OM Lordy, REALLY????? What kind of BS is that and then on the show act like they are just a phone call away? And then that whole scene of being mad at Jenna for texting Shelly was BS too. Who are they supposed to ask questions too? (I get that situation was different). I am so sick of this BS false persona they throw out to viewers as if they are so approachable and family-centered in interactions. I get more and more fearful for these beautiful ladies. I feel like starting the term TPTNTG (The Powers that Need to Go). That's why I believe the real story is in people like Shelly and Jen and the others who are the true day to day interactions that form the team. J&K are not even there at every practice anyway right. So they make these decisions based on what they happen to see that night? If it is on notes of the real staff observing these girls, let's hear from them instead. Control Freak Much???

I get your point really I do. I am probably in the "ignore" folder of several here because I actually want to see her do well. I am a sad and broken record lately. Common VK, just smash it out of the park with your own girl power and be super sweet evenly to all and I am positive many will lift you up. On the other hand, repeat past mistakes and last year will be nothing compared to what some are ready to unleash. I won't hide my disgust if we get a repeat of last year, so I am hoping for the best. And a great show full of truthful DCC life and excitement. Bring back the glory days PLEASE. Oh and can Judy please be allowed to talk candidly, she has so much to share and I want to hear it.

I echo this. But if she actually, truly earns it, we have no right to cry about it. However, it would be more mindful to slow that roll down and see her put in a good consistent year under her own steam. I am not gonna lie. It would bother me for them to award her that alot with the history we have observed. Her ego can easily become abusive, according to many, so I worry she would create friction in the smaller SG team that needs to be very intuned with each other. I just have a hard time wanting to hold one person back just cause, as much as letting them be on SG just cause of who they know. Maybe my runaway mind is misbehaving. So if I am sounding crazy....apologies

You know what. Sometimes I even wonder about vets who decide not to return/retire. I thought it was interesting to see Jenelle struggle over that choice. I wonder which of them were encouraged to put up the boots. Jessika is one I never liked. Her weight bothered me last year. Was she sent the vibe, time to hang it up? I feel like we are missing a lot of contexts when the show airs, important things. My thought just ran out the door and stole the keys to my mental car...so not sure where my thinking was going....geez there ya go.

SO interesting that in this clip VK was compared to who?...None but our comeback favorite Brennan. Example of one who is already polished, to someone who lacks awareness and polish. I really do hope the best for Victoria. Regardless of how people feel, the best outcome is for her to grow up, be humble, a supportive kind teammate that supports those around her and expands her dance horizons by perfecting areas she is less comfortable with. She can control all those factors herself, even if the adults around her continue to behave badly. She can do this all on her own if they would get out of the way, seriously. Since it's absolute she will make the team, don't shield her needlessly. I expect some will warm up with her earnest efforts and less in your face favoritism. She is not untalented. We've seen plenty on no talent girls make it and we are all dumbfounded as too why. Oh well....Brennan is a great role model for sure. I hope we are in for good surprises. Prayers up......

I am happy for her. I would love to know what behind the scenes storm she endured/navigated last year...if any. Perhaps it was work related that prevented some positions. But I have always liked her. Also, is it me or have they used more smiling than sultry photos this year? I am not quite caught up so I might be getting years melded together. Can anyone clarify for me? Shame to be asking someone to embarrass me at how pathetically lost in space I am...but there ya go... And about Miranda...she does look great. Her hair looks shorter and thinned out. Makes her look lighter and younger. She does appear fitter and less fluffy than before. Do they always cover her top avoiding low cut? And on messy hair...Tess needs some help. I hate her hair most of the time, it never held the larger curls. Whatever happened to the natural curl? And yes, that is ancient news, but I never learned it. Do you think they will fix it? For such a pretty girl, having all that messy hair is distracting. You can tell from her hairline they are flat ironing it. Which for us multi-ethnic gals is typically laborious to loosen/straighten our curls out naturally. From what I remember her's is still fairly long with tighter curls. Maybe with Cianna and Maddie, they don't want another style like that. But its a shame. Yes maybe with straight hair it is longer...but unnatural. I love shoulder blade natural coils hair but would hate to go back to harsher styles. FIll me in guys? (sorry for marathon post, I only get here once a day typically)

I think them not having a boot buddy picture with VK and Amy is yet another way they are "protecting and sheltering" VK. By doing that, and then subtly adding in VK name everywhere still leaves a sour taste to me. It's still favoritism, just in a different form. They do it for Miss Flipping America the Queen too in some ways. Ever notice how VK's name is always the first one listed as "liked" on a photo on Twitter or IG. It's almost like someone sits and unlikes & likes a DCC related photo constantly to make sure her name is the most recent and therefore shows up 1st and visible. It's those types of things that irk me. That "thirsty" behavior. Just be honest and behave like every other person who goes through TC. Be a TCC and not VK. And honestly, I would feel that way about anyone who acting in that manner, not just VK. VK needs to be taught the H's, honesty, humility, honorability

I actually hated this routine. It may be me, but last years seemed better. The movements just look a bit oddly put together. Like recycled moves, we see in nearly every DCC routine. But perhaps that is exactly the point, and this is yet another display of idiotville gone wild by @IzzyEnd

OMG yes yes yes yes yes....because my old brain also decides to walk out in protest of being overworked too. We do need a sleuth/guru/DCC thread for dummies author.... :) May not happen, but to those that are willing to answer repeat questions and recap things over and over....THANKS, we newbies appreciate it a lot.

Ah, don't feel bad. As I said in an earlier post, if she buckles down, adults get out of the way and let her fairly carve out her own outcome. We may find we like her. It's hard though when others insert themselves. I think part of that poor girl is trying to please everyone and may not have a clue how to be a fulfilled young woman on her own terms independent of DCC universe. If she can be a gracious TCC, support all and use her favor to benefit others, people might warm up. But that is something within VK control. I hope she can do that AND keep the fitness/weight under control, so she is being held accountable as well. All of that can happen outside of VK lovers or VK haters. People can't help being negative if you misrepresent someone to favor them with bias. So that is a lesson the adults need to perfect within themselves apparently.

I know last year Judy got pissy on Twitter. And Kelly also got snippy when gentlemen challenged her that it was too much favoritism and she replied' I think we can all agree all these ladies a talented" or something like that. This guy blasted her back saying something like "fans are not stupid we see the double standards...blah blah blah..., something along those lines I believe. Someone correct me, it was Judy who got snappy right? Any remember the exact comment. She quickly deleted her defensive post as I recall. after realizing it crossed the lines and exposed her further. Oh, I wish someone could find those old posts. But it sounds like the trend continues and we are in for more bull surrounding VK. Geeze, I hope not. PS-Don't trust my tired old brain. Good point. DO you think it's equal to all former DCC or only those that stuck around multiple years? Like I literally had no idea Natalie had such an integral position within the organization until someone mentioned it last year. She only cheered one season right? So for her, it seems good. But I thought someone said it was an initially sour parting? I really can't remember. DO you think even cut vets have former DCC payoff? This year returning VETs kinda surprised me. I expected more girls to not return from rookies last year. It seemed so rough. But if they survived the VK chaos, perhaps they have great inner strength. I do hope most find some type of post DCC payoff. It does seem they marry well as their DCC life goes, but I am sure these ladies do not go into it with that in mind. Options just become available with being so publicly adored.

It's true. The seriousness of her behavior really does bother me. It was never dealt with honestly and it still feels super raw to me. It sickens the stomach type raw. I kind of see things in separate buckets. Regardless of how great or improved VK is now. How she handled herself last year should have resulted in the same outcome less favored girls suffered. From the oh poor girl fell out of her turns to, not addressing flopping her body over a table unprofessionally, the whole situation made my gut hurt for girls being mistreated. Talk of being toxic. Kelly was the most toxic to me. A storm leaves damage....so that so-called beautiful storm, is not beautiful to someone whose entire life was blown apart.(Tara). What's that meme...DISGUSTING!!!!! On to bucket two. The only way to mentally tolerate this year is to isolate what I am seeing now. It's a shame I have to pretend last year never happened. Clearly, that is what they are expecting. Getting another barbie sends a terrible message. But oh well. If they repeat the offenses to fans again this year I will no longer support the show or organization. If they fail to clean up last years mess, I may do the same. Its all up to Kelly and the others to be transparent, classy adults and deal with it as mature human beings.....or do what we expect and proliferate unethical biased behavior that is self-serving once again. Can they live up to the standards themselves they force unto others? Let's see. Again, since we ARE going to be force-fed VK Hammer Time. I will be happy if she at least becomes a gracious, comforting, supportive teammate. If she cancels the storm and becomes a rainbow to shelter others. That would be the true success story. For now, just don't throw a flabby patty at us and call it the Tuesday Night Special. Give me the house special DCC, and we will all be happier for once. The last 3 years have been disappointing in the leadership behavior profile. The best outcome is everyone earn their spot.

I am so with you on that. Although, I am positive she has a much healthier life now mentally and physically. I just don't see what is so difficult in being fair. All the talk of people making it on their own merit is horsecrap and everyone honest knows it. I am still sour over that cut, but grateful she has a better fuller life without control freaks in it. I really believe DCC life is only comfortable for "some". I can't help but feel as though its a life of constant threats in one way/form or another. Just like the "benefits" don't extend equally to all, or it seems that way.

Sorry everyone for what looks like fanatical posting-just catching up. I agree. Putting the whole VK hate aside. As an isolated picture, she looks perfectly acceptable, especially when compared to Miranda, who I like. VK has a better body for now. She does stand out in her own way. ANd so far the photos I've seen photographs well. I think she sucks in unnecessarily trying to appear thinner. probably some fear factor there. But, yup, she looks okay. I bet the one warning she got from TPTB is to remain as fit as possible and not be jiggly like last year, in that case, she has done as they required. Give her credit where credit is due. And harsh judgment where/when/if it becomes due. I may be in the minority here, but I really just want her to do well on her own and be a gracious, supportive, fair teammate and not make TC/DCC life hard on others. She is the one person who can afford to be kind and gracious as she is under less scrutiny and risk of being cut. So why not be a favorite by being super kind and prove all wrong. If they chill on the constant features, people can warm up on their own. Honestly, winning people over through kindness regardless of TPTB and Tina fits galore, is within VK's control. She can be gracious, supportive, kind and fair all on her own. Not an artificial, oh she grew and matured, wow look at her. Let her earn that part on her own and it will shine so bright, being in her corner can become easier. Assuming she has a desire to recreate herself as an independent human adult. Now if she continues in the spoiled brat lifestyle, she will have equally earned the social media hate, and that too is within her control. Some people can not be won over one way or the other. So VK if you or Mom are reading, just do that. earn the praise, you can rock it if you want. The potential is there for sure, so cultivate it. Tina get out of her way....that's what I say. She can do this on her own. Right.............

A quick question and still catching up. I loved Lacey a few years back. But this year she seemed a tad heavier to me. Am I wrong? I mean I am literally nearly blind in one eye, so maybe my perception is off, but still...I felt like she was a bit puffier. She seems to be the type that if she is not overly toned she becomes too soft (DCC world only) What a hard body type to have. I loved her bubbly personality. 2nd questions. How do you think Alexandra will do? Correct me if I am wrong, but she is on the shorter side right? Do you think that will count against her, this group seems slightly taller. Her kicks better be super high if I am right. I don't think they will allow for another McKenzie situation anymore.

Thanks...that makes sense now knowing it was that type of injury. As soon as I read it, I had flashbacks to swim competitions. I remember the pain of having one. Geez, a brutal starting place to a season, and a training camp with no breaks.

Aw man....I loved her. Thanks for letting me know. Injuries are hard and the way they push these ladies gives little time to rehab broken hurting bodies. Wow.....so sad. Hope she heals and finds something greater.

Okay, I am trying to read and catch up. But can someone fill me in why Lauren did a sudden dropout? PM me if that is easier. I can't seem to find the conversation. But, I loved her what could have happened? I am kinda over the whole VK thing. I just want to see a genuine show, with real dancing, meet a balance of girls, not just one repeating sound bite character. I really don't care, unless they force a situation again. But honestly, we can't control the favoritism, nor make TPTB, be honest. Clearly, they struggle with that way more than these ladies struggle with weight. I could forgive a lot of bad choices if they were just honest about them. I had no happy thoughts about a season 14, but knowing a new crew is behind the cameras and directing chairs......maybe it will return to the feeling of the earliest seasons when I felt like most of the show was about budding performers and....wow...DANCING!!!!! Seriously, what is the 411 on Lauren. She was my Fav....

Thank you for the update. Wonder if the quiet announcement is in hopes it makes an easier ski through for favored parties. Guess we will see. I pray they show some honesty, class and fairness. But I am not holding my breath. I enjoy living so........ I just want a show that doesn't force things, people, products and make me feel like I watched a one hour infomercial. AND NOT Like where is the dancing sort of show.

I am either lost, stupid, or both. Probably both. But did they even commit to another show? I see lots of cameras but none of the dccmtt stuff. What am I missing? Regardless, the footage is so poor it's hard to really see "the talent here". I agree with comments about the horrible tacky auditions Hollywood wanna be sign.

Thank you so much @bigskygirl . I am neutral on many things but am so tired of decisions not making any sense to the rest of us. I miss the early days when we all saw the talent clearly or clearly saw it missing and agreed on it more easily. Do you think they are scared to have another season of the show because of indebted favors hanging overhead and it would be easier to do that less publicly (i.e.- untelevised?) I feel like we already knew by this time last year a new season would air. Although I confess, I am unclear if I would watch it. Season 13 was the only season in the show's history I didn't purchase. 13 really was unlucky for them wasn't it. If season 14 happens, wonder if they would change up the format or keep overlooking fan/viewer input, feedback and ideas. Gosh, imagine a show where they literally did it as fans have begged.
