  1. Cook Islands is always at/near the top of my list! So many first-timers that became repeaters, gorgeous scenery, interesting challengs, and Yul!
  2. I like them, though I don't like this show as well as the other one.
  3. Mrs. Seinfeld, I'm begging you, put the air conditioner ON!
  4. We quote the Tor Eckman episode all the time - I am not a businessman... complete with hand motions. Also - he's out, he got out!
  5. I loved the last episode, except that it was the last episode. So glad to see Victoria back with Johnny Revere! His season one episode is locked on my DVR - it was the clincher of this season as a keeper for me - so funny! I loved Bob, but the baby storyline wasn't the greatest to me. Loved that they named the baby Betty. I'm glad they all ended up happy, and the last scene on the porch swing about meeting every Wednesday night got me. I want to be there with them! It certainly wasn't the greatest show on tv, but it consistently made me laugh. I'll miss it.
  6. They bought the neighborhood bar in the Kitchen Nightmares episode. Melanie lost her job at the radio station and Joy thought it would help her adopt because being a detective is too dangerous. I think Victoria might have bought in as well.
  7. I was confused by this as well. Did they air the episodes out of order, or something? The therapist just vanished. I think William Baldwin's character went to NYC to be an actor. My favorite character is Victoria Chase, but it has been frustrating to really like some of the men she's paired with and then the relationship is over. I don't really want the show to end, but I had hoped this last season would be more normal with the relationships.
  8. I think Bob is hilarious! I don't know about chemistry, his character seems to be to have no chemistry with anyone, but he makes me laugh every time he is on the screen.
  9. When Kramer gets out of jail in LA for serial killing - because the murderer struck again - and they all dance on the steps.
  10. This show is silly and completely unrealistic, but I find myself laughing the whole time. I'll miss it.
  11. I've changed my mind. I really like Eric, the NC contractor. He is funny and more cheerful than Eddie.
  12. I love this show! I am currently undergoing a kitchen renovation, and I keep reminding my designer of how the Property Brothers would do it. He doesn't seem to appreciate it.?.
  13. No, boudoir lady was her friend. But I was glad for the red lipstick so I could remember which one was actually buying the place. The friend was very irritating.
  14. Those low prices also make you wonder if the couple didn't price their current house out of the market with their improvements. I can't remember what the value was after improvements, but seems like it was at least $600k.
  15. It was an interesting episode. The husband's ideas on purchasing and moving were not what we usually see. He almost just wanted to flip the house and flip the next one. The wife just wanted to live in the house. After watching all the Canada shows, the prices of the NC houses were shockingly low. Of course, I'm in AL and prices run even lower. The new contractor was pretty good, but I missed Eddie.
  16. I saw Drew Scott in one of those sappy Hallmark Christmas movies this weekend. I know, I turned away, but it was shocking to see him. It was apparently a large role, he was third actor listed in the credits. Don't know whether he did well, didn't watch it.
  17. But they sure are pretty - and the renovations usually are, too!
  18. And I loved the response from cute author (whose name escapes me) that he was actually John Grisham.
  19. I approach it as if it's real. I like most of Hilary's designs. And I would love for her to have enough money, just once. I know it's not real, and I don't really enjoy seeing the homeowners complain all the time, but that's tolerable simply because I know it's not real. Husband and I always laugh at them and their unreasonable expectations. We always joke they should have gone on Property Brothers, because the brothers always finish under budget.
  20. Niles to Bulldog: "I'm here for you ... and you're over there for me."
  21. I think Emmett was killed in a plane crash in Europe/Asia somewhere? Seems she was going to join him and then he was killed. I've never had the experience, but I'm not sure this really qualifies her as a "widow" in the way this latest love interest was a "widower." I had to laugh when she said she would wake up and expect him next to her. It was a longish story arc for this show, but hardly the same as his being married all his life. And it is frustrating to like the new characters they introduce, and then they vanish. But for some reason I keep laughing when I watch this show.
  22. One we use a lot at my house: I suck 'em down like Coca-Cola.
  23. I have to agree, the animated episode was terrible. I think I laughed twice. However, the auction episode was hilarious. I get so tickled by Victoria's honesty about herself. "He makes me want to appear to be a better person." And she gave me my new mantra, which I will never uphold: "As soon as you start dressing for comfort, next thing you know you'll be eating for pleasure!" (paraphrased). She cracks me up. Love Wendie Malick.
  24. Great - now I'll have that song stuck in my head all day!
  25. These pretzels are making me thirsty!
