  1. I don't like that episode cause of Sophia's behavior. She was downright horrible to Dorothy which I don't understand why Dorothy didn't let Sophia go run off to live w/Gloria. Sophia keeps saying Gloria is her favorite one. She doesn't mind Stan (who she strongly dislikes apparently) sleeping w/Gloria and hooked them up in that episode. Also snickered with Gloria with teasing Dorothy about Dorothy's ears when she gets mad and being a substitute teacher. When Dorothy was rubbing it in how Gloria has no money Sophia doesn't like Dorothy teasing Gloria but doesn't mind Gloria doing it to Dorothy. Ugh.
  2. The episode War Buddy I believe it's called. The guy that was going to scam Rose out of money. If Charlie showed this guy numerous photos of Rose like he claimed then why did he confuse Sophia for Rose? He had to be a bad con man because why would he think Rose would be sitting on a pile of cash long after Charlie's death and he should've been tipped off that she didn't have a lot of money de to the fact that she's living w/roommates. People have roommates to hopefully save money. If I was to choose six episodes to show: 1. Grab That Dough 2. Goodbye Mr. Gordon 3. Scared Straight 4. A Little Romance 5. Accurate Conception 6. Henny Penny
  3. I'm wondering how Rose who for the most part is nice and giving could raise two bratty daughters in Kirsten and Bridget? Bridget snubbed her nose at Michael cause he wasn't in college and Kirsten bratty behavior when she found out about the inheritance she was being bratty and at the hospital how she treated Dorothy & Blanche. Don't know if she disciplined them enough but with the rest of the girl's children their personalities made sense.
  4. Plus they act like politicians are innocent people, especially Dorothy with that whole "He's a married man" so what? Stan was married and didn't stop him. Dorothy should have at least given Blanche the benefit of the doubt since the Elliot thing and Blanche telling them that she doesn't sleep with married men. They could have at least had either Rose or Dorothy be on the fence on whether or not to believe Blanche, but no they both had to be against her. Like when Rose was torn between Blanche & Dorothy during the Elliot story. Blanche told her Elliot made a pass at her and told Dorothy to confront him about Blanche's accusation.
  5. It seems that Dorothy has the worst continuity errors. Another one of Dorothy errors or never elaborated on is when Dorothy is trying to buy Frank Sinatra tickets. While on the phone she says that before the concert Stan asked for a divorce and how he got the tickets and she got the house. So why did Dorothy need to move in with Blanche? She has a house in her name, so what did she do with it? Did she give it to Michael or Kate to live in? Sell it? Foreclosed on? Sell it back to Stan which I doubt she did since she was still angry with him about the divorce. Sell it to keep Sophia in Shady Pines? Her prom story is back and forth. One moment Phil was her date to the prom, John Neretti stood her up for the prom, or she was in the attic slow dancing with a rake. Now maybe one of these was the junior prom so maybe one happened in the 11th grade and the other happened during her senior year in HS. How did they get back to Miami from Hollywood after being on Grab That Dough? Their purses was stolen and they said they won nothing on the show if we're to believe Sophia & Rose turned down the $100 each they won. The show didn't provide airline tickets.
  6. I really can't stand the way Blanche & Dorothy treated Rose during the episode when Holly visited. They couldn't believe that Rose had a sibling rivalry even though Blanche & Dorothy have/had sibling rivalries with their respective sisters. They know Rose gets along with everyone so for her to say she hates her sister should be a flag for them. They even said they would be there for Rose and help her while Holly visited and boy did that change just because they had fun with Holly. Red flags were all over the place like excluding Rose out of things and when Rose said they can meet up after a concert and Holly says "Okay" like I really don't want you around me Rose. Especially Dorothy acting like Rose is crazy for even being suspicious of Holly but turns around and thinks Blanche isn't being suspicious enough of Gary cancelling their date. Them making Rose too stupid especially while dating the Cheeseman episode with her not getting the phone call and red flag should have went off when he kept wanting to know information about Miles. If someone you're dating keeps asking about your ex it's not a good sign. Charlie's war buddy episode is rather boring but no red flags registered early for these ladies when Buddy confused Sophia for Rose. He should know what Rose looks like since he said Charlie carried photos of Rose.
  7. Blanche admitted to exaggerating her sex stories so I can see her doing it for the two most important men in her life being Big Daddy & George. She made them both sound a little too perfect but we all know that Blanche didn't have a perfect childhood or marriage. She even called both her parents trash. Big Daddy cheated on Blanche's mother with Viola Watkins and Blanche's former friend Cathy. In the first season Blanche told a story about Virginia breaking the star on their Christmas tree and blamed Blanche and Blanche was punished and blamed for ruining Christmas or something like that. The only thing Blanche said bad about her mother is that she accepted an El Dorado as a gift for Big Daddy cheating with Cathy. So don't really know the full extent of Blanche's relationship with her mother but had to be strained since Blanche ran away on multiple occasions one to be with Phillipe a tortured painter a.k.a. house painter. Dropped out of school at 15 to be a magician's assistant, ran off at age 16 to get married to a gas station attendant, at 17 ran off to New York and was a Rockette under an alias, and faked her death. So Blanche doing all this seemed like she didn't get much attention from her parents. It seemed that the ignore trait passed onto Blanche as she had a strained relationship with all her children and had the maid raise them more than her. She also had strained relationships with Virginia and Charmaine. George cheated on her with David's mother but didn't meet George under good circumstances as she was engaged to someone else when she met George at a party. She sent her fiance off to get something to drink so she could dance with George. George didn't seem to mind or didn't know she was engaged and danced with her anyway. In Blanche's dream George said that his business partner was trying to frame him for embezzling so he had to run off but since a dream don't know how much of that is true. It seems to explain her promiscuity. Blanche seem to be looking for love but nobody was ever going to fill the void of love that Big Daddy & George left behind cause she only chased after shallow men who only liked her for her looks and any man that wanted more like Jake, John Quinn, the veteran/pharmacy guy (don't blame Blanche in regards to him), the guy who had a heart attack, she pushed away.
  8. IDK how much is cut out in the reruns but after Yvonne introduces herself and tries to get them to buy the $85 shoes, Rose declines and leaves leaving Blanche & Dorothy and Yvonne goes on about what they all will need like the aerobic outfits, wristbands, etc.
  9. This was a flashback episode when they were figuring out ways to lose weight. Rose was the smart one when she didn't let Yvonne manipulate her into buying all those items for weight loss. Just stuck with her sweats and PF Flyers. Don't know how Dorothy & Blanche fell for Yvonne's sales pitch with the whole aerobic suits, warm up outfits, headbands, legwarmers, wristbands. $85 for some plain white ugly shoes and at a bargain price? Girl you better get out of my face with that. I don't see a Michael Jordan or Nike logo on them. Would've been like Rose and said no. Then after she said they needed water bottles and new gym bags, at that point I would have just left. Plus when Dorothy & Blanche were taking out the clothes before putting it on they didn't see how odd the clothes looked for working out. Looked like the other ladies at the gym didn't fall for buying it either.
  10. Yes, he gave Jon from S11 a job working for him. Jon first worked under S10 winner Christina as a sous chef for Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris in Las Vegas and now he's an Executive Chef in the Gordon Ramsay North America Group. Jon is the only non-winner to work for Ramsay I believe.
  11. I was rooting for Steve to at least make F3 but shutting down is just never good and if you ever say to GR that "he can teach you" it's the nail in the coffin. It's something you never want to say when put up for elimination. When Steve said it I knew he was eliminated. I'm rooting for Megan to win it all even though she doesn't get much screen time and guess TPTB can't get any drama out of her. She's there to win and has been professional and did a great job at spotting the sabotages. Trenton & Kiya are just a little too immature w/Kiya breaking down like that and crying doubt she's going to win. GR isn't really a fan of breaking down and crying and can only imagine what it will be like if she worked in GR's restaurant and the pressure gets to be too much she may breakdown again. Trenton too arrogant and that tuna thing was a big WTF even when GR was spelling it out it was jut as bad as Jeremy in S11 who couldn't repeat the order when GR was repeating it to him right in his face. I can't stand the whole I'm from (insert state here) I never seen it before. Just as bad as if you're Italian you should know how to cook Italian food from scratch, etc.
  12. IDK how much of an act it is. Even his own kids say that Ramsay is a finicky eater at home. Imagine trying to cook anything for him during the holidays or special event. Even on MasterChef when the home cooks screw up he starts to turn into HK Ramsay but not as aggressive as when he's on HK. Most of the competitors on the show say that he's great outside of the kitchen and you can talk to him but in the kitchen it's like Kitchen Bootcamp.
  13. I really wasn't rooting for anyone for S1-2 those seasons were a little blah but I will say that Virgina S2 should have been eliminated a long time ago and I do also believe that Ramsay found her attractive and part of the reason why he kept her. My favorite contestants were: Julia (S3), Petrozza (S4 R.I.P,), Paula & Danny (S5 great final 2), Dave, Van, & Kevin (S6), Holli (S7), Vinny & Jillian (S8), Tommy, Jen, & Will (S9), Christina & Brian (S10), Jon & Ja'nel (S11) Least: Tiffany (S3), Matt, Jen, Cory, Rosann (S4), Lacey, Ben, Andrea, & Carol (S5), Suzanne, Robert, & Joseph (S6), Ben (S7), Raj, Russell (S8), Elise (S9), Robyn, Kimmie, & Tiffany (S10), Zach, Jeremy, Dan, & Nedra (S11) I won't go into long detail as to why I like/dislike these contestants, don't want a long post but some are self explanatory.
  14. Yes, I agree the band was just cringe and awful. The show did this before with opera and it's just unnecessary to be singing out what the dish is. Miss Feeling Herself Amber just continues to be annoying and think she's just the elite of the elite. She must hang out with Joe Bastianich. One of the guest judges I seen before in an earlier season of HK, can't remember which season, I think it was S7 but not 100% sure. Also a bit tired of the "guests" at the restaurant complaining about the food not being there. You pretty much expect to be waiting four hours for food at this point. So think of it as the Hell's Kitchen Diet.
  15. I'm coming around on Cody as a person, so hopefully he's good in the kitchen. Nothing has been shown yet IMO on his cooking skills. I liked the way he handled being taken out of the reward and didn't complain and how he tried to talk to Marc instead of yelling and screaming at him. I agree Declan doesn't seem to be the problem it's Marc. Declan tried to help Peter stay in the competition. It was definitely time for Peter to go, HK just isn't for him and appreciate him being honest and saying no that he's not a leader. Some people aren't natural born leaders. Marc is just a narcissist, he doesn't know how to take accountability for anything, can't see his mistakes but wants to call everyone else out on theirs. Amber is still annoying, she tells Marc she doesn't want to talk to him, then confronts him for talking about her, but then goes back to saying she doesn't want to talk to him. Girl the Astrodome wants you to take several seats. There's always something to do in the kitchen Lauren, just standing around is gonna get you noticed by Ramsay and not in a good way. I see so many chefs on this show just standing around and not offering to help anyone. Nikki I thought was gonna crumble on the meat station cause she was in her talking head saying how good she is at it and that usually translates to messing up in the kitchen. I'm glad it was the reverse and she actually did a great job. The voice over guy can stop with the whole Hell's Kitchen is the hottest restaurant because it's pretty much confirmed that the people that go are relatives and friends of those that work for Fox and celebs. Nobody outside of that can book a reservation or anything like that.
  16. Has there been any other cooking competition where a competitor hasn't consistently gone home because of "hospital" visits or injuries. I'm starting to question these more than I do the alleged "ties" this show tends to keep having. Marc & Declan both need to shut up. I don't need Elise vs Carrie part 2. Marc is more annoying though. I really thought dude with the dark hair who was arrogant in the first episode was going to be the annoying one but nope. Girl who thinks highly of herself who went to the blue team, Amber I believe her name is, is annoying me too. Did they seriously have to trash all those purple cupcakes with the pearls on them? How many more times are we gonna see someone boast about how good they are at cooking fish, meat, etc. but completely bomb the station, blonde dude and Syann (hope I'm spelling her name right but don't think I am). Peter should have gone home even if it put the blue team at a severe disadvantage.
  17. There was the roof episode where Blanche should have paid for a new roof but shouldn't Blanche have also paid for the installation of the new toilet that Dorothy and Rose partnered up to fix?
  18. Barbara Thorndyke's dress at the end of episode was ugly as hell. The color was not for her, the top half looked unfinished, the dress had this unflattering diagonal thing going on. It also had so many folds around the crotch area which made it look like she had a penis. Dorothy's dress in the same episode with Thorndyke at the end was too big. If it was slightly more form fitting it would have looked better. With Dorothy everything was just big on her. I think what would have helped is if she was baggy on top then form fitting on bottom and vice versa cause she mostly looked like a shopping bag full of groceries.
  19. Blanche's boyfriend Rex was dangerous as he was verbally and physically abusive to Blanche and Dorothy respectively.
  20. What did Dorothy see in Glen the second time around? First time around she knew that Glen was too afraid to be alone so didn't want to leave his wife. Second time he's getting a divorce and one of the first things out of his mouth is along the lines of needing to find "broad with job" or a woman to do his laundry or something. Then asks Dorothy to marry him so she can take him out of the current lifestyle he's in. Kicker is that "I'm alone" phone call with his ex-wife. Afraid to let his ex know he's seeing someone else. He wants Dorothy to be in the same position she was when they first met, discreet and nobody to know they're together except for the Blanche, Rose, and Sophia.
  21. I'm surprised neither Rose or Sophia paid an early termination fee for breaking their lease when they both moved out of the house in their respective episodes. Rose after she had that esophageal spasm and Sophia when Dorothy didn't like Sophia's new friends. Even though Sophia gave Blanche notice I don't think it was a 30 day notice. Unless the new homes they moved into were month to month. Was it established that while living with Blanche they were month to month or signed a lease? They quickly moved out and in the snap of a finger they moved back in. Same thing for Debbie Reynolds' character she signed a lease and had to move out within a day and she took it well. That would piss me off. I think I answered my question that if Debbie's character signed a lease then Rose, Dorothy, and Sophia were under a lease as well.
  22. I really enjoyed Daphne's presentation when she made her food and her judging critiques. Wouldn't mind seeing her return as a guest. I never seen The Chew so don't know how she was on that show. Like Gordon didn't know what he was cooking in 30 minutes. I believe he knew what the challenge was and already had it in his head what he was going to cook and of course judges were going to praise the dish. However, I did like that Ramsay said he wish his crust was a little thicker on the pot pie. Bri her plating her was bad again, it looked like a door stopper. YES YES YES she's gone!!!! FINALLY!!!! Gordon let's not lie her plating was horrible. Bri you're not the best plater you're mediocre. Noah OMG that dish looked horrible. Looked like something you find in a baby's diaper. Yikes, couldn't even eat that. Blech. Micah continues to plate badly, the colors were so muted. I don't understand why when judges give them helpful criticism the contestants don't want to listen and continue to do what they were doing and the judges usually hate your dish and you end up in the bottom. Nick & Subha's dishes did look really good though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you weren't allowed to go back in the pantry once you have all your ingredients? I remember one season where the judges said you couldn't go back in the pantry once you're done yet this season I've seen contestants run back in there.
  23. I barely paid attention to this week's episodes. Fred is gone and usually for me when someone I root for is eliminated I don't pay as much attention to the show. I'm taken out of it. The first episode kind of went by in a blur for me. All I remember is a guest judge from Chicago who does neat things with food forgot his name lol. Only dishes I remember were Nick and Jamie's. Only reason I remember Nick's is because his was in a dough mixer. I'm really tired of seeing puree on dishes. I see it on every cooking competition. It doesn't make a dish look good. To me it looks like the dish took a big dump and is unappetizing to me. Wolfgang Puck said that every dish doesn't always need puree. Puree needs to be on the dish for a reason not there for decoration sake. IDK why Bri boasts about her plating. Her plating is mediocre and should have used a smaller plate for that sad looking pasta sausage dish. Boo hooing it up once again. Last week forgot the most important ingredient this week didn't highlight the sausage. Micah's reduction on his plate looked like a crime scene, looked like someone was murdered. Shari needed to use a smaller plate too. When there's too much space on a plate it throws the portion of the dish off for me. The sausage plating this week was generally bad across the board. How many more lives does Bri have. She seriously needs to be eliminated.
  24. If my mother constantly to me like Sophia did Dorothy about my looks, style of dress (even though Dorothy's wardrobe was scary lol), having unattractive children, and how I can't get a man, I would have put her in the home. Sophia just attacked Dorothy's self-esteem and Dorothy had self-esteem issues since she thought John Neretti stood her up for the prom.
  25. In the episode where Dorothy has a gambling problem. Blanche is upset cause a co-worker didn't want to sleep with her cause he has a strict rule about doing that. The morning after Rose asks Blanche if she's going to work dressed in nightwear and Blanche fires back with something along the lines of wearing pumps and slippers. I was like Blanche, Dorothy type clapbacks don't work for you. Blanche you're better suited at throwing shade about beauty, fashion, and age. The Henny Penny episode was fun, loved Dorothy in the play, "Help, the outlook is drear." Sophia saying "self basting" when describing Turkey Lurkey. I'm like Sophia the play is for children.
