SO MANY things about Anna's attitude baffled me: "What am I supposed to say to the other parents?" - all those parents were ASKED PERMISSION before the girls were allowed to stay over. Was Anna worried that some of them were going to change their minds and yell at Anna over it after the fact, even though she had nothing to do with it? "April doesn't meet anyone until I get married." - I doubt it's a great idea to make the decision to marry someone if they haven't even met your kid yet.

This was confusing me, too. Obviously, someone has to work on Bernadette's projects while she's out. I wish they'd made the situation a little clearer by having Ruchi say something like she planned to fight to keep the projects even after Bernadette came back, but I guess we were supposed to infer that. I did enjoy Raj calling Bernadette out on that she would have done the same thing if the situation was reversed. And softening the blow with brownies.

S03.E11: Kimmy Googles the Internet!

I started to get offended but I'm 40 now and work in accounting so I guess that doesn't help my case. I knew several Linda's growing up. Some are still under 40 but not by much. Still, people come up with the craziest names now, many of which are names I've always thought of as old person names. I will forever associate Sophia with Golden Girls so I've never understood how that name became so popular again. With the dual role, I was totally expecting it to come out that the professor didn't really have a partner; that she made her up and constructed an elaborate ruse. Loved the chicken line. :-) -

LOL'd at Sheldon adding Mark Twain to the list of people he's mad at. -
S08.E24: The Commitment Determination

When the scenes were rotating through the various storylines toward the end of the episode, I was so sure that it was leading up to the Raj/Emily & Howard/Bernadette/Stuart conversations being interrupted with the news that Leonard and Penny were heading to Vegas to elope. And then Stuart's phone really did ring, and I thought "Why would they call him first?" I agree with theatremouse's interpretation that Sheldon's readiness to propose equals his willingness to make their relationship sexual. He told Penny awhile back that it was possible his relationship with Amy could lead there someday. And TV Land is full of conversations where one person is about to say something but changes their mind at the last minute, so I also agree that he was probably about to propose on that video call. -
The Past Seasons Discussion Corollary

The Spaghetti Catalyst. Sheldon is so wonderfully Sheldon but without being jerky or entitled, caring about his friendships. So much great dialogue in this one, from Sheldon and Penny's conversation up the stairs, Sheldon waking Leonard in the middle of the night to confess "I've been seeing Penny behind your back," Howard's "That's it, we've officially run out of things to talk about." to the end tag, "I think we can do it.", "Smother Sheldon in his sleep? Wouldn't that be wrong?" I also loved Leonard and Penny acting like recently divorced parents with Sheldon as their "kid" while Howard and Raj look on in amazement. And I don't know why, but there's something very cute about the way Sheldon says "hot dogs." -

S08.E02: The Junior Professor Solution

I was getting annoyed at Sheldon's behavior about his class. He is such a paradox of smart and clueless all at once. He, as the teacher, is supposed to be smarter (or at least know more) than his students. That's the whole point of a class! He's supposed to teach something that the students don't already know! And what did he think would happen next if he drove all his students away? He's the one who doesn't want to do string theory anymore, and he was sabotaging his only way to be let out of it. -
The Love Interests: Pale Shadows of Lilith (if that's possible)
Tamariskie replied to FormerMod-a1's topic in Frasier
I think both of them were named Marie. My favorites for Frasier were definitely Claire and Faye. Disappointing when they painted characters as perfect for him only to have him ruin it in the space of an episode or two. It was hard to take the relationship with Charlotte seriously at the end when he'd never had a relationship last beyond a few episodes in eleven years. I liked Sherry with Martin and always thought the guys were unfairly hard on her. Yes, she wasn't like them but she was very sweet. Like when Frasier had the three dates in one weekend and during the first one was telling lie after lie (being a vegetarian, loving animals) and then when Sherry showed up, his lies were revealed. The next day, he's complaining to Niles, completely blaming Sherry for ruining his date. I did also like Cora with Martin. -

A couple more: When Zach went with the guys to the comic book store Stuart: You guys finally chip in and hire a bodyguard? When the guys were telling stories about Sheldon while hanging out at Raj's apartment after Leonard and Priya started dating Sheldon: <knockknockknock> All my friends, <knockknockknock> All my friends, <knockknockknock> All my friends Howard: Is it like Beetlejuice? Did we say his name too many times? -
From when Eddie got injured and had to wear one of those plastic cones to keep from scratching his wound: Frasier: I ask you to keep that dog quiet and instead you outfit him with a megaphone! From when Frasier is about to fire Bebe and she tries to get Roz as a client instead: Roz: It's not like she worships the devil. Frasier: She doesn't have to! He worships her!

Yesterday brought several BBT quotes to mind. I was at a natural history museum that had a polar bear exhibit (Go, Polar Bears), within the bug exhibit, a field cricket (I wonder what the non-pathetic people are doing tonight) and at dinner, heard My Girl on the music system (Marcy Grossman is sunshiiiiiiine on a cloudy day....). -
The Speculation with Spoilers Saturation

I hope since Howard and Bernadette have learned how to live with a situation like this, that Leonard and Penny will as well. And while I would have preferred her to find success via acting, even if minor, I am glad they are finally going to end this reign of failure that's been going on the last few years.
