Hilarious -- at least the Storm have found what works for them and are sticking to it! I'll have to re-watch -- I don't remember that scene but Judy was probably stunned speechless by J's answer! I've been a Jinelle fan since her tryouts when Kelli said something to the effect of "not a body type for everyone" and I was thinking -- are they crazy? She's toned and lean with natural cleavage with zero threat of weight issues. The exact perfect body type you want to put in your tiny uniform. Plus she has that dynamite smile. I wasn't aware of this board back then and was rooting so hard for her while I watched the show, afraid that she would be cut.

And with that smaller squad, ALL the returning vets can cycle forward during some portion of Thunderstruck. 😜

So sad, but I hear ya! Amusing to see that Amazon categorizes Season 1 of DCC MTT as "Reality Comedy." There will always be tears when people see their dream end - we're all used to that as part of the process and that is drama enough for me. Note to Kelli: there is a difference between drama and torture. Also funny that from what I've read on here last season was the highest rated so far, and the season that made me question if I want to keep watching!

Random and totally fantastic! Jinelle is one of my all time favorites. I'm hoping you do bump into her -- and then immediately report back to us! Favor - during this "random" meeting (no stalking now) please tell her PattiD says "hi!"

I'm neutral on Lily at this point, but I think it would be beyond cruel for her to be the last cut for a second time. I agree she looks different this year but in the pictures I've seen posted here, it appears rather than genuinely smiling, she is using a trick popularized by Jackie O (DCCs preferred arbiter of all things elegant and ladylike) to minimize laugh lines. Basically it's just pulling back your lips to expose your teeth, so it looks like a "smile" but there is no true happiness, just a pose. In last year's welcome to training camp pic she looks truly joyful. In the casual pics from this year she just looks like she's setting her teeth and with no gladness involved to light up her face and with the jaw and throat more involved in the move her face looks harsh. Or as @Agent Gully has mentioned, determined. If she makes the team I hope genuine excitement will bring a glow back to her.

Perfect example of why I love typos/omissions. What an amazing group of 45 TCC to encompass the women who finally graduated one of those 116 represented colleges!!!

I like the positive aspects mentioned so far about the split/shared point, and I know we've been told it's not really something the DCC themselves aspire to, that we boardies and fans care more about it than they do. But, because I'm a crabby Patti: I think it's a way to dumb things down so that by the time VK is in her 8th year it will be the new normal and no one will be surprised that she is front and one-off center with whatever person is being rewarded for sticking it out with her as a teammate.

Amused how this follows a shot of the, um, body positivity girl with a shot of VKs overbite so that those who are not addicted to DCC won't think VK went dark auburn. Also, would love to know more about the fresh faced, natural hair lady shown right before Kat's shot in the stands. I saw some pictures of her from finals that piqued my interest.

I know some people think Gina is too "extra" when she dances, but I think she is point material. Girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to stand out when her entire person can be blocked by Tess's arm! Team Gina for point!

If we have to have a brunette (and I'm usually partial to them), Adam Lambert for point! My eye just goes right past Maddie. I'm neutral on her so could live with her as point, just means the other two in the top triangle will get a lot of attention. Amy is a no. Yes, yes, yes to Gina. I find her so compelling to watch. After this year at point, save yourself Gina and escape! Next year, my dream front triangle: Jalyn, Bridget and Hannah. Love you Jalyn - stay strong, dance strong!

Very true in my case as I don't believe she should have been invited back to TC this year after last year's antics. Sadly, I think it was only VK's overt weight gain and not her list of toxic behaviors that led dearest Auntie Kelli at long last, and to my great relief, finally cutting her from last year's TC. When I was a kid, that fuel could be lies, as in "liar, liar, pants on fire." Should liars' pants actually catch on fire, VK will unwittingly but most definitely put on quite the half time show. 🔥💥🔥💥 Should her tiny uniform shorts start smoking and flaming I imagine most pyromaniacs will absolutely claim her as their favorite DCC . 💥🔥💥🔥 Just me or does the fire emoji look like an ombre Peeps?

Yet here she is an all-star. Kitty knows all and sees all, um, no - though she does tell all. Due to my comment about hair below I must admit I do think Danielle could use a teensy bit of color help right now. So true! Her hair look is so dated it is practically retro at this point. I would watch a Marshall intervention if they filmed him telling the truth about her "style" and stripes. Oh insiders, insiders - any end of week news?

I'm all for this if it means the viewers don't have to see Kitty at all! So sad that Kelli still asks for any input from this discredited bully. (I don't include Judy here as I'm not sure that she offers any opinions anymore and if she does if they are considered). Respect! the viewers and remove all traces of Kitty snake in the grass from the show. We'll still know she's spitting venom in the background - but we won't be subjected to her loud mouth and tragic hair.

Yes! Wishing major good vibes to Jalyn (one of the stars of my future dream auburn/redhead triangle of Bridget, Hannah and talented Jalyn herself)-- and a major brain freeze to Kelli if Jalyn's position on the team is under threat this year.

I'm absolutely with you on this one. She is one of the few to whom I feel the term "sweetheart" actually applies. A natural beauty who exudes joy when she performs. I think she would be great at point. Because I've bought into the "seniority" ethos that surrounds DCC, I'm hoping for a different point this year (team Gina -- surprise!) but I would 100% percent back Bridget - as is - in the future.

The old promo shot is a lovely bouquet of cheerleaders! I miss them already -- seems like they've been gone for years! But yes, getting excited for the new season -- just a little over a month to go -- and debating with myself when I should stop reading this "spoiler" thread.

@Jazzmom Love it - what a wonderful pic! Did the DCC autograph the young lady's group photo? Any details you want to share? There has been some discussion about Miranda's highlights after "makeovers" so I'm wondering when this was taken.

If she does, I'll just drown my sorrows the VK way -- open pie hole, insert milkshake. Repeat as necessary.

Unhappily, I am resigned to the fact that VK will make the team this year. From what we have seen so far she has kept the weight off. BUT, there is no way she can ever EARN her boots. She was being handed them last year and still managed to not make the team. The egregious behavior she displayed on last season's show would have resulted in any other TCC being asked to leave and never return. The fact that she tried out again and made TC is just more nepotism, so she already has a handout going into TC. Should, through some miracle, she win the Nobel Peace Prize, I may rethink my attitude towards her. Other than that my mind is closed against her.
