  1. I bet they didn't even explain why Emily and JJ turned down their job offers. That wouldn't surprise me.
  2. It made sense for Garcia to leave ages ago, when she started acting like a juvenile, unprofessional, attention craving, obnoxious, spoiled little twit.
  3. Exactly ! And by focusing on the team as a whole, they would've been in neutral territory and less likely to make viewers fume. But I shouldn't be too shocked actually. Come to think about it, this was bound to happen eventually. 'Cause this is what you get when a cray-cray or a bunch of cray-crays get into their stupid heads to take a character that should've remained a supporting one behind her computer and start giving her way too much attention since season 2 or 3, going as far as making her the target of unsubs a few times just to give her unneeded focus.
  4. Penelope Garcia, BAU's insufferable, petulant little gnat, who makes everything about her, and is responsible for me not even wanting to watch the last hour of a show I've watched for 11 seasons.
  5. Why ? So she could have one more person on screen to worship at her childish and insufferable self on the last moments of the show ? Because, you know, 7 profilers and their significant others and the other guests, not to mention all the viewers from over the world, couldn't possibly be enough for Miss Penelope-40+ year old attention seeking brat-Garcia.
  6. So let me get this straight. Seven profilers risk their lives every day to save victims/potential victims, and to put dangerous psychos away, and instead of celebrating what they've accomplished along the years, commiserating a bit over their lost battles, they devote the last episode of the series to the immature and annoying tech who hasn't grown the least in 15 years ? Wow ! I've said it before (many times to myself and once or twice here) and I'll say it again, for the life of me, I could never understand why everyone always worshipped at the altar of Garcia and walked on eggshells around her. And the idea that she was the heart of the show is ludicrous. Hotch was the heart of the show. But if we don't want one character to be considered as that, the group of profilers as a whole is. But certainly not Penelope-I'm so not modest I need to remind everyone in every single episode and almost every single scene how good I am-Garcia. Just the other day, I caught her saying to Alvez : "You should worship at my altar Luke Alvez !" And my reaction was : "Remind me again why he should..." And over the years, Garcia has always been shown to be THE less humble character of the team. And, well, it was bad enough as it was, but never in my wildest, most horrible nightmares would I ever think they'd make it even worst by dedicating the last episode of a 15 year old show to her. Just... wow ! I have no words...
  7. Ok thanks. But I wish they had shown another scene of him. Like when he's in the conference room with the team, saying "Wheels up...", or on the plane, giving instructions to everyone, or with his FBI jacket on, preparing for an attack.... you know, the kind of scenes where he was in control and made my mouth drop just looking at him. ***sighs***
  8. Wow ! A party for immature woman child Garcia ? Doesn't sound like something I really wanna watch.
  9. Even though I was far from being as connected to the show as I was during the first 7 seasons, I still feel nostalgic at the idea that in a few hours it's gonna be a thing of the past. On another note, look what we have here ! The return of Spencer-Eternal-Damsel-In-Distress-Reid. Just in time for the finale of the show. Yepeeeeeee !!!
  10. I had the exact same thought last night. I'm sensing that neither JJ or Emily will be accepting their job offer.
  11. I really didn't expect that job offer for Emily. I was so sure the decision she was gonna face in last night's episode had to do with moving to Denver or not. And I was worrying about a demotion. But wow ! FBI director ? That's one heck of a promotion, and I'm proud that she has been considered for the position. HOWEVER, I don't know if that job would fit her. People change of course, but the Emily I've met 13 years ago would get bored to death in a political job.
  12. I'm aware of those interviews too. But those talks never translated on screen. From the very beginning, Emily talked to Morgan about her dates with men and how they went wrong. Then she kind of flirted with that policeman in "Lo-Fi" and seemed a bit attracted to Mick Rawson. Not to mention Mark, the unscreen boyfriend she seems to have never had.
  13. I'm aware of the JJ/Emily fandom. I believe they call it Jemily ? But like you said, in reality, there has never been any indication of Emily liking women. At all.
  14. When was Emily ever written as a lesbian character though ?
  15. Oh but I have absolutely nothing against Andrew following his daughter to Denver. I respect him a lot for that. And of course children come first ! But Keely is his child, not Emily's. And Emily isn't his wife, and their relationship is fairly new. Besides, the relationship they started was in DC. It's him who changed things by moving, which I repeat, I do not fault him for . So just like he has every right to go where his daughter is, she also has every right to be hesitant about putting her whole life upside down for him. I'd say the same if the roles were reversed too.
  16. Man ! I'm so torn about this relationship. On one hand, I like Andrew a lot, I think he cares about Emily, and I am beyond happy, thrilled that she finally has a good, smart and caring guy in her life, someone she can rely on outside the BAU team (Thanks at last writers ! I've only been hoping and waiting for that since season 3 but who's counting ?). And I was 50 % convinced that in the beginning of this season, we would hear that the relationship already ended, so I'm thankful it still exists. But on the other hand, I, just like Emily, am not ready to see her give up on a job and a career she loves and has worked so hard for, for the sake of a man she hasn't even been dating that long. Which, judging by a) the last quote of "Rusty", said by Emily herself, b) the spoilers for next week, seems to be exactly where it's heading. I mean, to quote E, "What if it doesn't work out ?" Then what ? She would have made that big sacrifice for nothing ? Even though Andrew said : "What I want is you. I want us.", the truth is he wants both his daughter and Emily, which is perfectly fine. But Emily should be the one to move her life upside down so he could have everything he wants. In other words, the man wants his cake and to eat it too. And what's gonna be Emily's next job ? Is she gonna accept a lesser position for Andrew ? If so, he better devote his time and energy making it up to her for as long as they stay together because he will be one lucky guy to have Emily Prentiss give up a high profile job like that for him. **Sighhhhhs...** Oh well, at least like I said, he seems to care about her for real. So maybe it might be worth her changing her whole life drastically ? I certainly don't want her to end up alone again. I don't know.... Side notes : 1. I'm so glad the only person who knew about Andrew living in Denver for the last three months was my man Rossi. And that E confided nothing about her problems with her long distance relationship to anyone but Dave. For a moment there, when JJ came into her office, I was afraid I was gonna get the "girlies" talk (gag me), but either the writers were somehow on my side, or they too know that Emily's best exchanges are with Rossi, so I got spared and got RossEmily convo instead. Yeah !!! Lawd I love those two so much ! Whatever the conversations they've had since season 3, they've always been the best to me. Yes, I know Rossi offers fatherly advices to every member of that too big of a team, but with Emily it always seems more... special. I could be biased because they are my two favorite remaining characters, but that's the way I see it. 2. Emily and Andrew teamed up pretty well to nail Brenda despite their problems. I love it when professionals can remain professional on the job and don't let their romantic feelings overtop their duties. 3. Keely is such a nice, bright girl. I'm so glad she doesn't seem like a spoiled little brat who's gonna make things harder for E because she wants to see Daddy reunite with Mommy. 4. I loved the hand holding between Andrew & Emily at the dinner table. Such a sweet, intimate gesture. 5. I saw that third plate too by the way. I guess Andrew was hoping Emily would stop by after all, despite him saying he thought she left huh ? That was an interesting... detail. 6. I loved the beginning scene with Garcia and Emily. E was all distracted, looking kind of sadly at all those happy couples who were coming and going next to her, while Penelope was all babbling about her car and her series. It reminded me that Garcia can be so endearing at times. I must admit she made me smile in that scene. 7. Shut up Garcia ! How old is that woman-child anyway ? 13 ? Why does she ALWAYS manage to do something to make me smh and rme at her in every episode I watch ? I can never be happy with her throughout an entire show. Asking Emily all of those private questions about her boyfriend in front of the whole rest of the team like that ? What he sleeps in too ? Seriously ???!!!??? I swear Keely Mendoza-Smith seems way more mature than Garcia. 8. t's funny how I've always wanted E to have a little girl (You know writers, the need for motherhood she clearly expressed in the beginning of season 3, which you went ahead and fulfilled for JJ instead, remember ?) and here she is dating a man with a daughter. It's as if the writers were kind of reading my mind (for once). If Andrew was a widower and Keely was younger, Emily could've even adopted her and one of my wishes for her would become true. Oh well, can't have everything, I should probably be counting my blessings that they gave us, poor undeserving Emily fans, so much after so long. 9. Even though I adored the end scene, where was Emily's big epiphany moment ? You know, the one where she realized that "Oh ! Dave was right. What Andrew and I have is worth the effort" ? One minute she was avoiding him, saying how she didn't feel like giving up on her life to be with him, and the next, she was all smile with him and his daughter, holding hands. I feel like we went from one story to another with no transition in between. 10. I can't say I didn't feel bad for Kyle despite his horrific crimes. Poor guy ! 11. I loved the "Mandela effect" talk. I never knew such thing existed. 12. Loved how Reid explained the signs and how Andrew was fast to understand it. 13. Here comes chief JJ, I can feel it. And I'm sure everyone and their mamma can feel it. Makes me wonder if this whole Andrew relocating to Denver wasn't just an excuse found by the writers to remove Emily from the unit chief position and give it to JJ to begin with ? Otherwise, how else would they be able to explain Emily suddenly giving up on it ? Yup ! The more I think about it, the more I suspect that's the truth behind this plot. Which I wouldn't even care about to tell the truth (the show's ending after all) if it didn't mean demotion for E.
  17. The only things I liked about the Simmons scenes were : 1) Emily drinking wine and eating donuts but not lifting a finger to help them with their stupid crib 2) the little convo she and Rossi had about her neighbor (the "cuckoo" as E put it, loll) who was suing her, because any scene between RossEmily is gold to me and I can never get enough of them. 3) Emily saying "I don't know. Fifteen ?" when Simmons asked how many kids she thought they had. ROTFLOL because she echoed a post I wrote about that subject a few months ago when season 14 ended. I thought it was rude of her to say it in his face like that, but I still laughed. Other than that, if Emily & Rossi hadn't been part of those scenes, I would've fastforwarded them with great pleasure, since thank goodness ! I don't watch the show live. That's how much I care about Simmons and his family. Once Emily left the building, I was soooo tempted to hit the FF button, but I've never fastforwarded a Rossi scene so... And why is Simmons complaining about his financial problems ? Who asked him to have so many kids ? Haven't he and his wife ever heard of a little thing called "Birth Control" ? RME. And then she has the nerves to say "We'll figure it out " ? Well how about you two figure it out when you have your 10th kid and in the meantime you leave Dave and the rest of the world alone ?
  18. I know right ? Fortunately, I don't watch the show live, so I can choose which episodes and which scenes I wanna watch. And Simmons' family scenes are definitely not among those. Even in the "Saturday" episode, I only watched his scenes because my two faves Emily and Dave were in. Otherwise, my FF button would've been put to great use.
  19. I'm not sure either, but I'll take a guess. Even though I didn't see when Alvez first started at the BAU, ever since the 3rd episode of season 12, I've seen Garcia act like a spoiled little twit towards him for no reason. So why would he want to see his friend date an unsufferable 40+ year old woman-child like her ? If I were him, I'd be shouting at the top of my lungs : "Run ! Run for your life Phil ! As far away of that brat as you can !" But since everyone ansand
  20. Even though I know what Abby looks like from the cast pics I've seen, I've never actually watched NCIS, so I can't tell what that character acts like. However, after watching Garcia for 10 whole seasons, I simply find it hard to believe that there is any other character on any other show who could be as ridiculous as her. Nope, that just can't exist. And I'm not even talking about her non sensical outfits, I could deal with that (though the cat ears at work are a really tough pill to swallow for me). My first favorite female TV character was Mary Frances "Frankie" Frame on soap opera Another World, and she wore the most hideous outfits ever seen on a Daytime heroïne, and she was an excentric character too, yet I loved her to pieces. It's Garcia's general immaturity and juvenile attitude and reactions that I find more mind boggling and out of place for a show like CM. How she got admitted in the FBI in the first place is a mystery to me. And what's even more... intriguing (for lack of a better word) is that she hasn't grown one bit after 14 years. She was a 20+ year old immature brat when she started at the BAU, and now, after 14 years of witnessing human beings' misery and suffering, she's a 40+ year old immature brat. Can you believe it ? I'd lie if I said I've never liked Garcia at any moment of the show. There are moments when I find her very endearing. But overall, Penelope Garcia is the epitome of ridiculousness. As for Morgan & Garcia, they were the epitome of gross.
