  1. Actually, Brady could just walk down into the sea and go get it. (joking)
  2. I'm not a huge fan of recasting, but they created a really good character here. Being from Alderaan alone, and still having that fresh in so many people's memory is interesting. I wouldn't want that to fade away.
  3. I actually liked the character. I can't imagine what the actor was thinking.
  4. I would have loved to see these characters getting in on GameStop.
  5. V had some potential. It was worth it for the Thorn Birds joke.
  6. That is accurate. The entire baby plot was ill advised. I think they never really knew what to do with Jordan Collier because he didn't have any powers per se, and felt like he needed a foil. I would have stuck to him just having visions of the future and whether people had 'faith' in him or not. But hey - the first real appearance of Mahershala Ali! And I did love Diana being all put out that she was the only one who didn't end up with an ability.

He used to take shots at players and hide behind Lambier. That wouldn't fly today. And you're expecting production out of the point guard. He didn't run the floor nearly as well as he would need to now.

Rodman was always fine with who he was. He'd still be great now. He might have developed a better mid range shot, but I think he'd still be rebounding like a hoover. Oakley would be a complete waste. He'd get thrown in for 2 or 3 minutes here and there but there's no way he could get up and down the court with the likes of a Durant. They'd probably put him in set plays where there was a set stoppage.
  9. I know how I feel. Ass. The kids at school made fun of me because I told them Frank Sinatra was my favorite singer. Well, hard to argue ol' Blue Eyes.
  10. I also liked 'She gives good value'. Crais wasn't really intended to be the big bad though. He's largely pissed about his brother, and interested the other thing re - The Way We Weren't.

I think the increase of bench players' contributions are a benefit, and it makes coaching/matchups more challenging. Players like Jordan and Kobe though, you can see playing 48 because they were monsters. Kemp too. Someone like Bird would have been better served by managing minutes.

I thought a good amount don't play back to back though.

Nutrition too. Bird could have shifted his game as more of a spot up shooter too, later into his career I'm only talking hand checking as a way guys got defensive positioning. Not grabbing and holding.

They'd probably push him around a little more, but I think he'd develop a decent high post game and just blow people off the block. One thing I will say about 'back then' is that I would like the hand check to be reinstated.
  15. Von also forced a fumble for a TD and had like a million tackles, so that was more than fair. QBs are like presidents and the economy. They get more credit for wins, but take more blame for losses. The defense probably should have been MVP, but there was no one individual that stood out. This may be the fundamental problem with the MVP in and of itself because it has to go to one individual. Which is really great for the game imo in terms of executing a game plan and everyone contributing. Similarly, I would suggest that the D line in the second Pats/Giants should have got the MVP over Manning. But that's the way it goes. To be fair, Brady did have a high efficiency and 3 TDs, so it's not like he was just handing the ball off either. Those were some decent numbers. I don't have a problem with him 'managing the game.' That's what you're supposed to do. Aikman says this frequently iirc. He executed the game plan successfully. I know Mahomes probably doesn't have enough clout yet, but he's not winning much more in terms of titles with Reid there. He just cannot make adjustments on the fly.
  16. I always do get a kick out of that.
  17. Do you think Bill will ring up Brady for congrats?
  18. I was thinking Rams was 13-10 because Brady never wins big.
  19. When was the last time a team didn't score a td?
  20. There's less people there so you'd think they would be able to stop someone getting on the field.
  21. That was a well executed run. Great block.
  22. I'm not getting another streaming service. How many can the market bear?
