i’m going with my best friend to see Ariana Grande next month and the days are winding down and we still have NO IDEA what we’re doing in DC outside of seeing her and eating. anybody have suggestions?

i’m back from spending the day out with the mister, and i’ll just say that from the clips we’ve seen — holy kicks to the nose! i’m genuinely excited and nervous to see how deliberations end and who moves on to finals.

hopefully we’ll get more shots of actual dancing and interaction between the ladies rather than .5 seconds of dancing and then them doing something completely unrelated and Judy hollering in the background.

first; i’m still not going to be over NOT seeing lacey next season. also mia is one of the prettiest dcc’s to ever dcc in the history of dcc imo 😂 second; those alumi outfits are ugly. third; that rehearsal clip showed us that they only showed us the bad ones lol, everyone or almost everyone in that clip did pretty good besides the girl marking the dance. cant wait to see who makes it to finals and what other clips we get!

i'm betting we'll lose 2-3 vets. despite the videos we saw earlier, a lot of these girls are extremely talented and thoroughly deserve a spot on the team. we already know kelli has a spot saved for VK, but i'm thinking we may lose 2-3 vets before the season starts. hopefully malena, if she makes it to TC isn't strung along like last year and i hope jasmin came back a lot stronger and actually makes the squad this year.

from the clips that we’ve been getting i’m not all too impressed by the talent today 🥴 call me overly critical but whew. but i’m sure CMT will give us LOADS of perfect hair flips with perfectly timed music and closeups of Victoria’s gums while Kelli is crying again.

malena looks just about the same as she did last year, but her outfit is really cute and she looks beautiful. re: turnout- like stated, i think it's getting smaller because the talent pool has realized what the can do, cannot do, and that they don't want to be on national television embarrassing themselves. some probably don't even try out as a bucketlist kind of thing anymore and have moved on to either other teams where they aren't possibly picked on and embarrassed on TV or just moved on in general.

still not 1000000% on victoria trying out. i really hoped she took this time to mature, because from what i’ve seen her dancing hasn’t gotten a hair better, but you just knooooow kelli will have another scene boohooing because she is just so proud of victoria and how far she’s come.

So some updates!! I made it through boot camp and made it through cuts to cheer at both the pep rally and the first game! I also have some serious abs going on atm and I've built such a great sisterhood (and we have a brother!) With the girls I cheer with. Ive been MIA because our schedule is so crazy-- We workout every single day, run a mile every day, and still have about 2 1/2-3 hrs of practice, but it's all really worth it. Now to get back to DCC because I missed so much
