What I heard was Cheeto Jesus…which I actually hadn’t heard before but kind of like. Re the Whoopie references…haddish said it as she was being informed about winning and wasn’t on the show yet. I much prefer some sucking up to Whoopie, who has actually earned some sucking up on her own (and during times that wasn’t easy for a black somewhat non conforming woman), than AZ Princess getting it second hand through MyFather…she hasnt earned any of that sucking up and it’s a lot more frequent.

Yes. Except he did it to be funny and she does it and then thinks she sounds smart since she never realizes that’s she’s used it incorrectly. And I agree he wasn’t my favorite comedian of that era either.

In addition…I totally agree with what you said about MM…she thinks so highly of herself and how she’s one of those kids with famous parents who got their on her own (as she recently stated)! I doubt she could have gotten through those classes. And That art history degree wouldn’t have gotten her very far without the name and money. And I have no idea what she was trying to say regarding the vaccine and mask messaging. It’s been really clear for those who listen…why isn’t she pushing her tribe to get the message out to the rest of the tribe? I wondered about that interruption as well…no one does that to her when she’s spewing lies and inaccuracies on a daily basis. The rest need to take their cue from her and start correcting her (though then they’d never get to their guests!).

So true…who exactly is she talking about who didn’t get there on their own merits if she thinks she did? She certainly isn’t there in her own merits. Also exactly what did she and her tribe expect from president Biden. …”we were promised he was moderate, would be bipartisan…”…did she somehow think he ran on the Republican platform? He hasn’t done anything so far thats different than what he campaigned on and he isn’t the problem when it comes to bipartisanship. She needs to look at her own tribe for that.(but she never will) And again she avoids the actual question on Rudy but instead concentrated on the neighbor.

That’s why i DVR it so I can FF through her…unless this forum, has noted something particularly funny or stupid.

So I guess Fox isnt mainstream to her? Otherwise how is she the only conservative around? And what about people like Nicole wallace, Ana, etc…she needs to define “ “conservative” because otherwise she spouts nonsense and clearly her definition isn’t the normal one. I’m so sick of her touting herself this way…and why has t anyone called her on this? And she really needed to get that shout out for hubby…does he need the free ad or is he really the most influential website? As far as I can tell he doesn’t always deal in facts as well.. and I think the reason these sites and programs are popular is because they tell people what they want to hear and they have the right scapegoats for everything that’s wrong for their audience. Not because they deal in facts. And why the h..ll doesn’t she ever answer the actual question? Also, Sunny is correct…once it’s been said, the later retraction becomes somewhat irrelevant. Those who listen will simply say it’s political correctness and they had to pretend to apologize.

Glad to see that sunny mentioned that the number of cases in children is in the rise and can have serious complications. I swim at a center that has children there for preschool as well as a virtual school program (for working parents, kids bring their computer and attend their own school virtually with an adult overseeing them, etc). All of these kids are wearing masks, including the 3 and 4 year olds, without any issues. It can be done. (Btw, the center is following all state covid regulations with these programs). I do feel for parents like that mom in the clip, but the reality is that this thing kills. And strangely, those who won’t get vaccinated and complain about not returning to normal are the ones who will keep us all from returning to normal. am on the west coast, and joy referred to Jenner as she in her intro of the topic and later. Did they re-film this somehow? At the end she did use “he” and immediately corrected to “she”. Odd.

Exactly! During the protests in seattle last summer the police had set up a barricade and the protestors were set up away from that. Some guy in a car plowed through the protestors, got out with a gun and started walking towards the police and gets all the way there. They did nothing...so of course he was white. Does anyone think a POC would have made it more than a foot towards them before he or she was mowed down?

I think part of her issue is that she really does stand with the police on all of these but knows she can’t appear to be too racist. So on george Floyd she feels it’s safer to agree the police overstepped but I’m not sure she fully believes it herself. Re friends in police and military, I guess she thinks it makes her an expert even though everyone know it doesn’t. I think she’s trying really hard to feel she’s as good and smart and in the know as everyone else. I wonder at the dynamic with her husband...does he make her feel smart and superior or does he do the opposite?

I think some of them missed the facts (though I believe Joy noted it). My understanding is that there will still be classes in the classics miso a major. Universities have been doing this for years...closing departments that simply aren’t getting enough students majoring in it to make it economical. Sounds like that’s what they did but students will still have some classics classes available. and was that a subtle dig by Sara at MM when Sara noted that she went to Smith? Like two can play the one up/Ivy League game?

One thing I like about the british acting community is that they cross over a lot...doing TV, movies and stage. They aren’t compartmentalized in the same way as US actors are. And they don’t see things as beneath them to do. I think most of their female actors are allowed to age more gracefully as well.

Noticed that, as usual, mm used most of her segment on Afghanistan to talk about herself, her family of vets, her military friends and on and on before even attempting to answer the actual question. I guess proximity to veterans is enough for her tribe and makes her an expert on vets?

They apparently have a good marriage for 20 years...something not always seen with Hollywood couples. I assume that’s why the panel “gushed” so why would any interviewer bring that up? I thought it was a nice interview.

Loved Whoopie s statement on the GA law...well done! Joy looked good today. MM...the swawell thing isn’t the same as sex trafficking minors. Her tirade on GA was also a bit disingenuous but what else is new? The election board thing Whoopie mentioned is a big one too. She was on a roll today! Anyone else find adams voice annoying? I think it’s supposed to be soothing, but not to me.

OK. a bit of I just heard what you all were talking about...she actually said that she’s the last remaining conservative woman in mainstream tv??? I think there are lots of women on Fox (or is she saying that’s not mainstream), CNN, MSNBC who might disagree. And, BTW, no one is feeling sorry for you MM. And some false modesty re the many times she mentioned that she trends on Twitter.

Meghan is the one who does this the most though...no excuses for her. was it my imagination or did Sunny and Sara sort of suck up to MM today re the miscarriage and then the suggestions she gave to Sara about Twitter? Weird. She so craves attention.

In addition, there is other aid for other farmers...it’s not a situation that only POC farmers are getting aid but they have a specific pot from the whole (for the reason mckavity said). Also, it’s all farmers of color, not just black. I really wish the show fact checked more.
