Me and you both. There are three Black girls in TC, I believe an Indian woman (@chandidayle), I believe Cianna is mixed race, Alanna who i’m sure is Latina, and everyone else is either white or white passing. I was really really REALLY hoping for more diversity but 🤷🏾‍♀️

Neither Madeline got cut, Malena & Jasmine both did not make it, Gabby was cut, YES Shaina made it, Kat from CLT Honeybees made it, yes KJC made some dumb decisions, yes the Beast oF Bethusela obviously made it. Anymore questions y’all?

I wonder why Gabby was cut. and if they say she’s soft, then they need to look at VK and Madeline, because both are just as soft.

From experience, it’s probably less maintenance. Natural hair sometimes can take hours, esp with pre-styling. And considering their schedule, I wouldn’t blame them if they wanted to wear a sew in or a wig — a wash and go can sometimes take a long time, and when you’re in and out of rehearsals and a full time job, I completely get it. Though, I really do wish some girls would wear their natural hair out more often, I don’t blame them at all

Really? Wooooow. I would’ve expected better choreo from him. coming from a natural gal, it makes my heart do the Kalyssa shimmy when I see them wearing their puffs lol but I definitely do wish DCC allowed them to wear their natural hair out more.

y’all. Malena looks SO BAD. like whoever choreographed her solo needs to be SHOT-bad. also Khalyn’s puff looks so cute! I loved when Jacie retired and started wearing her puff more and now i’m Over the moon about Khalyn’s puff!!

And I hated when Lacey did a lyrical solo every year lol. It gets boring and repetitive. I understand everyone’s not strong at different types of dance, but how many times are we going to see you leap and be a swan and reach in a middle split before laying out dramatically and say that it’s Barbie worthy and bringing people to tears? yawn. I’m bored. Next. Only solos that I personally have liked so far that we’ve seen are Rachel W’s (besides that god awful costume) and Cianna’s.
