Did the daughter (Tess) show up for dinner at the Reagans? My DVR cut off before the scene ended.

Maybe The Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire, Will Janowitz.
Thank you, now I can place the face. He played Meadow's boyfriend (Finn DeTrolio) on The Sopranos.

Who is the actor who played Eric Bonner?

Also, what the heck is up with evil red hair lawyer woman? Is there some group/cabal just keeping her on retainer to take on every scumbag criminal that has had any dealing with this particular precinct?
↑ My thoughts, exactly. Her appearances are really tedious.

Only 20 minutes in, and already up to their stupid plot point quota.
Key word being "stupid" and there was no quota as the entire fiasco was: 'fill in the blank'

I think the guy playing the gambling patient was in an episode of "Criminal Minds" once
Peter Jacobson: He was also a doctor on "HOUSE" and he had a role in "As Good As It Gets."

That seems to be reserved for St. Olivia at SVU.
This ↑ and the voice message left for Stabler means she'll likely be inserting herself very soon. That said, get your barf buckets ready.

Trevor Hobbs is already forgotten in this episode, so dispensable.
Budget cut. Quite a few returning shows are reducing the number of actors per episode.

Frank looked just like Teddy Roosevelt—right after they mention former P.C. Teddy Roosevelt. Coincidence?
I had this thought last week when Frank was in the Mayor's office.
IMO, the producers are doing this intentionally.

With all due respect to those who enjoy these "baby episodes," I HATE them.
And not one, not two, but three . . . . . . . .
ETA: also, shouldn't these infant surgeries be handled by the peds doctors, aka pediatric surgeons?

Why do I not remember Hobbs? Was he an agent at the Joc?
I believe he was at the JOC. He was one of the guys who would do computer searches (social media) when they were tracking perps.
Is this him?

Has anyone ever wondered how these agents can fly to a state/city and immediately jump into the latest issue of FBI Suv's and manage to traverse said city without ever asking for directions or using GPS and NEVER GET LOST?

He at least could have asked about Julie. The writers have started to pretend she doesn't even exist. Not sure how old Julie is supposed to be at this point. 14? 15? She can probably take care of herself now so I'd just as soon they continue to ignore her completely, it's less jarring.
That said, she'll likely be the target of some nefarious scheme to get to Tennant.

Also, is there some rule that bomb techs can only diffuse it with 7 seconds left?
I think it's an homage to James Bond. One of the earlier Bond movies had a scene where a bomb was diffused precisely at "007."

Finally, did you know Jonathan has a daughter? And that her name is Saxon? And that winning Hell's Kitchen was her American dream? (Because all little kids have an American dream). Contestants who constantly invoke the name of their kid, as if makes them better than everyone else or more deserving of winning, are so annoying. Jonathan was one of the worst in that regard. Saxon this and Saxon that, all season. Give it a rest.
Totally in agreement with this ↑.
When the season first started, I thought Jonathan was the one. Then after the Jason and "sack of shit" incidents I was completely turned off of him. When GR didn't send him home after the "sack stuff" I thought the fix was in. I rooted for Ryan during the last two episodes as I realized he was the only one who had the chops to meet the requirements of the job.

By contrast, Johnathan name-dropped Saxon a bunch. BTW, am I right to be a little weirded out by that choice of name?
I may be wrong, but I thought I heard her name to be Saxton.
S6.E4 Creating a Monster
in FBI
Wasn't the actor that played Hassan the super intelligent guy on "Scorpian?" If so, he should have brought some of those smarts to this role.
