  1. Ok thanks. So what was the point of having JJ profess her love to Reid if they planned on giving him another love interest ? I don't even know that woman yet (and chances are I never will), but I already feel bad for her if the plan is to use her in some kind of "JJ gets so jealous and hurt she decides to fight to get her man" vortex of suck scenario.
  2. "Cook" ? Is she related to AJ Cook or is it just a coincidence ?
  3. Cat Adams ? Oh no ! I like Reid enough to not want him to end up with a psychopath of that sort.
  4. Really ???!!??? And here I tougth it was their 11th. The fact that I can't even keep up with the number should tell you how much I (don't) care.
  5. I never got why they didn't explore Reid and that lovely, sassy bartender from "52 Pick-Up". Many people say that Maeve was the perfect woman for him, but having only read about her and their short-lived romance, I can't have any opinion on that. But I found him and that bartender pretty sparkling and regretted that it didn't go further.
  6. Well considering that : A. There's only 10 episodes left to end the show B. The first few of those 10 eppys will be dedicated to the Reid/JJ telenovela and to giving JJ a 2nd devoted love interest (as if one wasn't enough) C. Newbie Simmon's personal and emotional life and family (including the cringe worthy "I'm-so-horny-for-my-hen" scene in season 13) have been shwocased way more in 2 seasons than Emily's in 9. Heck ! even the oldest of his 12 brats has had more story in the last 3 years than Emily. D. The newbie's having an umpteeth lil' brat, so yepeeeee ! we need an episode or 2 for that E. Messer and her staff are clearly more invested in enlarging Simmon's chicken coop than they are in giving Emily just one person as a support system outside the BAU F. They're also clearly way more invested in Alvez' personal life than in Emily's, so expect for him to also get 1 or 2 episodes next season to further depict his individual stories So yes, considering all that, I'd say the chances of them exploring Emily's non Bau relationships are pretttty inexistent. Even if they had the slightest desire to do it (which they don't), they wouldn't be able to in the small frame of time that will be left. Honestly, I'd say there's likely more chances for the show's final scene to be about Simmon's 15 th kid taking his/her first steps or going to kindergarten (unless it is about Alvez' wedding with his current girlfriend) than there is for Emily to get a significant relationship away from the BAU after 10 seasons on the show. And you (generally speaking) wonder why I'm not willing to give season 15 the time of the day ?
  7. Oh great ! Newbie Simmons and his hen of a wife are having yet another kid. That must be what ? their 7th or 8th ? And yet it is sooooo important (for whom, really ? Is there even one viewer out there who cares ?) that not only it has to be announced on screen but it also requires for the arrival of said kid to be filmed ? Seriously ??!!?? RME Meanwhile, other characters who've been there longer (Emily, Garcia, Reid, Lewis) have been struggling for years to get even 1 freaking little date, and in Emily's case, even 1 freaking family member who cares about her and is in contact with her. But noooooo, let's continue to ignore those who have NOTHING, even as the show is coming to an end, and give the newbie a bigger chicken coop instead. Aaaaaand, to frustrate and insult the fans of the neglected characters even more, let's also make a big fuss about the newbie's umpteeth kid. RMFE That "logic" of MESSer and her staff is truly mind boggling and infuriating. I swear, each time I read the boards, I find yet another reason to stay away from that upcoming awful season 15. SMH
  8. Well look at the bright side (my philosophy in life), it's possible that each time JJ was kissing and sexing up her hubby for the last 10 years, she was actually thinking of kissing and sexing up Reid. Way to boost a man's ego (Reid's that is, not poor Will's, lol) ! Once Reid realizes that, he'll never regress to his awkward boyish self ever again. I think it's the first time he will feel like a manly man. Aren't you happy about that ? You'll owe it to SuperJJ !
  9. Yeah, there's that too. So you should've said : "Also REMEMBER!" instead of "But". Lol
  10. Hummm, you'll excuse me if this seems out of topic, but since it's been said in this very thread that Emily Prentiss would put her career above everything and everyone else, I just thought it wouldn't be inappropriate for me to bring up a few examples to... illustrate that statement. So let's see : 1. When she refused to do Strauss' dirty job to spy on and rat out Hotch (which might have given a big push to her career or at the very least ensure her place at the BAU), but chose to quit her job instead ("In Name and Blood") 2. When she was given clear instructions to not give anyone in that room any infos about the poison that had already made a few victims, but was ready to disobey Hotch's orders with no hesitation (which would've obviously put her career at risk) because Reid was in danger and she thought the best way to help him was to let people know what was up, protocol be damned. ("Amplification") 3. When she erased Reid's tape confession ( which action I'm sure she knew could come back to bite her in the future and potentially ruin her career) because she couldn't take the risk of letting the prosecution get their hands on it thus finding Reid guilty ("Spencer", if I'm not mistaken) 4. When Linda Barnes asked her to get rid of Rossi and Reid (a "small" sacrifice that would've allowed her to keep her job and might even have advanced her career), and she sort of replied : "Screw you !" instead, despite knowing full well what could happen to her career next. ("Miasma") I was going to add : 5. When she immediately identified herself as the FBI agent sent to investigate cult leader Benjamin Cyrus and took the beat down of her life at the hands of that unsub (And no, I don't think she knew for sure that he wouln't kill her or even worst, rape her), all so she could protect Reid from being hurt by Cyrus ("Minimal Loss"). Until I realized it wasn't a good example because her career wasn't at stake then, yet the point of this post is precisely to try and establish how Emily Prentiss has proven time after time that "she would put her career over everything and everyone else". So please disregard this last example. I'll reserve it (and a few others) for when it's time to demonstrate that she would also put her life and safety above everything and everyone else. P.S. Those are just a few examples at the top of my head. I'm sure I could come up with a few others, but I don't wanna "derail" this thread any longer. *** Mission accomplished. Retreats back quietly. ***
  11. If any character past and present is gonna be turned into an unsub, I vote for it to be SuperNinjaKung-Fu barbie aka JJ. She already looks like one anyway.
  12. I didn't watch the show nor do I intend to do so, because from what I'm reading, it sounds like a huge waste of time, which means I was absolutely right to throw it in the trash before it even aired. All I'm gonna say is that after this, the JJ character will truly deserve the "Cold B*tch" label some people have put on her for years. Because to have made a man who's been nothing but loving and supportive to you for years think you loved him and were in love with him for what ? 9-10 years ? when the truth is you've been salivating over another one this whole time, it takes a real queen B*tch to do that. I knew I had good reasons to dislike this character as much as I do : everything about her screams FAKE. Also, Hotch & Emily was a No, No when they were both single, despite their vocal fan base, but they can do Reid/SuperJJ despite one of them being married with 2 kids, right ? Ooook. Like someone else said, this stupid show should have ended after season 7.
  13. Now watcha talkin' about ? Makes perrrrfect sense to me that CM's designated favorite damsel in distress, aka Spencer Reid, would be held hostage both at the beginning and at the end of the same season. If JJ wasn't with him this time, it would be someone else of course, or he would be alone, but he sure as heck would be part of the equation. Because... well... you know, he's the primary distressed damsel of the show, originality be damned. LOL So a scenario of two characters in peril that does not include "our boy genius" is simply not an option, because there's just no way in hell they'd ever try to be a little bit more creative and give his perfect victim spot to another agent. Naaah, it's a Reid's "privilege" and that's it. If I know that when I've only watched 10 seasons, you people should know even better after watching 14. What ? Did you really think those lazy writers were finally gonna come out of their comfort zone after 14 years to surprise you/us ? No way ! In fact, if the Award of "Laziness, Predictability And Total Lack Of Originality" existed, then CM's writing staff should and would definitely win it. Why ? Because they've earned it, baby ! I mean, all those long hours working at NOT being creative each year for over a decade must be really exhausting you know. It takes real pros to do that good of a job, so it would only be fair for their "hard" work to finally pay off. Lollll And while we're at it, maybe they should also create the Award of "Most Often Held Hostage And Kidnapped Male Damsel In Distress On A Primetime Show". MGG would win it hands down. Lollll ☺️ Seriously though, at this point, "The Tales Of Reid In Distress" have become really old and laughable. RME and SMH while LOL.
  14. See ? What did I say ? Less lucky than me, that doesn't exist. I swear... Oh well, at least I got a heads up, and I'm very grateful for that. Season 15 hasn't even begun yet and I can already start making a list of the episodes I don't even wanna know anything about and which I will purposely miss. That is the true beauty of the internet, baby, Lol. That precious time will be saved to do my laundry (a task that sounds so exciting all of a sudden) while imagining what it would be like to have Hotch, Rossi and a not dead Gideon on screen all three at once working on a case together. Definitely, infinitely more exciting than the perspective of watching some stupid "Reid's mamma" show. Life lesson : When facing an unpleasant situation, ALWAYS try to look at the bright side if there is one. It helps.
  15. Messer's a known liar. But in Reid's case, she probably meant to give him some focus on this season's " Reid's Minds " errrrr I mean " Criminal Minds ", and then all of the sudden she remembered his 10 episodes arc not so long ago, not to mention all those other episodes each season from the beginning of the show 14 years ago, that focused on Reid, Reid, Reid all the damn time. And so she probably told her writers : "What the heck ! Enough focus on that character for a while. He needs a rest. Don't give him squat now until the end of the show." Lawd knows there are a lot of things I hate about Messer, but (assuming that's what went down of course), this isn't one of them, lollll. And I say this as someone who's never hated Reid and has come to like him over the last 2 seasons. But I just find too much focus on one character in an ensemble show C.R.I.N.G.E worthy. And I couldn't care less if said character is " our boy genius ". Reid is overrated and I won't be mad if he gets no special episode even in the last season (Knowing my luck in wishes, of course he'll get at least one, and his mamma too, RME.), because they already made it up to him for 12 friggin years.
  16. That's the million dollar question for me too. The one I've been asking myself ever since I've read the reviews and comments about "Chameleon". Good to see I'm not the only one who finds it puzzling. It makes me wonder if I should watch that episode after all to see if I could find the answer.
  17. Man ! If it's just as bad and lasts just as long as the JJ, Reid and Morgan show (and that's a big " If ", because I haven't watched since "Flesh and Blood"), then I can definitely relate to your pain. Definitely.
  18. Thanks a lot for the explanation. It's good to know. Lollllll For real ? Or just kidding ? It's hilarious though.
  19. Even though Reid seems to have grown from the impulsive cry baby he used to be, I still feel that him being Unit Chief would be like a train wreck waiting to happen. But of course, if he does get the position at the end of the show, we won't actually get the opportunity to notice and criticize his potential shortcomings as a group leader. How... convenient it would be.
