Hi everyone. I am shamefully behind the current status of all things DCC, which is a true sin, SORRY. (life is not behaving as it was told to-geez). Can someone give me a quick rundown as its know at least for now? Is there a season 14 expected? Guessing not. Who is thought to be retiring? Status of VK universe either one, reality-vs-alternate reality. Is she at least in shape and showing signs of more humility? I really hope so, so I can cheer her on instead of a repeat sadness. Any signs of lessons learned or a big ole-NOPE. Top hopefuls to pull for? Did any tryout, bikini shoot dates change/finalize? Big events I should apologize to fellow fans here for missing? I repent of all my neglectful DCC sins. I seek your forgiveness and mercy pretty please. Oh and thanks in advance. Feel free to PM if that is easier. Just trying to catch up.

I have a question, that's kinda bugged me. Why is it that no matter what DCC picture is on insta, VK liked, is the first name every single dang time. I mean, does she like and unlike every photo tons of time to keep her name visible? Or perhaps Mama does it for her? Maybe I don't understand how Insta works. But anyone else notice that? Or bug them? Or are we already seeing foundational nepotism building up to tryouts? And did they announce season 14? I am so behind. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, I have been gone for months dealing with my son's illness. So sorry this is a repeat question to many. But can someone bring me up to speed? Has anyone left? Who was announced Pro Bowl, Who is retiring, Is there going to be another painful year of MTT? And where can I watch the best dancing clip of wannabe tryouts etc? Sorry for being a bother but I can't seem to get through hundreds of posts before a nurse or Dr comes in with questions. Thanks in advance.

Once again Ms @Jess14, I find myself in agreement with you. I am a minority. In fact by DNA, have 17 nationalities. I never know if someone will speak Spanish to me, Sicilian, Polynesian, or ask me which part of Ireland is the best part to travel to for minorities. I find it sometimes frustrating to have those classified as white, spout off so often what is racist or not. Especially since in some areas, whites do not experience that part of life (in the manner I am referring too). In fact I find there are not as many racist people in the world as you would think. But there are millions of culturally ignorant ones who need to step back and stop assuming what is right and wrong or offensive or not, to people they know nothing about. I ran the Diversity training program for my healthcare system in NC, USA. THousands upon thousands of personalities came through, all having different ideals and knowledge. In the end, the truly racist ones were weeded out , ignorant ones put through rather extensive tiring training, and the others became stronger employees and mentors. I only had to move forward with 103 written warnings 8 terminations (after work violations related to issue) and 650 aggressive re-educations out of 9000. So based on that, alot of good people with bad information were milling about. Now I was not patting myself on the back. My company only did that to prevent lawsuits, not because they had good hearts or actually cared. But I was encouraged to find the good outweighed the bad and reaffirmed, the effect of the bad sadly ruins it for the rest.

OMG Nooo, no more. ITs just too sad when someone keeps trying to relive the old days, especially when the old days were awkward to begin with.

Hey @Kayce, or any KaShara loving fan. Do you think she will stay really active as a DCC Alumni? Any guesses out there? Or will she be the type we only get to see in the pictures other Alumni happen to post on their own pages? I am probably asking this in the wrong way. Kash just seems like a woman who will intentionally define herself post-DCC. Okay, now I know I am saying this all backwards. Hopefully, someone out there speaks fluent gibberish.

I think she is poking fun at herself. It's classic "LA Valley Girl". My college years in CA were filled with girls dressed just like it.

I agree so much. She was human, and as such, flawed. Just like the rest of us. I am grateful for the insight you show. I can think of a few times in my life where my worst moments were hard to navigate at the time and later I would agonize over what I wished I could have done instead. Being blindsided sucks, even if everyone feels it was obvious. A dream being crushed hurts, plain and simple. Even if that dream was more like a fairytale than reality. Didn't CMT post a message to her to come back next year? Just like they told VK to keep her chin up? What is up with that? They never posted messages to girls in the past. It felt like they sent one to her because only having sent one to VK was being questioned. I am almost too exhausted to think about 2019 squad audition season. You know what @ByTor , I have wondered if they are actually scared to let it go. Scared to find out people do not think its as important as they do. Not willing to accept the truth that something more is desired now. IDK, just wondering. It is dated a bit to me at this point. I always end up feeling there are 2-3 spots the moves are awkward and wonder why do they keep certain elements. Question for the dance knowledgeable. What constitutes a new " fresh" dance routine? I ask because so much of current DCC dance seems to be recycled moves. Even the SG dances seem stuck in time. The costumes never change. My untrained eye can pick out a rotating group of set moves. So curious if others have to. Which ones do you all see as repeating ones? In fairness, dancing in boots on the field may create limitations I don't understand.

I was sort of reprocessing all that happened this season. BIGGEST LIE OF SEASON -SPOKEN BY KELLY HERSELF- Statement that disgusted me. "Thankfully, she's earning the respecting of everyone in the room with this solo. I wouldn't want Victoria to have any advantage of her relationship with me through her mother" Yet at every kick and turn a blind eye was given and a deaf ear turned. The themes for me were #1- Manufactured and manipulated storyline #2- Inflammatory favoritism #3- lack of unbiased and clear decision making from leadership #4- Forced exposure to VK #5- Betrayal of fan/viewer trust For the record, I do not necessarily have an issue with VK. I did have a problem with her expectation that she be catered to. I was offended by K&C denials of favoritism. I do have a problem when any spoiled brat is tolerated and then forced onto others trying their best to fulfill responsibilities. Yes, it appears that VK was/is toxic in some settings, but she was only following the lead before her. The MOST toxic of the season was K&C. Oh and a final note for Kelly and Kitty #1- She's worked very hard." AH...remember the talk with Emily when she said she was the hardest working girl out there and you, Kelly- rebuked her. Also, Kitty, hope you are reading. Stop asking girls why should they make the team and shooting them down when they say "because I am working hard". You always respond that doesn't matter, everyone is working hard. Sooooooo.....whats this about respecting someone???

Thank you @sleepyjean for keeping me focused on the fact this is a show. I wish I could trust things are as transparent as its presented. Up to when they started the fan vote, impressions seemed more informational, but its so much "show" in the show. Rewatching some old seasons, I did hear the broken record of "best group of rookies", "worst part of my job", because cuts are so hard. After about the 5th season of hearing that I mentally deleted that as being truthful ( just in a generalized way). Not that no one is hard. How cool would it be to have the history channel or whoever, something do a six-part series that does an in-depth documentary style filming? Capturing the whole DCC culture. Someone on here mentioned a version of that already I think. For example, If National Geo was to do a factual story, wow that is intriguing. I would totally watch 6, 2-hour specials on it. Oh and help me here, my favorite isle for dummies is closed for renovations...what does Jenny-gate mean? HEY! Stop that, no fair laughing at the board's new village idiot. I'm fragile :)

YES...THIS and MORE. For the life of me, I can't figure out how they tout "empowered women" while also stripping them of all power and "voice" They should not be demoted to great dancers and world-class puppets. These ladies are amazing when not tainted and have great things to say. It's such an oxymoron life, DCC life. I am not saying its all bad, or anything close to that. Just as a mother I worry for them sometimes. But I so agree @Jess14

You are so right. The picture is a hot mess. Honestly, it's like the whole VK issue had them so distracted it threw off everything including their professional eye. And that's no slight on VK. That's the fault of leadership. Looking at this picture, no one seems really happy. Every smile looks nearly forced to me. Gina's position makes her look like she is her own team, poor Lacey looks like that person trying desperately to get into a picture, "don't forget me", posture, and Alexis has a tension that says, "should I really be sitting here?" I had said I feel like this season cheated us by having such an imbalance, but I think the Rookies entire TCC to DCC experience was tainted by the mess. I hope they are truly enjoying dancing and performing now and feeling free of the uncomfortable proverbial elephant in the room no one want's to talk about. Or perhaps those are smiles of, "thank God's this is over with"? SO far their performances look good. I wish we had seen some Showgroup stuff. You know what, there are some really great rookies with endearing qualities. I hope they highlight them heavily the remaining season.

I was wondering myself. I remember seeing VK wearing a watch during some episodes in TC, and have seen Jenn K occasionally with one on to. But I have noticed more rings on girls lately. Perhaps they are religious, or culturally significant items? oooorrrrrrr, the jewlery is some super spy equipment, for a covert operation to leak squad secrets? (Man, I really do need a life)

@CowboysFanatic , no worries, I was cool with the response and hey thanks for the info on Paige to bad Jeff is playing injured. Question for anyone who can answer. Did Heather also have a nose job done? Maybe that is an ancient topic already. How on earth do these girls manage to have surgeries and recover between seasons? Especially if on SG. I am not knowledgeable enough in cosmetics. I was looking back over several of the rookies who have been trying out for a couple years before TC and I swear some had work done chasing the ideal look. Or maybe it's just because they mature during the 3-5 years it takes to finally make team. Even Kristin looked different during last year's audition. Less droopy-eyed.

I have a question for those who know how to freeze frame and catch the moments people like me miss. But when they announced the group leaders, at one point after a dancing clip, Lacy looked nearly over the moon. She had lead the dance in the clip, Kash was behind her. It almost made me think initially she may have thought being GL 1 would mean she was point. Maybe I am getting things confused. But she seemed so happy, AM I crazy? (Ah second hand, don't answer that part of the question)

I was referring to the race life circles. It changes them. Honestly, if you saw what they face as far as the environment you'd get it. Each on their own act completely different than when in a group. They have good reason to be guarded. I am not a personal friend, my contact was professional only. I am just glad Briana is with a group that knows how to weather the storms together. I no longer handle projects for that race group. You know that has me wondering. Have any of the DCC gone on to marry players? I imagine the answers belong in Former DCC, Since I am still new, can someone let me know where to find that? Curious...

You know what, I am blind in one eye which makes for some funny moments. One happened today looking at the team shot when I thought Jesika was wearing some really weird blue fabric chaps on her legs. Her legs melted into the sleeves of the girls in front of her. I laughed so hard and realized it was my eyes that were warped instead. HA! Geeze, where is that eye doctor Jayln used. I am a mess.

@Law Mom , I so echo this. I really would hate for any of us here to fall into stereotypes relating to mental health. That stigma is unhealthy for everyone. Especially since the medical world is proving more and more how it is a genetic and/or, biological medical health. The word mental does not mean its a deficit in a person's character. I can relate to that feeling of being blindsided, even if its obvious to everyone else. I bet she was mortified watching that play out and wishing she could have reeled in her shock and disappointment. It was a true disbelief moment and yes it was awkward to watch and painful to see... K&J, stop doing this to girls. It is unprofessional actually and deters the teams focus for performance. What's wrong with forming the team earlier and giving us the inside view of game day performances. Remember how the whole show started with her saying "the never before seen inside look at..." what happened to that. All we see is an inside look at staged cuts.....BORING! They set these girls up to be devastated and why the hell can't they have tissues. They know these girls will cry...WTH Ugh..sorry rant over...thanks @LAW MOM
