And, once again, Athena is the only police officer in LA to show up at a major disaster. 🙄

This ↑ and no other engine companies respond, so they recruit a construction vehicle, that happens to be right in the area, to intercede and save the day.

  2. How long will it be before Edie becomes a detective and we have the 2023 version of "Starsky & Hutch" or "Cagney & Lacie" or "Starsky & Cagney" or "Lacie & Hutch" when she teams up with Jamie?

  3. In what courthouse and universe would a sitting juror be allowed into a public bathroom? And on top of that be speaking to a cop who was/is a witness in the case he's sitting on?

Also, the ADA should be happy that the case concluded with a verdict, not a mistrial. Put aside the high and mighty attitude and take the win.

On the flip side - and I've said this before - the show is leaning a little too hard into Marjan being some sort of superhuman. The likelihood she would have survived a gunshot like that for as long as she did is extremely implausible. The old guy she stopped said the nearest hospital was 40 miles away so even after her friends finally found her she still had a long way to go and she had lost a lot of blood.

The magic of television, and with Owen Strand in the mix anything is plausible.

So are Bobby and Athena officially a crimefighting/detective duo now? Because that isn't the show I signed up for but that seems to be the direction the show is taking this season.

They have to keep up with Owen Strand aka Rob Lowe.

  6. A ripped-from-the-headlines episode totally mirroring this:

"Social media star was killed while on a road trip with her fiancé Brian Laundrie, who was later found dead in Florida after a weeks-long manhunt"

Owen is a massive control freak. Glad to see TK stand up to his OTT antics.

I meant to call out individual jury members the way she did. I've been a juror and the closing has always been directed at the jury as a whole. You're told you are supposed to avoid any individual conversations with one of the lawyers. It seems like that would apply even within a closing.

I also took note of that.  I'm not an attorney and IMO, IRL I don't believe that would be allowed. \

Awaiting comments from those that actually know.

    Lawyers: please help us out.

Also, as I said in another thread, you can forgive someone and still not want them in your life, or have limited contact with them. Chim’s dad can be a grandfather and still not have much of a relationship with Chim, if that’s what Chim wants.

This is so true. I can speak to this from real-life experience.

I got a creepy vibe off Hen's kid secretly contacting his bio dad.

I'm not so sure it is his bio dad. Has this ever been discussed/verified? If it has then I likely missed it.

And Lyle Lovett next week? Feeling like it’s greatest hits at this point.

ALSO: Tom Selleck will be enjoying a big reunion with his former Magnum P.I. co-star Larry Manetti, who was revealed to be popping up as a Blue Bloods guest star in an upcoming episode.
