  1. My daughter loves acai bowls but they are very expensive. There is a chain in our town that sells only acai bowls and they cost $9.99 at a minimum. Yes it's healthy but it sure breaks the wallet. And we all know avocado toast is pricey too. 50 cent Frostys at Wendys are more my budget.
  2. Maddie was asked on instagram if she was moving to Flagstaff and she said no. Maybe that is why they aren't selling the other houses in the cul-de-sac? Maybe they plan to let the younger generation buy them or live in them and pay rent. How they would have enough money/income for that would be interesting to know.
  3. Some day people will be analyzing old twitter hash tags like they analyzed Kavanaugh's yearbook entries. Be careful - they might be used against you. lol
  4. I like that they all have dogs. For some reason I saw the Browns as the type to not bother with animals - well Kody anyway.
  5. We didn't eat fresh fruit or vegetables in my house growing up so I'm kinda at a loss for what to do with them as an adult. The produce section at the grocery store is a mystery to me other than basic apples, bananas and lettuce. Having a child that decided to go vegan has really forced me to learn more about fresh vegetable options but it still hasn't created a desire for them for myself. I wonder if you ever get too old to like new things?
  6. So does a person make money selling LuLaRoe by setting the price they sell the clothes for higher than the price they buy it from LuLaRoe? I have friends on facebook that sell it and they are always talking about how they got a new box in. I'm guessing they pay a set price for the box right? Then they open it and sell the individual pieces for whatever price they want, hoping to cover the cost of the box and then make some extra? It always seems like a mystery what they are going to find inside the box.
  7. Truely gets no attention from Kody on the show.
  8. I don't think we've ever gotten an answer as to why they specifically picked Flagstaff. There were comments made about wanting seasons and cooler weather.
  9. What is the point of all of them selling LulaRoe? Won't they just cannibalize off each other and take sales away from their sister wife? There isn't an infinite market for those strangely patterned clothes...... Christine's face looks like she's lost some weight. Maybe the stress of the move to Flagstaff brought with it some weight loss.
  10. We don't really know what Meri does or doesn't do to repair the relationships within the family, since what we see is so highly edited. I also think that some of her sadness at being left out of Axel's birth was merited. She would have been there had she known what was going on with everyone behind closed doors. And then for Janelle to use it against her - like Meri had committed a family crime by not being there - that seemed a bit excessive. Meri may be prickly but not everything she does is actually wrong. Even with Janelle and Meri having so many years of distance between them they both could try to be welcoming to the other when the opportunity arises. You know - like the crazy Aunt you are nice to at family picnics.
  11. I watch Sister Wives and while I'm certainly not one of those fanatics that thinks the Browns walk on water, I don't dislike any of them. Well, maybe I find it harder to like Mariah and Mykeltie than the others. As for the wives themselves I see good qualities and bad but for the most part they seem like decent people. Meri doesn't bother me with her crying. I get that she is in a completely different place than the other wives with her only child Mariah being grown and out of the house. She's been pretty successful at finding businesses to give herself a sense of accomplishment that doesn't depend on being a "mother". LulaRoe seems to provide the social outlet she needs to be around other adults so it works for her even if it isn't totally clear how it makes her money.
  12. She named her dog Koda?
  13. I'd guess Meri hasn't rented a house in Flagstaff and when she needs to be there to film she just gets a hotel. You'd think she stays with one of the other moms but............
  14. How much income do you think Meri can make each month selling LulaRoe? What kind of markup is there on those clothes?
  15. I get her excitement over having the whole family in the house at one time. When your kids are older that is a rare occurrence and something to celebrate. I obsess over the menu when I know all my family will be home so I can understand Janelle's attempt to have it all planned out.
  16. Check out the background - they've created a fake living room to film in. Edited to add: looks like the same couch set up as their talking segments in Las Vegas. Which makes me wonder - did they rent space in Las Vegas to film the couch interviews?
  17. I thought the alleyway was actually a very artsy photo - if you discount the sports bra, leggings and weirdly contorted arm. The mix of the brick and siding was interesting.
  18. I think Janelle writes well. Maybe she's not much of a people person in real life but she does make her blog posts very readable. I can relate to her feelings in regards to the internal struggle of knowing you need to exercise but not really looking forward to doing it. While I wouldn't look to Janelle for coaching I do find what she posts to be relate-able and coherent. Mariah on the other hand - her posts are only surface level without depth.
  19. Ysabel is pretty and she looks very nice in the LulaRoe dress! Who knew that the LulaRoe that is not in hideous patterns can actually be flattering.
  20. That looks like the concrete wall that is in their backyards in Las Vegas. Is Meri not in Flagstaff?
  21. Who is driving the Lexus with a huge crack across the windshield?
  22. That's Sol right? Does that mean Meri is in Flagstaff with the rest of them?
  23. I don't think they have a problem with their real estate investment, I think they are just expecting too much. If they had made a bad real estate investment the houses would be worth less than they bought them for and they'd have negative equity. They bought the houses for $445,000. They want $649,000. Even if they give the buyers agent 1.5% (splitting the usual 3% real estate commission) they'll net over $145,000 per house if they were to sell the houses for even $600,000. That's good money for 6 years. The problem with their area is that there is a lot of homes for sale. A LOT. And their houses don't stand out in size, location or quality.
  24. Are you supposed to defrost those? I put them in the microwave and cook them from frozen.
