Well, arent most psychiatrist this way with their patients? They speak slowly and carefully? I do think that GA approached the character this way to make her seem even more mysterious. There is a vulnerability in her and its probably what keeps Hannibal from killing her. Or maybe he respects her too much. I love the scenes that Mads and GA have done together. Dr Maurier is surely different from Dr Scully. Where as Du Maurier speak slowly and calmly, Scully speaks faster with her medical stuff and is often irritated with Mulder's alien theories. haha. Her schedule now has opened up, so maybe we wil see more of her in S3. Bratinella, I am with you there. Gillian is gorgeous even more so as she ages. I love that she can actually attend those fan conferences and not wear make up sometimes. She recently an on cam thing asking fans to bid on celeb doodles for charity with no a shade of make up since she just woke up. I love seeing the natural lines on her face. And those eyes. Yes, I have such a girl crush also.

Yeah, Gillian was so busy last year also with The X Files 20th Anniversary agreeing to attend Comic Con, Wonder Con, Paley Center and other conferences she could fit into her schedule along with filming Crisis, The Fall etc. She is Belfast now filming the second season of The Fall. Then will do a play "Streetcar Named Desire" in london for 2 months. She is truly mesmerizing. And Bryan Fuller seems to really love her. And she loves working with Bryan Fuller and the cast of Hannibal. She has said that if Bryan Fuller wants her on Hannibal she will come back. And she truly loves Mads. Her scenes are always worth waiting for. This show is so damn good. I cant think of a show that has four brilliant actors Hugh, Mads, Lawrence and Gillian. All bringing their A game everytime they are on screen. And strong performances from other actors as well. I totally geek out when Gillian is in screen. She is jusr so mesmerizing.

Yeah she really looks disoriented. i love when she asks "Where should I look?" Or she can't quite decide whether she would have her English accent or American accent. That made me laugh. I could not watch "straightheads" The rape scenes i cannot handle. Although what amazing acting from the clips I saw.

No offense but I always laugh at JJ/Reid ship. There is nothing romantic between them. It is almost incestious if they ever got together. They are like brother and sister. I see more chemistry in a romantic eay betwen Hotch and JJ.

I understant that but that is very unprofessional of her and her writers. Why punish her? Blake was never given the chance for fans to like her because the crappy scripts they came up with. But then again, even when they made JJ the focus in seasons 7 and 9 it didn't make the fans love JJ, it made them hate or not like her at all.

I don't think her personality fit with the cast. Although when Paget was there for the 200 episode, Jeanne seem to get on well with her. I agree with you regarding it being a slap in the face. I blame EM because in my opinion, I don't she ever made the effort to let us get to really know Blake. What was point in making season 9 a JJ season when season 7 was all about her. Also, knowing that JT was coming into her final contract year, still she made it known that season 9 is a JJ season. Depending on who they get, I done with this show. Btw, this is what they call a finale? It looks more like a typical episode. For me, a season finale is a "Person of Interest". That is how you end a season. There is nothing I found interesting or exciting about it. The only moments I like were with Blake.

I call it lazy writing. I thought her reason for leaving was weak, a cop out. It was as weak as the reason why JJ decided to be a profiler and no longer a Media Liaison. Another lazy writing.

There was so much they could have done with Blake this season but instead they opted to have this as a JJ season.

MMC- I doubt CBS won't fill that in. I am pretty sure they will get someone known. But will probably tell EM to make her more significant that Jeanne was.

I want Kelly Hu. I hope they get her. Or Tamlyn Tomita. Or maybe Parmider Nagra.

In my opinion, I think Jeanne thought she would have something more to work with on the show. That never came because Messer was to keen on making sure that JJ is significant. Making her the focus in both season 9. They never developed Blake. She is just there.
