expect anyone to respond to them. Maybe consider giving "I'm Sorry" a shot if you are looking for a new comedy to watch. It reallly is funny.
  11. In Jill's defense: salmon toast is friggin' awesome. Yum!
  12. It happened in season 5 episode 11 "The Favor". It's well-worth a re-watch, it's so funny.
  13. I really liked that father - daughter storyline in this episode, and how after a while Joanna expected her dad to tag along with her on her dates. It was nice how he comforted her, the whole thing was very sweet. Dating really is hard and it can take a toll on you when you have one bad date afterr the other.
  14. It was just renewed a few days ago for another season so at least for another year.
  15. I am heartbroken. This show was just so amazing. There will never be anything else like it.
  16. That reminded me of the episode where Charles kept referring to The Godfather as a Diane Keaton movie and he defined the members of the characters in the movie by their relationship to Diane Keaton. It was so funny how Jake found it frustrating while Captain Holt thought it was helpful.
  17. Watching Delia crumble under the pressure of having to support her husband was kinda entertaining...poor her. I was glad when she stood up for herself and was honest...communication an important part of any relationship.
  18. Bonnie's "Sounds like it was cursed" line was so clever and hilarious 🤣 Margerie looked just stunning at her "date", that red color really works on her. I felt sorry for her when she was disappointed, but the "I'm fine being alone. I'm like you in that way" line was clever because it's so untrue. Last week's episode showed us just how desperate Christy is to find a man.
  19. I'm glad Carol got suspended, it is more realistic that way. I need a day like Garrett’s day off 😭
  20. I love how much of a badass Charles is this season. He deserves some shine! Also, the “You can’t keep saying mischief managed every time we finish sex" line was hilarious. 🤣
  21. I wonder if Stevie knew what she was getting into when she agreed to go for "drinks". She spent a lot more time with Jake than David so this might not be her first rodeo.
  22. Ronnie and Roland repeteatedly roasting Johnny together was so good! It reminded me of the comedy roast episode which was also a great one. I love storylines like this because the dialouge is always so sharp and it lets the writers really shine. Also, they better not break Alexis, her poor heart! My sweet cinnamon roll must be protected.
  23. You are so right. And the scenes with just Abishola and Bob are the gold of the series because they really have something special on screen. I think we see little of just the two of them interacting because if them being together took up more screen time of the episodes their relationship would progress a lot faster and the show would be over in like 12 episodes with them getting married / maybe getting a child.
