And ohh, please stop with the Bensler tease. It’s getting lame and ridiculous. Yuck! 😏

This is getting old, tired, and unnecessary. They even had to show the presser with St.Olivia getting accolades for the missing girl save, even though Maddie wasn't recovered and will be an on-going thorn throughout this season of SVU. Enough with the Bensen crap.

Oh, I also LoL’d at the mom saying they moved to NYC because they thought it would be safer.

Overall an interesting premise, just poorly executed with some bad writing.

If that was the premise, then the writer's should have moved them from Chicago instead of San Francisco.

also, when does it warrant a Captain and a Chief to be present in a possible kidnapping/Amber Alert situation?

  3. Whiney Jonathan should have gone home. How many times did he say or refer to "you look like a hot sack of shit?"  Suck it up and stop acting like a pussy. You got a very undeserved reprieve.

  4. I do not know the inner workings of the medical field, but 167 surgeries seem like a bit much.

Does this fit into the opening disclaimer that certain parts have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes?

If the steering wheel is on the right and the stick shift is on the left, is the clutch still on the left? That's what would throw me, and I drove nothing but stick shift for years. My first three cars were stick.

Starting from the left are the clutch, brake, and gas. The accelerator is always on the right, the Brake is always in the middle, and the Clutch is always on the left.

Oh, and to add, Melissa thought her challenger performances would be enough to save her, but Gordon really is looking for someone to run the kitchen and that is what the dinner (breakfast, wedding reception, etc.) services show him.  Who can take the pressure, lead and help others, etc.  So, I think she prioritized the wrong aspect of the show.  Sure, he notices who is a good cook, but that's not the extent of what he is looking for in the winner.

Yes, he's always looking for a leader and in a round about way he told them exactly that at the end of the episode. That said, that is the reason Jason will never make it to the end.

  7. Another doubleheader tonight:

S13E13 Fish Out of Water Mystery Box: The chefs face their toughest Mystery Box challenge yet - fish! When the chefs with immunity are able to switch up the other contestants' fish, the competition starts to fire up.

S13E14 Kelsey's Stadium Food:  The contestants must cater to the average sports fan while incorporating elements from their region to elevate their dish, and the chef with immunity is tasked with giving a penalty to the home cook of their choosing to receive a five-minute timeout.

For me it was the guy who fist-bumped Kyle on his way out.

I have no idea who that guy is.

He's the guy that screwed up the mashed potatoes in the outdoor competition. Then he redeemed himself last week with a chicken marsala dish.

    S13E09 United Cakes of America

The remaining home chefs face the hardest challenge yet in this celebration of "MasterChef's" 250th episode; the kitchen heats up when the chef with immunity is tasked to assign each contestant with an iconic cake to re-create.

ETA: I hate baking episodes. The show is MasterCHEF, not MasterBaker.

  10. Wow, JB certainly has a one-track mind when it comes to risotto. Someone should let him know that it is not only an Italian dish. I direct him to this site (https://tinyurl.com/2cugvfgz) where there are 47 different ways to make risotto and none are made his traditional Italian way. Basically, risotto is rice cooked in broth.

Also, I don't like that they change the rules as they go along. Why was it necessary to send two cooks packing when normally only one goes home? As per Gordan's explanation, all three could have been eliminated.

And why the constant digs at the woman (Jennifer?) that won the advantage regarding the 10-minute bogey? She won an advantage and played it as she thought was most beneficial to her team, as she should have. I guess it's just another way to drum up some more drama.
