  1. Just watched. God, ugh, just ugh. Mike can go choke on his scorpion from the early episode in the season. The past month or so of episodes just wilted under him always winning everything and there being no opportunity to derail the season ending in his triumph. Mama C got robbed because she truly did play the better game without an immunity run. Jenn was and always will be the suckiest suck that ever sucked....and pompous and arrogant to boot. Her pontificating to the jury was ridiculous. Good on Rodney for staying true to Will to the end with his vote. The Reunion: Tough to say who go screwed more. This cast or the cast where they woudn't let most of them on stage because "the stage wasn't big enough" yeah, right...Brandon Hantz had nothing to with the incredible shrinking stage. Giving over half the show to deifying past contestants who many I can barely remember was just egregious. On top of all that Dan...who I intensly dislike...totally was thrown under the bus in a way that racist Aryn Gries on BIG BROTHER never was. Julie Chen didn't even go to the clips and let her off in about two minutes. Dan meanwhile got (If I may quote Jackie Gleason's Sherriff in Cannonball Run) got his ass barbequed in mollasses by Jeff Probst. That was merciless. I didn't like it. I wish we could have heard what Will's wife was shouting. Sharin...what can I say...people are fickle. Back when she was weirdly running around naked except for a bra comments about her were overwhelming negative. Then the incident happened and suddenly she got a lot of support in the comments. I feel ambivalent about her...I think Will was trying to be sincere but she didn't have it in her to be the better person and accept. I hope we don't spend all next season with her story arc being a fixation on what went down with will. Let's hope she and SURVIVOR don't go there. Jeff pimping out Joe was one of the grossest moments on any Reunion show. Yeah, he's a good looking guy but not a great player. Rodney looked like he aged 20 years from the time on the island.
  2. Say whaaaaa? Mike is an oil rig worker and has never been in a helicopter? Every book, tv show movie I have read or seen always has people flying out to the drill platform. Anyway...the best way for a season to tank is when everything keeps going one person's way continually....its been this way for Mike for so many ways I have lost count. It really saps any fun out of something when basically someone is Superman and there is no Kryptonite to be found. Early on I use to even like him but his good fortune is boring. This is a dreadful, dreaful cast and I don't want any of these people to go home with their lives enriched by a million dollars...and even more confounding is that "Second Chances" vote is stacked with people from this season. Are you f'ing kidding me? People keep saying how bad it would be for an all goat final three...but you know what...seeing how horrible this season has been compared to the enteraining brilliant previous season...I actually would enjoy watching a jury having to choose between goats...so I guess I am hoping for a Will, Rodney and Sierra at this point.
  3. I was annoyed at Jeff for dredging up the whole Will/Shririn business after it appeared that it was dealt with in the opening minutes and then dispensed with. It was a storyline I had no interest in seeing revived but Jeff who likes to stir things up couldn't let it go. Meanwhile IF Mike had not been bluffing and carried it out...it would have made on of the best tribal councils in the show's history. Instead he has accomplished nothing but let everyone know that he has an idol instead of keeping it as a secret weapon. Vile Jenn oozes smugness from the jury box. That IC looked designed for Rodney to win...Jeff and the producers must have been crushed when it didn't work out that way. Lastly Blue Team was watching too much saturday morning TV if they thought making like animated characters was going to work rolling on those barrels. It never worked out for Shaggy and Scooby Doo so it was unlikely to work for them.
  4. Best episode this season s to three astonishing reversals. MIKE-I have never seen anyone toast their own game in such a spectacular manner. Pullng the stunt at the auction and then ruining the loved one letters. Unbelievable poor game play and judgment. WILL-When from a non entity to become an actual character on the show. I am squarely in his corner. Sharin was talking smack about him and deserved to be called out. About Sharin...she suffers from what I call the Fred Goldman syndrome. There isn't a person with a soul back in 1994 that wouldn't feel immense pity and sympathy for this man and his loss. But after 20 years of listening to him play the victim card whenever TV news trots him out I can't tolerate him anymore when ever he is on. He's beat it into the ground so much that I can't feel anything for him anymore ...if Will is to believed and Sharin is constantly playing the victim card is no wonder she elicts no sympathy, RODNEY-Dare I say it but he almost emerged as a hero when calling Mike out at tribal. I actually found myself cheering for him. YAY to no more Jenn. I've wanted her stuck up rude self of there since episode two. An what's the deal...they have been starving for weeks and yet she still maintained that baby fat on her tummy. Maybe she was the one hoarding food. Lastly there is just something shifty about Tyler that I don't like. If this ultimate coaster wins the whole season somehow it will be a bitter pill.
  5. No spark without Jeff and Jackie. I miss them...no one to root for. Meanwhile Team Truck stop continue to bumble through the race and stay in and please no more about sheltering your kid...I just dont care!
  6. Jenn continues to be a vile person. I've hated her since episode two where she was gleefully talking smack about Vince. She comes on here purporting to be a fan of the show and then goes through all these gymnastics and contortions to try and get HERSELF voted out. No, way, no how would anyone who is a REAL fan of this show ever do that. I think she just wanted out to be able to go and slam down drinks with Hali at loser's lodge. In other news Joe's fake idol was pretty damn good...and who knew that if Rodney dropped his whole "gumba" schtick he would make a pretty good heir apparent for Rich Little. Sharin for the win? I'm starting to think in some crazy universe this could happen.
  7. Wow I kind of feel like I dodged a bullet like the Flash in that I almost didn't watch this show after I heard an early review that Barry was like Peter Parker from the Spiderman reboot and I detested Andrew Garfield in that role bu I decided to take a look anyway. The show continues to get better from week to week and I am sorry the season is near its end. About tonight. On any other show it would be hard to take "Beth" as a villain but somehow it just works on THE FLASH...and damn Emily Kinney looks pretty good all cleaned up with styled hair! Don'tk know what to make of THE ATOM. In the comics I read as a kid he shrinks down like ANTMAN but here he seems to be well...kind of ...a poor man's IRON MAN and BR seems to be channelling his role in MIRI and ZACK. Just strange. Poor Cisco...how many times is he going manage to come back from taking a dip in the death pool? I'm glad team FLASH is now in the loop. That was a nice little bit at the end with a quick shot of the Reverse Flash. I wonder if Amanda Pays will be made a regular next season as the new "leader" of Team Flash once Wells is exposed. I know I for one am waiting for some elaborate contortions that will put her in a scene with John Wesley Shipp. Lastly Felicity gets the best line of the night. "She's like a nemesis. I've never had a nemesis! I kind of like it! That was the LOL moment of the night!
  8. Well, I know I will be stepping into the minority camp here but since there series began I have kept watching FOR Detective Cornell. Honestly I think she is the best part of the show. Her scenes previously had an energy to them because of just how CONTROLLED she is if that makes any sense. I like the way she can parry anything Ben says to her and twist it back on him. Juliette Lewis doing a wonderful job and I think this is the best I have seen her. So a Cornell centric episode was right up my alley. As said she keeps me watching because the rest of it can just be trying. I mean the protagonist has to be the dumbest box of rocks ever they way he keeps doing everything you shouldn’t do as the prime murder suspect all the while destroying the lives of his friends and neighbors around him. And then there is his wife…I don’t know if it is the actress (who looks like a poor man’s Kim Raver) or character but I know there is no one else on any other show right now that is just a lifeless killjoy (well Sandrine Holt’s character on THE RETURNED is a close second). She sucks the life right out of this show whenever she is on screen. Lastly I don’t understand setting the store during the holidays when you know you are filming in the dead of summer in North Carolina. A few token references to a heat wave doesn’t cut it. I’ve never been to North Carolina but I am sure that on its warmest day in December it doesn’t look like July out. Why not make the setting say a San Diego suberb or something. Why North Carolina? Hopefully the holiday will have some bearing on the plot by seasons end to justify it.
  9. Man Jeff really did irk me tonight the way he was condescendingly talking to Sharin before the challenge. Back in high school/college I had douches talk to me in that same way implying I had the intelligence of a child...just like Jeff was speaking to her like she was a 5 year old. I dont usually mind Jeff other than his trying to influence votes at tribal but that was over the top. Meanwhile I was hoping we would see the exit of blowhard Dan. He and Ralph Kramden would get along famously as I guess they both think it is funny threatening violence against women to get them to shut up. I really don't like how Joe is dominating all the challenges...it takes the fun out of the game when one person continually wins. Doesn't allow for the apple cart to get upset to much...and just isn't suspensful. On a positive note the box is closing in on the obnoxious, self centered arrogant me!me!me! creature that is known as Jenn. Soon there will be no where left to hide from the vote.
  10. Best episode to date! I was upset that Aubry was messing things up. C after needs to get away from her to have any shot at a normal life.
  11. I love this show do much...why do the ratings have to keep falling?! Great flashbacks to the WINTER SOLDIER events. It was all good except the post credits scene...too lighthearted given how serious things are.
  12. What the heck kind of cliffhanger was that? Rick shoots a douche just a Morgan arrives? That is what the show leaves you with to build anticipation over the summer. Lame...just lame. Anyway its sad a good guy like Architect Husband dies and Nick is still drawing a breath...I so wanted Glenn to pull the trigger. Red Poncho Guy. Some how I feel like he will be someone we see in the spinoff who survies trials on the west coast only to make it all the way to DC just to get Wolfganged.
  13. Well snap! Kelly was the only person that I liked and would have wanted to see enriched by a million dollars. Amazing how the casting was a complete misfire. Last season was filled with a great cast and interesting people like Natalie, Jon and his girlfriend. These guys are just a bunch of dullards. Vile Jenn may be all smug now but it may only buy her three days and I wouldn't be surprised to see her sent packing very soon.
  14. Wow, I can't believe they literally introduced a "Checkov's Gun". After years of surviving zombies the show better not try to shock us with Glenn being murdered at the hands of that lying punk. This was the first "off" episode since probably the hospital shows. Just wasn't feeling it. I didn't like the short cut of skipping Deanna and family intial reaction to Aiden's death. Also I really hate the idea of Michonne turning on Rick. Lastly this show doesn't seem like its building to a big season finale of Rick's group taking over....even Carol stood by and did nothing during the fight. One bit I've wanted to say all season. The credits have always been odd on this show. It took Melissa McBride a long time to make the main credits. Now its the same with Sasha's actress. Why is Abraham's actor in the main credits and she's not having been there longer. Next season if she lives SMG better get bumped up to the main credits!
  15. Totally unfair. They need to revamp tribe swapping so you dont get these lopsided teams. In other news Benn still sucks as a human being.
  16. Way to go Jenny...managing to cataupult yourself into the DISLIKE column for me anyway in just one episode. It would have been enough alone to get there with the whole "cats are scary"...when they are really cute and lovable but piling on Gelani and trying to shaft the enagage couple...she's kind of an out and out villain. I"m glad Gelani finally snapped back at her. Meanwhile the Doc is a passive aggresive prick who would risk losing half a million dollars....to just..well be a passive aggresive prick. Curt bugs! He's such a walking stereotype. Where on the other hand I expected the truck stop guy to live up to his stereotype...and maybe...know how to take the transmission off but he let his partner do it! Also I did not like that the dissasembly took place where other teams could see how it was done. It would have been more fun watching the total clueless struggle rather than grifting knowledge from being able to watch another team. Its an abysmal season but I LOVE Jackie! She's got such a positive happy attitude! She reminds me of the female half of the dating couple from Providence who won a few seasons ago. Wouldn't you know it...the ratings find uptick and now the show will pull a vanishing act until April. Not everyone cares about this whole March Madness mania.
  17. Is it just me or is the menacing vibe they gave Jesse's cigarette smoking husband last week gone the way of Buttons. He seemed very friendly with Rick this episode. Also if..Aaron was following the group and eavesdropping on them with equipment...how is Carol fooling anyone. He should know that she is wolf if sheeps clothing. And good on Emily Kenny and Chad Coleman getting a credit for flashbacks/party scene.
  18. On a night when Rodney's Mom AND The Almighty got disrespected what really leaped out at me was that I haven't heard Texas get dissed so badly since racist Aryn Gries of BIG BROTHER tried to palm off the stuff that came out of her mouth as that's the way they roll in Texas. Outraged quickly exploded on the TWOP boards. C'mon Rodney some people want to live in the Lone Star State. I hope Will realizes that it was a huge mistake to vote out VINCE. Say what you will about the man but he would not have come up with a hairbrained strategy to sit ANYONE out when you needed EVERYONE to plug those holes. Plus he was strong. Jenn I believe is one of the most reprehensible people to ever play the game. I sick of her smug face and her cocky intollerant attitude. I await the day her torch is snuffed. I am struggling desperatly to find someone...anyone to root for this season. For now I guess I'm going to have to go with The State Trooper who has no name but did land one confessional tonight. She seems pretty inoffensive. I miss watching Natalie play this game...now there was the winningest winner whoever won.
  19. THE AMAZING RACE...easily in my top five favorite TV shows of all time...and that's why its so sad to see this pathetic version they are offering up. Idiotic Hashtags, dating couples where the men are completly indistiquishable from each other, selfies and now selfie-sticks...all in a failed attempt to attract a young demo...who are not going to be HOME ON A FRIDAY NIGHT! This show has come so far from the days of Wil and Tara's mad dash in San Francisco to try and beat the Alpha Male team, the endless haybail challenge, Hayden in tears when faced with hundreds of locks and even Boston Rob using a time penalty as strategy. I can't think of a more pathetic ending if this show is cancelled after this season and this meager effort was the swan song. I will give them credit for one thing and that is actually casting a gay couple made up of two men who just happen to be gay as opposed to the usual stereotypes like Bergen and Curt. Well done. Speaking of the Bergen and Curt my cold dead heart was laughing at the one guy completely dissing his partner when he tearfully said he was hoping to find love on the race (translation: his partner just doesn't cut it) I thought that was funny him saying it in front of his partner. Damn I just want to live in a world where someone doesn't have the first name of Bergen. Hayley the HarpyTM does have a nice figure for what that's worth. So in short at this point the only saving grace of this season is Jackie. I like her enthusiasm! I hope she and Jeff and can not only make it to the finish line first but also make it as a couple...then this whole magilla would be worth something.
  20. I like what they are doing with Simmons...even good guys can have a bit of a dark side in certain matters.
  21. OMG...how can you NOT like Lili Taylor?! Love me some Lili Taylor!
  22. Well the entertainment quota just got whacked down a few notches with Vince out. He was great TV and with him goes two truncated storylines....his interest and then turn around on Jenn and his power struggle with Joe. Then we have Nina who totally "Gilliganed" the plan by telling Will what Vince said and that apparently turned the tide and she managed to blow up her own alliance. I felt sorry for her up until that point but that was really, really dumb. The young women were extremely vile this episode. It never ceased to amaze me that twenty something women think they are hot s@#t just because they look good. They fail to realize time goes by quicker than they think and 20 years from now when they are in their mini van looking at their thunderthighs while popping prozac they will be wondering how they got to that place. Shoe meet the other foot. Allegedly there is a state trooper on this show but somebody better put out a BOLO to find her. Quick notes...less Joachim is good. Max is very, very skeevy. Tyler is kind of bland. Post Office guy really is a Rupert wannabe.
  23. I didn't get emotional until the last few seconds when I saw his time at the grave..that my s t made me lose it for some reason. Sarah kind of got short shrift but I guess they used up her grief scenes with Bob.
  24. Just watched now...man it was a Red Letter week in CBS Reality programming for me...SURVIVOR and AMAZING RACE both had the players I wanted to win...actually win! I don't think that has ever happened. Some random observations. Brooke is vile and Rob is a lunk head. What's your natural reaction when lost trying to win a race for a million dollars? Why sit there and ARGUE about getting lost instead of getting moving again! Bethany lost points when the Fireman tried to tell her that his daughter was a big fan and her reaction wasn't a gracious thank you but instead saying they were in a hurry. Not cool. Adam did the best stuntman jump and the whole stuntman thing was way better than the ridiculous David Copperfield trick where we are suppose to believe that the non participating racer is suppose to believe their partner burned to death in the trick. That container challenge was totally WORTHY of a final leg task! To this day I am still stunned in NYC that time on of the final tasks was to eat a pizza...simply unbelievable! And when I heard Misti had to do the task I knew the dentists were done...detail orientated she was not (think the restaurant challenge in Europe). The changing weather at the lighthouse behind each after race confessional was interesting. Phil popping out from behind a crate to eliminate the Wrestlers was a thing of beauty. I figured they were done when I saw only three coast guard boats on station. Must have been a Saturday for L.A. City Hall to be a ghost town. Looks like next season the "pre existing relationship "is out the window ala Eat Sleep and Mingle. And lastly Props the Sweet Scientists...they were adorable throughout and I enjoyed rooting for them. Amy and Maya are great winners and I loved Maya bumrushing Phil for the hug...most enthusiastic and positive racer ever and the Anti-Brooke!
  25. The problem with Kim was she sapped the FUN right out of the game...she had such a locked stranglehold on the game it was deadly dull and her personality was non existant as well. A similar thing happened on BIG BROTHER this summer when Derrick so totally dominated the game it was boring with no suspense. I liked the way Natalie played...she took chances that should have sent her to the jury numerous times and yet somehow still prevailed!
