Dumb Clint would have had to file a police report, which he wouldn't do because he is dumb. This is why HE is on the hook for 21k. His insurance would have covered it* but you have to file a police report in order for your insurance company to cover it under your first party coverage. I'm not saying you don't have a point, but as far as the police know Tracie hasn't stolen that car because Clint is a nitwit. * I'm sure Clint has first party coverage because he drives a fairly new Dodge charger and I'm sure he is financing it, and when you finance a vehicle your lienholder will require that you get comprehensive and collision coverage on the vehicle to protect their interest and your insurance coverage also covers rental vehicles.

I'm of two minds here because I agree there are disparities, although I think they normally occur at sentencing and in the parole process period. However, as far as I could tell, this wasn't Michael's first violation, as he couldn't be found by his parole officer when he was with Megan. Then he missed a FIVE HOUR WINDOW to show up. AND he was driving when he was told he wasn't supposed to, and he wasn't even trying to hide the fact that he was driving. I mean if he had a three pm appointment that had been set by the PO and he was 10 minutes late then yeah maybe it's too much, but he had a FIVE HOUR window to show up and he couldn't make it? Come on. Ultimately, I think one of the goals of parole is to see if the offender can follow rules. They have a history that says they can't and parole has to be about making sure that a parolee can follow rules or trying to "tough love" them into following rules. Michael may not be a huge risk, but I don't want violent offenders or sex offenders on parole getting away with "minor infractions" and not being locatable by their parole officer. I am open to blaming the system here, but he had FIVE HOURS to make that appointment, and he drove into the location... directly flouting the rules. At some point he has to learn to take those rules seriously and if he can't.....I don't know.....

IKR?!?!???? I get a thrill of fear when I accidentally drop my phone because I don't want to have a buy another one. Phones are expensive and none of you have impressive careers, find something else to throw! Also did not think it was cool that Scott was kicking a truck that wasn't his. WTF?

Someone was making preparing the delicious looking meat for a sandwich and Clint asked mommy to prepare him a BBQ sandwich. So whatever they are doing it has something to do with delicious sandwiches. But they shouldn't have Clint working there, his fingernails are dirty and he always looks unwashed.
-
Clint always looks dirty. It's like the pig pen effect, even when he appears to have just showered and put on his clothes he looks so unwashed. And his nails are always dirty. He looks more gross than anyone else on that show. Except maybe scary skinny Tracie.
-
Anyways, Scott is getting everything he deserves. He keeps picking women that are out of his league. With those teeth, whatever chemical damage he has done to his skin, the thinning hair and the overall shlubiness, he is like a 3.5-4 Lizzie was like a 5.5-6. based on what I saw, Jasmine is a solid 7, IMO. He is.one of those guys that think women are shallow if they are out for looks or material gain....but he will only settle for a woman who is much better looking than him. In a perfect world, Angela and Scott would be an item.

Was classy the word? LOL

I respect this opinion, but fully disagree with it and am deeply saddened that an actor with all the privileges and advantages who faked a hate crime for attention, standing and money is the beneficiary of this mindset. To me, this isn't a "win" at all, or a great balancing of the scales in any way.
-
I see. I don't think it's blase to recognize that there is a far greater risk in accepting jussie smollett back onto that show, actively supporting and rewarding him for faking a hate crime. It sucks that there would be collateral damage, but it always sucks when there is collateral damage, but I don't think that means that you accept something like this because of that. Not sure about jobs falling out of the sky, but I know that it is a golden age for content creation. Hulu, Netflix, Amazon prime, even YouTube are all creating original content. There are more cable channels now than there have ever been. Everyone is shifting towards scripted vs. reality content so I cannot see how it would be impossible to get another job as an experienced crew member off a hit tv show. Also, do crew members really think that working on a television show is a job that lasts forever?
-
The sad thing is, they really don't. But, I think that the message is important enough to risk the collateral damage. I also think that there is so much content now being created that an experienced crew member should be able to find another job. * I also don't know what rme means?

The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley

As a diabetic, I think that more work needs to be done on the disease, for sure. But I cannot complain about a lot about blood glucose. The glucose machines used to be like the size of a small Walkman and it took nearly a minute to get a result and it had to be coded and the blood sample had to be a fairly large drop.of blood. Now, my glucose machine is like the size of a car fob, it requires a tiny amount of blood and it takes 5 seconds to get a result, which reads directly to my insulin pump. Now I still don't test it enough, but that's my laziness. And there is also continuous glucose monitoring. The field has advanced. But I agree with people who say that running 200+ tests in your house is probably unnecessary. Like there are some results that a lot of people need and generally it would be helpful to beam those results to doctors to titrate dosage....like TSH, a1c, and lipid panel results are two I can think of. There is a doctor in the room who can probably come up with more but I'm not sure 200+ is really necessary. -
To me THIS is the heart of the matter. If you don't want to talk to someone you don't pick up the phone. But I think he likes the dynamic where she is the fruitcake insane girl and he is the calm and collected victim. I agree with the poster who said he likes to feel superior to her. I had a friend once and we got into a big argument. Towards the end, he would make a point and then end it with a "now fuck off" or "now go away" and I'd respond to the point he made, and he would.continue to engage. When I was finally done, I was done, he texted multiple times and I simply didn't respond. And to this day, I still don't respond. Because the best way not to talk to.someone is not to talk to someone. People who continue to engage don't want to be left alone.

Fraud and/or contractual breach. He promised to take care of her, and she detrimentally relied on said promise. He knew he never had the money to keep princess Lizzie in $30 scratch off tickets and prison ramen forever! Shady!!

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/3280218002 LOL, this kinda makes me hope they try to put jussie back on empire and the blowback is so massive that the entire show gets cancelled, because I'm starting to think that it's what all these cast members deserve for putting their neck out for a guy who faked a hate crime.

https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/3298234002 Anthony Anderson says that he hopes jussie smollett wins the NAACP image award. "I hope he wins," Anderson added. "I’m happy for him that the system worked for him in his favor because the system isn’t always fair, especially for people of color. So I’m glad it worked out for him." This is shades of OJ all over again "yeah, he did it, but the system is unfair to poor, underserved minorities, so it's a win even when any minority gets off, even if they did do it" This is the guy we want the system to benefit? Was it okay that OJ benefitted from the rightfully rage poor minorities had at police brutality? Right now Curtis flowers sits on death row in Mississippi, after being tried six times for a crime he probably didn't commit. When THAT guy gets out, it will be something worth celebrating. That will be something to be happy about, not this. Goodness. Maybe we should celebrate when the system works out to exonerate or clear someone who deserves it?

I think that's an important sentiment, but realistically I think everyone know or knows OF someone who did something terrible but didn't get caught or weren't punished for it. He seems like a pathological liar and I think people like that are really good at being convincing liars. We only know what we know, and jussie smollett has made sure that the record is sealed so no one can fully know the truth. And he doesn't appear in any rush to explain all the inconsistencies. So...while I think innocent until proven guilty is nice, I think most everyone kinda thinks oj did it, even though he technically wasn't "proven" guilty.

LOL, they are getting downright arrogant now. It would be funny if it wasn't sure pathetic.

The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley

I think that Holmes "idea" was eventually that the Edison was going to be treated like a blood glucose meter, which tests your blood with generally reliable results and uses a drop of blood. There are more than a million reasons why that wouldn't work, but I think that was probably part of how she sold it. It's all style over substance. She couldn't be TOO obvious about trying to sell her young blonde Barbarella that was trying to seduce old men routine. -
Most grandparents I know have their own lives to lead and want to enjoy their freedom. They want to see their grandchildren but not be obligated to watch them all the time. It's a decision for each person, but it shouldn't be an obligation. My brother's mother in law was insistent that she watch my nephews everyday because neither could talk and she didn't trust outsiders. My brother and his wife had more than enough money to afford a nanny, but she was insistent. That's a choice, not an obligation, and even then I think that it was difficult for her to watch two babies under five all day long. It was a burden, but one she wanted to undertake for her own reasons. She cut back significantly once they started to talk and my brother and his wife were totally fine with it. Because it wasn't an obligation. To me, that is different than Sarah's situation. Also, driving cross country to visit grandkids is not, IMO, the same as being obligated to watch them all the time. My dad makes a 45 minute drive to pick up my nephew from school every Friday and generally does the community service hours at his preschool. But he is not obligated to do any of that, he gleefully volunteers for it. If he decided one day he didn't want to do it or if he didnt feel like it that day or he was just tired, its fine. I don't think that's an option for Sarah's grandparents, because it's an obligation. As a matter of course, I'm sure I was a burden to my stay at home mother, but I was also her responsibility since I was her kid. I have no problem considering myself a burden because I think having to vigilently and constantly watch out for another tiny human being is a burden. Even if you love that tiny human being.
-
I think that depends on the person, and it should be a choice not an obligation. Watching children is hard work, people shouldn't be obligated to do it every day for their grandchildren and I generally think it's a selfish position to put grandparents in. If they want to do it that's fine, but they shouldn't be obligated to do it. And that's exactly the position Sarah has put her grandparents in. As a 24 year old waitress/student, I doubt she has money for daycare or a nanny, so watching aviahna isn't a choice, it's an obligation. They can't have the freedom to just take off when they want, if they want to take a trip they have to plan for avaihna like she is their child, their responsibility and she is not, she is Sarah and Michael's responsibility. And now they are going to have the obligation of being tied down to a second kid because sarah enjoys making bad life choices, and sticking everyone else with the responsibility for them.

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/03/27/entertainment/jussie-smollett-wednesday/index.html Interesting. Apparently this ISN'T an exoneration and happens all the time? And apparently the brothers were ready to testify. LOL @ jussie smollett thinking that he was vindicated. For some reason, I think magats also underestimated the fallout from this decision.

Those two probably signed an NDA for the price of a value meal. I wonder if JS is going to continue to use their "training service" since he paid all that money for it. Maybe he should get a refund, all things considered.

Probably working or travelling and.enjoying their life since they have raised their children.....or they are morified by the blaccent and refuse to be on tv
