  1. I find it funny that this board is so anti-Devens here because another online group is all rooting for him. I’m mostly rooting for him, but I don’t really care who wins. I haaaated the season with Ben, and hated that he won, but I get different vibes from a Devens. I don’t feel super cocky vibes from him. I just think he feels like since he already lost once, he’s got nothing to lose so he’s just having fun. Like he said, he’s playing with house money. The fact that he’s still in the game is impressive. The recent idols have obviously helped, but he’s also won immunities and I can’t believe that he survived the first couple votes after his return. I also love how he and David had a conscious uncoupling and then buddied up again. I have trouble accepting that this is the “oh yeah” kool aid guy from the first episode. I like to believe someone dared him to do that.
  2. Howard and Bernadette were at the planetarium.
  3. Okay, so yeah, I know, it’s a sitcom... but to make the thing Leonard wants to do without taking Penny’s feelings into consideration be “have sex” felt a little off, especially given the current societal conversations around consent. It just missed the mark for me. Mostly though, I was just relieved to have a break from the stupid Nobel prize storyline.
  4. Yes, we’re slowly limping toward the finish line. The nobel prize is exactly like Sue and Sean. We all know it’s going to happen and it will be anticlimactic when it does. What a snoozer of an episode.
  5. I was surprised by Raf’s reaction to his memories. I thought that he would have seen how Michael was patient while Raf was pressuring her to make a decision and she ended up choosing Michael. I thought he was going to take the route where he would give Jane some space and be a little more patient. Boy was I wrong.
  6. Weird because they were shown on the version I saw. Maybe it’s a regional thing since I’m in Canada? But why would it be different? And what else is different? 🤔
  7. They were on Food network Canada, anyway. Those are pictures of my tv. 🙂
  8. For those who missed the scores in the final episode:
  9. Now we know why Buddy doesn’t usually try to be innovative. His idea for the final cake with the fish and dinosaurs was just weird. It would have made more sense to have cavemen (especially stargazing cavemen) instead of the fish, then the invention section, then the space section. ETA: I posted the first part while watching. Ralph kind of saved it with his presentation... but I still think it’s weird.
  10. I was wondering the same thing about the judging numbers. I have no explanation.
  11. Definitely, but I think he actually kind of pulled it off. He was born in the wrong decade. I had to go back and look at the TVs, and that is really weird! Especially carter’s room. You’d hav to sit on the pony wall to watch tv. lol My daughter’s hair does this naturally (looks most like the first picture) and she gets compliments on it all the time!
  12. I'm rooting for Davis. First it was because he's Canadian, but now I genuinely like him. He is very mature, but he won me over when little glimpses of him being a kid come out. I think it was during his judging at one point (but possibly when announcing the week's winners) and the showed him with his fingers crossed. So, any of the three would be fine, but I'm crossing my fingers for Davis.
  13. They were my last pick to win. They do seem to both be very nice, and in love, and I hope they have a lovely wedding , and what is sure to be an incredible honeymoon. But the contestant “Babe” was so beyond annoying. Good job Babe. I love you Babe. Over there Babe. I got it Babe. Ugh! Try: Honey, Sweetie, Love, or I dunno... maybe “Courtney” or “Adam”!
  14. That might have been the worst episode of AGT ever. So many boring singers. ? ? Christina wells looked fabulous and that dress was gorgeous!
  15. Congratulations to Khiem for the win, and for overcoming the Jessa curse. My favourites so very rarely win any kind of reality TV comptetiton.
  16. I’m going to miss Davey and his giant spoonfuls that were for tasting while baking. That made me laugh every time.
  17. I went back and checked and when they asked first talking to Billy about his project (not during the judging) Simon asks if the bar is “clothing optional.” I get that it’s a reference to the Mardi Gras beads, but somehow the shag shack plus asking if the bar is clothing optional, plus the suggestion that Amber chill in a negligee... he was lathe-ing on the sex references pretty thick. haha
  18. I want Brian King Joseph and Joseph O’Brien to go on the road together as Brian King Joseph O’Brien. It’s like a Wheel of Fortune before and after puzzle. I saw Us the Duo when they were opening for Pentatonix a couple of years ago. They were quite nice to listen to.
  19. Oh, yeah, Simon had he creep factor dialed way up this time. First the “Shag Shack” which I admit we were probably all thinking, but he went on to envision Amber in her negligee, and I’m pretty sure he asked if Billy’s bar was a topless/nude bar. I’ll have to go back and watch again. I didn’t love that Amber hacked up the poor mannequins even more. First hands, then heads... next week should be really gruesome. ? I would love to see Khiem win.
  20. Did you see her husband’s face in the bit at the end when they share the scores? So weird, but funny!
  21. We laughed out loud at her entire routine, but not a single giggle for the comedian.
  22. The only doors that I truly liked were Kheim (I would have given him the win) and Robert’s. Ambers’s dismembered mannequin hands made me uncomfortable. I really disliked her door and was annoyed that she won.
  23. I quite liked Kahi’s room, though I wish she’d spent the remainder of her budget on a console table. I wasn’t impressed by the one that the carpenter (forget his name) made. It made me think of the top half of a puppet theatre.
  24. Did Japopo’s serve them raw, or how did they manage to cook them if they are so heat resistant? Maybe they knew they were in a restaurant so they played dead?
