  1. And may very well be the reason why Dougal didn't try and marry Claire himself. Doesn't mean he isn't going to sit, sulk and wish he were in Jamie's place.
  2. It doesn't "disqualify" them, it just makes them less desirable a candidate. Akin to modern-day politicians getting caught with a hooker. As Collum's brother, Dougal's the stronger candidate.
  3. Don't forget Claire's massive hangover. The running plot of her binge drinking highly amuses me. I almost want to make a drinking game out of it but it's almost too on the nose. Apropos of nothing, I really loved that pained gasp Claire let out when Murtagh hauled her up from bed.
  4. Hell, I'm answering it: Eddie breaks a mirror and spills salt without throwing it over his left shoulder. What was the relationship between Evan Drake and the waitress he forced Rebecca to hire?
  5. Nope, Jamie was shot on the right.
  6. THAT I can believe. My mother is from Maryland, currently lives in south Texas and profusely complains of the cold when the temperature drops below 75.
  7. Geez, Dash, have you no self control at all? I hope Ingrid made him wear a full body condom because if not, she better hope being dead for a day killed any raging STDs he might have given her. This is kind of gruesome but it was a nice touch that dead Freya and Ingrid had purple feet and fingers. Lividity, don'tcha know...
  8. I was just dictating what they've implied thus far. It could be that Frank shoots blanks. Or they just never got the hang of the timing.
  9. Maybe they had soft boots? They've kind of implied that Claire is infertile. She previously told Geilis (in "The Gathering") that she and her "dead" husband had been trying but hadn't conceived. Geilis suggested that she might be barren and then that's where the subject dropped.
  10. That wasn't Lancaster as Freddie's very stupid girlfriend? Sure looked like her.
  11. I'm grown and I would not want to watch Outlander with my mother. Just... too awkward. I did watch this past episode with my brother and sister-in-law and that was no problem.
  12. I use Netflix for binge watching all the time, sometimes for shows I've already seen. Recently, I watched all 11 seasons of Frasier and am currently on season 8 of Cheers. And I'll also use it for catch-up on shows that I initally missed, like The Blacklist. I binge watched season 1 a couple weeks ago and am all caught up and ready for season 2.
  13. The cast is VERY active on Twitter in support of the show. Most of them have been live-tweeting every week this season. Channing Tatum joining in sometimes is really hilarious.
  14. A lot of people like to binge watch, as opposed to viewing on a weekly basis. And only on Netflix is The Blacklist available that way. The NBC site only has a few episodes at a time, they don't post the whole season.
  15. That was Jamie's scar from when he got shot in the first episode.
  16. Most of my musings have already been covered so I just have this to add: I thought the shot was gorgeous as well but honestly, I would assume it was CGId. I imagine that would be cheaper than the time spent trying to pull off that shot for real. Though if I'm wrong and it's not CGI, then yes, it was very impressive. I also like the shot of Jamie through Claire's arm as she rest her head on her hand. The 40-year-old Virgin came on one of the other premium channels afterwards and I couldn't help but notice the similarities in the male deflowering sex scenes: that the first time was over pretty quickly, the woman wasn't exactly thrilled with the experience and subsequent sex was much improved.
  17. Well, I know it, but I'm inelligible.
  18. It was blackjack, close enough. The hound was doubling down.
  19. Guess which episode came next on my netflix queue just now?Screaming Viking What was the painting that consistently made Sam crack up laughing every time he saw it?
  20. Me too! I just saw it like two days ago (I've been working my way through Netflix). I also loved when Diane said, "I know I probably shouldn't consider [going away with Lance for the weekend] but when I look at him, I... consider it."
  21. . I could be wrong though, the memory isn't what it once was. That's right, I remember Claire saying something like Basically, the amount of time that has passed on the show is on par with the book.
  22. That doesn't sound much different than the storyline last year, which was Layla guilting Will into propping up her career. Sounds great and refreshing. [/sarcasm]
  23. That's why I love that episode. It's like, holy shit, it's Bart and Sideshow Bob! PS: sorry the picture sucked so much. I tried to find one online but came up empty so that was done with my iphone camera and Netflix on pause. Not my question, but the answer is correct, for what it's worth.
  24. Yes. Well, as it all happened in Diane's head.
  25. Well yeah, that's what Shaw and her team did, she'd get the relevant number from her superiors (Control, hence the name), investigate and then take action if the person was a threat, which it was most of the time, if not all.
