  1. I'm just going to hold out hope that Fred returns. It's S10 after all since they like to beat us over the head with it and S10 has twists and turns don't ya know. Josh from S3 returned after the remaining contestants chose his dish as the best over Flavor Elevator.
  2. I'm sure that Noah didn't just pack overalls in his suitcase. I believe a wardrobe stylist provided those overalls as well as that stupid looking hat. If he isn't wearing a bandana it's a hat. Why keep bringing up Micah's job of being a pot washer? Who cares. A job title doesn't dictate whether or not you're going to be a good leader. Lead them to a victory without having to do much of any restructuring like the blue team. Subha is so scattered but glad the team weren't being jackasses towards him and just got him to focus on the task at hand. Then burn chicken when not even cooking it, that's quite a feat. His constant scatterbrain during challenges and plating last minute only to serve a good dish is starting to come off as more of an act than anything. Shari was not a good leader, just all over the place with putting Noah on fish and then potatoes back on fish. Skin on and then off then back on and then she wanted back off. Fred & Bri were just in the background so I guess they didn't mess up anything or had anything worth showing. I guess Joe wasn't happy with Micah's decision to make Subha cook cause it doesn't bring drama. I agree with Micah, why punish those that did a good job. I would send in the person who was the weak link. I mean he burned chicken and wasn't even tasked with cooking it and was all over the place. Bri says she's about plating but her filet mignon plate looked bad. I could tell either her or Fred was going home because the 2nd episode was Fred & Bri-ish. Lot of focus was on them and sucks Fred went home who had a much more impressive body of work over Bri. Micah I'll keep rooting for you but keep your side comments to yourself cause he and Dorian were rather annoying on the balcony.
  3. It seems the producers tell the contestants to keep dressing the same to fulfill some look or stereotype. Noah with the overalls and bandana to keep the southern country look going, Micah with the backwards hat for some reason, Nick too keep looking like a college kid, Bri has to look like she walked off the set of Beverly Hills 90210, and Dorian has the play the older contestant with the library bun in her head. I'm immune to the whole sympathy story or last opportunity. Especially the single parent story, oh poor me I got knocked up/I knocked someone up and we deserve it more. No you don't. My (insert family member here) passed away. Yes, it's tragic but don't pull that as a means of staying in the competition. It's nice for motivation but don't use it for sympathy. I don't believe the last opportunity either because if it's something you want to do then you're going to keep going after your dream until you achieve it because people have faced being homeless and living in their cars to achieve their dream. Even then most people on MC don't even continue on with a culinary career after the show.
  4. I was 50/50 on Lynette. She had her moments such as costing Tom a promotion so he wouldn't travel more but then tells him to go after big jobs and how he won't go nowhere if he doesn't push himself. Also when Renee & Lynette decorated Tom's office she should have decorated it the way Tom wanted not how she wanted. On the reverse side Tom did guilt and manipulate Lynette to sacrifice a lot do his bidding. Really didn't have to keep making her pregnant either. My favorite relationship was Carlos & Gaby. Didn't like the statutory rape which was uncalled for and could have easily made John a college kid but people looked over it because John was hot. They were both horrible in S1 but after their relationship was developed better. I didn't like the baby switch story and Carmen saying Gaby was a bad mother and how Carmen was acting when they first met. I didn't want Rex to die, he was an ass at times but Rex & Bree scenes were great. I really think Bree had no other connection with any of her other relationships. Orson was too creepy, Trip I wasn't feeling it, Chuck was ok until they broke up and he became an ass and Keith was just a mismatch, Brian Austin Green didn't fit into the show and could be his acting or the fact writers didn't have him interact with the cast. I did like her relationship with Karl and could have had great funny moments seeing as how opposite they were but they killed him off before it couldn't even go anywhere. Hated the whole premise of S7 cause it was just a mess and made no sense to me. Killing an intruder is justifiable homicide whether Gaby reported his past sexual abuse or not. Alejandro broke in with the intention of rape. Susan fucking up more than usual if that was even possible, Bree being an alcoholic slut. The only good thing was Felicity Huffman's acting during the divorce story. Susan ugh just completely useless after S1 wish Angie Bolen did whack Susan with that bat instead of the car. Hated what they did to Katherine's character, it was obvious they didn't know what to do with her after her S4 story wrapped up. Didn't like how they wrote Betty Applewhite, Alfre Woodard did a great job portraying her but her interactions were limited and the story wasn't that great. Angie Bolen was cool, outspoken, she would have fit in well. Why did they pick such a nobody to be the strangler? Couldn't pick an established character. Just a random and one episode of his past. Ok. Blah. Renee was alright, just Edie mixed with Angie character that they needed for the show. I agree Bang is one of the best episodes of the show.
  5. I have to disagree with that because I don't base my dislike for someone based off their looks. I don't care what you look like. The judges of MC and American Idol I may add are the worst offenders when judging off looks. If you have a heinous personality like the past contestants I listed in previous post or keep crying after getting negative critiques then I'm not going to like that contestant. Jessie pretty blonde from S4, Ramsay said to her that some of the contestants think she's there because of her looks which was false because no contestant ever said that to Jessie or in their confessionals and she was a competent cook who made it to final four or five believe. She wasn't obnoxious or did the crying thing. Dan from S7, Ramsay said to him that he may be able to woo ladies with his smile, again judging the man off his looks and he made it to final 4 and wasn't a douche from what I remember. Now that I type that it's not the judges it's Ramsay who does that. I don't hear Joe, Aaron, or Tosi talking about the way contestants look.
  6. In regards to villains, they had one but he was eliminated early. That guy with the gray hair who the judges thought they couldn't teach or give advice to which was shocking for me. They usually keep the possible villain around for a long time for the drama. It's refreshing to see a season where a majority of the contestants aren't jackasses and are more like themselves and don't seem like they're playing a character. Rather watch them than Christian, Krissi, The Flavor Elevator, Shelley, Shanika, Tali, Courtney, Cutter, & Suzy (S2) I don't dislike Bri but she needs to get it together and stop all that crying. She always seems to get behind when cooking and when judges critique her she turns on the water works. Like one judge said on a competition show "Don't know why people think crying gets them anywhere." She's like Howard from S4 who always got misty eyed when getting critiqued and Joe put a stop to that. What works against her for me is that valley girl tone she speaks. That's nails on a chalkboard for me.
  7. What season are we in again? Cause the show thinks that we leave our brains on the table when watching this show so they can beat us over the head with it. I'm rooting for Fred or Micah to win. Moreso Fred. Bri girl all that crying when you get a bad critique. Boo hoo. Suck it the hell up. She may have baked the cake better if she had on her Wizard of Oz glittery boots. Noah wanting to be a showboat with that opera cake. Idiot. I think some of these contestants don't know what strategy means. Stick to your strengths and what you can possibly bake within that time frame. Especially if you're not a baker. Can they make it more obvious on who is going home. Reality shows do this all the time. Person who gets the most airtime. I would have liked it better if Renee just walked out before the judges eliminated her like she said in her confessional. ******************************* Is anyone here playing the drinking game on when either the judges or contestants say Season 10? Has anyone here suffered alcohol poisoning yet? Boy was I relieved when they brought in Candice instead of Tosi but Candice don't try to bring in new words like macawrong. It won't fly anywhere. Don't try to make "fetch" happen. Bri girl, get your glittery boots. That seems to be where your talent is. I think she should have been eliminated though but who am I say, I didn't taste the macaroons.
