I infinitely prefer the syndicated version of Mama. Even in the two network seasons, she was still pretty harsh, so I love that they toned her down a bit. Same for Vint - I actually preferred the super dumb character he became in syndication because Ken Berry was so good at it.

Count me in, @walnutqueen!

Just wanted to show some love to @Drogo for using a gif of my beloved Boy George! ❤️

She's close, but the winner of that contest for me will always be Kenley. God, how I despised her. Her nastiness towards the judges and other designers was unreal. I prayed weekly for Nina to disembowel her on the runway.

I am extremely behind in my watching, so forgive the late comment, but I just saw this episode last night. Nina, what are you doing to me?!? I was counting on her to call out Hester's ridiculous outfit for the silly, unimaginative costume it was, and instead she praises her? WTF? How is she even still on the show, making the same Rainbow Brite garb over and over again? I swear, if this is another fix like the plus-size designer who made hideous plus-size garments several seasons ago....

Those 20 episodes would free up a lot of DVR space @justmehere, but I can't bring myself to delete them either lol

I miss it so much too. It kills me that TNT wouldn't even give us one final season so Chad could end the whole thing the way he wanted. And not having Michelle and JDB onscreen together anymore is a crime against humanity. (I'm also a bitter Betty and refuse to watch anything on TNT now - not that I ever watched anything on there besides GB lol)

I couldn't stand the Afghanimals the first time they ran the race and they've done nothing to change my opinion. So freaking obnoxious. I want to sit them down in a room with Tyler and tell them that none of them are as entertaining and adorable as they think they are. I'm rooting for Victor and Nicole at this point because I really, really like Victor. He seems like such a good guy. Nicole is...well, Nicole. I'm a huge Big Brother fan, so I'm used to her. I hated to see Floyd go because I love him and his positive spirit, but I was never sold on Becca. I definitely don't think she's some horrible, fake person, but she can be annoyingly over-the-top with the "TEAM FUN!!!!!!" persona when things go her away and just as annoying when things don't.

I was actually hoping Rachel & Elissa would stay and the Afghanimals would go. There's something about Rachel and her facial features that remind me of a dear friend of mine, so I just had to laugh and roll my eyes even when she was being her most ridiculously obnoxious and melodramatic. I couldn't bring myself to hate her. (Elissa on the other hand just kind of creeps me out.) At this point, I'd like Floyd to team up with Victor and the two of them win lol

Now that she's gone, I want to thank those who played "Who does Emma look like?" and let you all know that, while Vicky Lawrence was an excellent guess, the answer was, in fact, Kim Darby. 😉 (I didn't know Kim Darby by name, I just knew when I saw Emma the first day she played that she had clearly also played Mrs. Garrett's daughter-in-law on Facts of Life.) I appreciate Emma's personal service to me by getting rid of James, but I like the new champion already and really enjoyed the competitive game. I guessed Bob Dylan too, though.
-
I could've done without James jumping into frame a nanosecond after Emma beat him (his congrats could've waited a bit, and it looked like he startled her), but I'm just happy he's gone. Thank you, Emma! The get well card was very sweet, though.

Can 80's music please be a permanent category? lol Still hate the very sight of James, so instead of watching religiously every day, I'm down to checking in with the show once or twice a week to see how far ahead he is going into FJ. It kinda makes me sad not to enjoy the show anymore, but I just find him intolerable.

Congrats to Maelyn! She was the favorite in my family since her blind audition (wasn't that the very first audition we saw this season?) so we were really thrilled for her. And I love Sarah McLachlan. That duet was SO good.

Well, that was a big ol' pile of stupid and dull. The GOT I used to watch would have had Tyrion executed and Jon burned alive (or at least an attempted burning) by Drogon because that's the way this world works and those are the consequences they reaped. At the very least, Grey Worm, the rest of the Unsullied and the Dothraki would have avenged Dany somehow or died trying. But nah. Everyone who was loyal to her is cool with her murder, one annoying family is in charge of everything, and all is hunky dory. Hell, I even thought we might see Dany open a blue eye at the end, just to show that they didn't intend to go out in the most boring way possible. And as a non-Arya fan since day one, I hope her ship goes off course and winds up in the Iron Islands, where Yara cuts the petulant little brat's throat.

I found Rick to be such an insufferable ass that I reveled in his failure on the fire-making challenge. Yes, Chris sucks as a winner (although he seems like a really nice guy), but for me Rick would have been even worse because I thought he was a dick. I'm still angry that they do the whole fire thing at the end now. It's completely unfair that the "reward" for winning the final immunity challenge is NOT being able to vote out the person you really want gone. Idiotic.

Not my kind of show at all, but I would never miss out on anything Alicia Coppola is in. Been a huge, huge fan since her Another World days back in the early 90's.

Man, you know the performances are bad when the judges actually criticize them instead of the usual, "You made it your own!" BS. Blake seemed a little annoyed that John and Kelly were (rightfully) critical of some of his singers, so it was telling that even he couldn't sit there with a straight face and say "Take Me to Church" guy was good.
-
At this point, I hope Dany gets to crisp up some more people before she dies (like Sansa) and then uses the ashes and bones to flavor a nice big kettle of stew for her and Drogon to snack on. Cersei gets to die in the arms of the man she loves, but Dany will be murdered for being an evil tyrant? Fuck that nonsense. #TeamDany4eva

S31: Janelle Pierzina and Britney Haynes (Friends)
TaraS1 replied to Whimsy's topic in The Amazing Race
I have nothing to add to this topic except Janelle is my all-time favorite Big Brother player and I love her. Thank you. -
38 seasons. 38 seasons and I have never missed a single episode or fast-forwarded through a single moment. But that’s what this horrible season made me do tonight with the reading of those stupid letters to themselves. What a bunch of boring, desperate filler. And I loathe Devens. Hated him when he wore a cowboy hat and his name was Ben, hate him now. Thank god this disaster is over next week. Praying we get our awesome show back in the fall!

The poor girl who murdered Shallow last night may have given one of the worst performances ever done on a singing competition show, and that's obviously saying a lot. That was brutal.

The heat from that dumpster fire of an episode could have lit all the trenches around Winterfell last week. You're never going to make me turn against Dany, show. For me, she's earned the right to burn this godforsaken world and everyone in it to the ground, and I hope she does.

I'm not an Arya fan, so I was very blah on her getting to kill the Night King. I was hoping it would be Dany since she's my favorite, but hey, someone had to do it, so I'm just glad it's done. And as much as I'd like all our main folks to live, add me to the chorus of people who think the episode would have carried a lot more weight if at least one of them had died.

I don't hate Wentworth, but I so don't give a crap about her "journey" and her EoE tears. Or anyone else's EoE tears for that matter. It kills me that this season is such a dud. I don't think I've ever shouted "God, who cares? Just vote already!" at Jeff during a tribal before. They all think they're so deep talking about the game, but their endless, circular answers were just boring the stuffing out of me.
-
Arya has always been one of my least favorite characters so I was both weirded out and completely disinterested in the sex scene. I understood it, I just didn't care about it. I adore Davos, and that scene with the little Shireen clone had me welling up. The thought of all these helpless little kids and old people potentially dying in the crypts really got to me. And as a Dany fan, I hope the show isn't going for "She's just power hungry and mad!" because I don't see that in her. I just hope she gets her Throne in the end. I love you, Ser Brienne!
